Aisha POV
After what happened, Gallant scolded the living hell out of me. Abdul joined in as well in our conversation. During this incident, Gallant and Abdul became friends. They both took care of the paperwork. Apparently, there was some sort of procedure for public disturbance. This was not my fault though. The other party admitted their wrong doings. Abdul just gave us warnings, telling us not to do it again. Taking me away from the Adventurer's Guild, Gallant told me to reflect on my actions and grounded me. Just for the day. Renting a few rooms at this inn, I was sent to my room. It seems like we will be staying here for a good week or so. Gallant scolded Alice and Melantha for being bystanders. Alice knew that I was not in any immediate danger and thought of this as an important life lesson. Gallant accepted this reason. Melantha brushed this off. I blame Melantha for making me scream though. Never again...
Unable to explore the rest of this city, I fell asleep. Ultimately, I should have stayed awake.
Waking up to the next day, I did my daily routine. I washed myself, changed into my clothes, head down to eat breakfast, and return to my room. After the little incident, I should have examined these new abilities, skills, classes, and the special art. I could ask Gallant about these sudden changes or inform him about this little development. Actually, it is a huge development. I have obtained a chaos ability, skill, class, and special art.
Skills can be earned from doing the same action over and over again. If you swing a sword around, you can obtain a level in swords. The sheer fact that I obtained chaos armor because of cursed armor and holy armor was unexpected. A class can be obtained by meeting the minimal requirements or having a mentor. I obtained one by defeating Tessa, and the other class by merging the two classes I have on me. I am a bit troubled at how I got the ability [Summon Chaos Armor]. Chaos armor skill is a skill? Or is it a magic skill? If it is a magic skill, I am disturbed by it. The word 'summon' is usually tied with conjurations. I would have said summoning, but summoning is entitled towards living creatures. Summoning a dragon, an imp, succubus, those things would fit the bill. Making sure that I was right, I checked [Summon Chaos Armor].
[Summon Chaos Armor] - Allows the user to summon chaos armor around their body. While doing this, physical and magical abilities will increase in power. Chaos magic will be strengthened tremendously. Upon summoning, chaos armor will change the user into a chaos class. The special art [Chaotic Knight Aura] will be available. Without the chaos armor, you cannot swap to [Chaos Knight] or use the special art Chaotic Knight Aura]. This will consume a fair amount of mana.
Yeah, this ability sounds more of a conjuration. It would make sense if I unlocked this while I have a conjuration skill on me. But I don't. Adding onto this, I remember another key feature. The notification stated a 'special' class. What does that mean? There are a special classes out there that are extremely rare. Let me use an example of an [Alchemist Splitter]. No one knows how to unlock this special class. Only those of a genius level or a very intellectual being can obtain it. As the first part of their name, [Alchemist Splitter] must have some familiarity with alchemy. The second part, the splitter, refers to the breakdown of laws, theories, skills, perks, abilities, and, perhaps, special arts. It will take a genius or some highly intellectual being to figure out how to break these things down. Pretty much, you can compare this sort of thinking with science. We figure out that most things are made up of matter. Then that means that almost everything is made up of atoms. For an [Alchemist Splitter], they thoroughly experiment with the things I listed earlier. They can take apart a theory and remake it into something new. They can compress a bunch of skills together to make an entirely new skill. They can take a skill and break it down to its core parts. Ultimately, an [Alchemist Splitter] can distribute their own creations for better or worse.
As I think this out, I realize that Brynhild could be an [Alchemist Splitter]. Being a genius, she could have unlocked it when she developed her [Defeat Inheritor] unless there was some other factor. She could have found a bunch of instructions or guides. When Valarie explained her vague process on how she made her own curse, she said nothing about being an [Alchemist Splitter]. Speaking of those two, should I ask them about this sudden development? I don't know if Brynhild is at the mansion still.
Before I can pull out the device Valarie gave me, my room turned grey. Frightened by this, I got up from my bed. A familiar being was right behind me, pulling me back. Crashing on my bed, I can feel a soft feeling between my head. Two soft...
Boobs. I can feel them. Who is hugging me?!
"Look at you, creating a fuss already in a new city. I would scold you for being a bit childish with yesterday's events, but you did unlock a chaos ability, skill, special art, and class."
"Chaos, can you let me go?" Yep. It is my divine being. My very laxed, pajama wearing divine being. Why is she still in her damn pajamas?! Her hands are latched around me as I try to wiggle my way out. I hear a little moan escape her mouth, halting my movements. Is she doing this on purpose?! Blushing from her moan, she lets out an alluring chuckle, nuzzling her head against mine.
"I just want to bond with my little champion now. Is that too much to ask?"
"It is a bit too much when you invaded my personal space! Let alone-" I should have stayed put. Turning around to face Chaos, the divine being pulled me towards her breasts. Yelling into them, she lets out a slight chuckle.
"My my, aren't you being a bit aggressive~"
"Stop toying with me!" Blushing violently at this fucking goddess, I stubbornly push myself off of her. Glaring at her, I say, "What are you doing here anyways?! You can't visit me-"
"I can. I need to inform my champion about a few things. Anything related to you," she pokes me in the chest on you, "...is acceptable. Need to give my champion a mission, I can see you. Need to tell you something important, I can see you. Need to give you advice on sex, I can definitely-"
"I will certainly avoid you if I need such help!" I exclaim. Trying to escape her embrace, she quickly turns me over and get ontop of me.
"Oh? You know, the [Lustful Curse] is about to hit its deadline. You are on the sixth day. Tomorrow, if you don't have sex, you will be raping every girl in Zezrious. As a divine being, I have indulge myself with such things. We can do it if you want. Just know that I am merciless. Hell, if you don't want me, then you can ask Brynhild or Valarie. Valarie is a big danger though cause of her little kink. I doubt you can survive her games since you have such a sensitive body." To highlight her last statement, she tickles my belly before she pinch my right nipple. Even with my shirt on, I can feel the effects of her two actions. Zipping my mouth tight, I slap her hands away from me. Chaos smiles at my reaction. "This is sooooo cute... I forgot how virgins are."
"C-Can you get to the main point?! I got plans for today!" My god!I want a sane divine being now. Chaos is too much. Hell, Valarie would be a better divine being to serve... I think? Contemplating about who was worse, Chaos rest her head ontop of my breasts. I broke out of my own thoughts once she starts to nuzzle her chin against them. Her comment definitely left a mark on me.
"You are still growing... Hopefully your boobs can be a bit bigger. They are a bit comfy, but the lack volume-"
"Excuse me for not being a big breasted gal!" I yelled. "Okay! Hurry up with your explanation! Once you tell me this, you will leave me alone." I hope she leaves. Chaos complies with my request with a shrug of her shoulder. Her head still rests on my boobs though. She is savoring every moment. Not only that, it seems like she's stalling. After a minute went by, she speaks up.
"Because of the chaos essence in you, it somehow morphed the [Defeat Inheritor]. The original purpose of the [Defeat Inheritor] is to inherit the things off of your defeated enemy. For example, yesterday's incident, you defeated the hot-headed paladin girl. The first notification box revealed the things you obtained from her. The second box, however, was the new feature of the [Defeat Inheritor] influenced by my chaos presence and chaos magic. As I stated, the chaos magic is unpredictable and self-aware. The chaos in you is going beyond the normal logic of what you know. Yes, you were right about [Summon Chaos Armor]. It should go hand in hand with your conjuration skill which you don't have, but the sheer fact that you have a skill called [Chaos Armor] makes the cut. You fulfilled the minimal requirement. Usually, [Chaos Armor] influences the durability, hardness, and the use of any actually chaos armor you can equip. Fun fact though, chaos armor cannot be made from this physical world. As a chaos user, you have to make it with your own energy. There are other ways to make your own chaos armor. Nox, your mom's old mentor, can shape existing metals and combine it with her own magic to make chaos armor. You are still inexperienced for that sort of crafting." Landing a ton of information on me, I blink at this.
My [Defeat Inheritor] has changed? Seriously? From what Chaos is saying, this is a huge benefit. Actually, it is like a huge upgrade. A stupidly overpowered upgrade.
"Yeah, I am slightly impressed. I can say this though, the second notification box will reveal itself when-"
"I have a light and dark trait of some sort." Instead of saying skills, special arts, abilities, and the likes, I will call them traits from here on out. I know this from the time I fought against Valarie. Huh, I won against her right? Since I defeated Tessa, I got her traits. Why didn't I get Valarie's traits?
"You didn't knock her out." Chaos corrected, "And... You shouldn't dindle in such a thought. Winning against Valarie would be a con on your end. Unless you become like her, but you aren't. You would die the moment you lie to yourself. Her curses can eat away at your sanity. Better yet, here's a taste of what that feels like." Snapping her fingers, I felt a sudden pain numbing my head. In the next second, unimaginable thoughts swarm my head. It felt like every reason to get mad at someone was fueling my insanity and pain. Killing my mom, my friends, raping my lover, burning villages, killing innocents, watching a torture happen before me, unbearable agony fills my body. I could not form a comprehensive thought. Screaming at the unbearable feeling, I grasp my head with both hands. I thought this would help me, but I can feel my own hands wanting to squish my head. Hearing a snap, Chaos lifts the insanity out of me.
Sweating, panting, I stare at my divine being. Despite my frantic movements, she was still ontop of me. Valarie had to deal with that?! Who would place themselves in such a crazy position?! This will break anyone's mind. They will become a monster if they can't control it. I would have lost control at the two minute marker. I have newfound respect for Valarie. If she can handle that, then she is truly a monster of some sort. I wonder what will happen if she could not control her insanity? Would she be helping me in that case? I shudder at the thought of an 'insane' Valarie.
"Anyways, regarding the special arts, know that this is something that your essence is doing. If they meet the right criterias, it being light and dark, then there will be a chance of obtaining a special arts through inheriting. I know that special arts are suppose to be special. They are obtained through a sudden breakthrough. In your case, you can obtain it if you defeat a certain opponent. You can still obtain a special art the normal way. If you won against the lizardman, you could have obtained his special racial art and a perk that can understand their native language. On the subject about the locked feature, the special class will be available on your rank up. You could ask Brynhild for more details, but I think you should expeirence it for yourself." Absorbing this info, I asked my next question.
"Abilities and skills are locked to a certain class. If I was a [Paladin], I can only use a few abiltiies right?" I haven't toyed around with my settings just yet. Before I was reverted back to a rank one, my class was [Warrior] and [Mage]. Even though I specialize in some elements and I use two swords, I have not officially pursued a particular class. Gallant taught me the basics and some intermediate lessons on dual wielding. The others taught me the basics of magic and a few intermediate spells. With that being said, I could use a variety of weapons and spells without any sort of backlash. When you official declare something, like a [Rogue] class for example, then certain traits will carry over. Something like [Backstab], [Silent Feet], [Cloak], these abilities emphasize the rogue's stealth. On the other hand, abilities like [Cast Fire Lance], [Cast Fire], [Shield Bash], will not be that great. I mean, you can use it still. It's not like your other traits will disappear, but you won't excel well in it. As a rogue, your spells will consume twice the amount of mana. [Shield Bash] will not be as effective. A rogue uses daggers, throwing knives, blow darts, bombs, crossbows, swords, bow and arrows, and knives. A rogue can use a different weapon, however, there will be a penalty. Using a shield to protect yourself from arrows will not create any sort of penalty. Using [Shield Bash] with the weapon that is not part of the [Rogue] class will lower the effective of the skill. [Shield Bash] can knock an enemy down. As a rogue, this will not be the case if they use [Shield Bash]. They will push their opponent, but it will not knock them down.
"Kind of dumb." Chaos sighs. "Most of the divine beings made this entire world like a game. Seriously? A backlash for choosing a class? If someone trained themselves everday to use [Shield Bash], then they chose their class and see how pathetic they are, it doesn't add up. This should not hinder the traits outside of your class. This is why most people are easy to read. Such narrow-mindedness. This is why I created chaos magic."
"Divine beings made life a game?" I don't get it. What?
"Aisha, divine beings are too... cocky. They end up getting bored. Why do you think we go out to get ourselves some champion? Why do you think this world is in chaos most of the time? Why do you pit our own champions against each other? We are becoming stale. Back in my days, the old divine beings had a balance of sorts. They weren't that laxed. They did not amuse themselves with the world down below. I am getting off topic now. Sorry about that. Just use this ancedote as an example for life. Question and bitch about the stuff you don't like." As she pauses, I guess I can take this tip. "Because of my chaos essence and [Defeat Inheritor], you defy the system. You are technically a [Paladin] and [Black Knight] right now. [Chaos Knight] will only pop up if you equip the chaos armor."
"... I feel like I am cheating." I have to admit, this was amazing and weird at the same time. I stand by my statement. With these gifts, I can just cheese my way through the place although I'll heed Brynhild's advice. I need to rank up properly to get these special benefits.
"Cheating? No. You will need this power for later. The world is extremely dangerous and unpredictable. Without prior knowledge about the area around you, the creatures you need to look after, the signs within the area of a dangerous creature or being, and so much more, you would have been dead on day one. The knights can help you, but they will bring misfortune. No. Don't ask about their history. Ask that to Gallant and Golem. They can fill you in." She has a point about the ignorance. I do not know anything about this world. If I was by myself, a lot of things could happen. Halting my thoughts there, I really need to know about the black knight history. I owe my knights this much, and I got a feeling that those death knights will become a mortal enemy. Pondering on about these things, I forgot about one key thing about a champion and their divine being.
They set a contract and some grand goal. Upon their first interaction, champions will listen to their divine beings and hear them out. The divine beings will state why the champion was selected and what the divine being strives for. After hearing them out, the mortal can accept or decline the champion title bestowed upon them. If they accept the title, they will then establish a grand goal for themselves. The champion will state theirs along with the divine being. Once they set a goal up, it will bind the champion and divine being with a contract. They will do what they can for each other as long as it is aligned to their grand goal. If it does not, then the champion or the divine being will have the chance to sever their ties. Doing this will forever cut the relationship with each other. This means no return. Once you end it, your champion reputation with that divine being is void. You can still be a champion for another divine being though, but like an interview, it will be recorded.
Meeting Chaos, we did form a slight connection and agreement, however, we never established a grand goal of some sort. Reading my mind, she shakes her head. I would have asked why, but she was quite... serious.
"Taking Valarie's words into mind, about forcing you into something you don't want to do, I will not state my grand goal. If you think it is a bit unfair, then I will explain myself in due time. I will assist you in your goal. If you question me, I will end our relationship right here." I silence my thoughts and kept quiet. "Good. You can question it once I am back in my world. Do you have any questions about yesterday?"
"How do I rank up exactly? I think Brynhild explained this when I received [Defeat Inheritor] but that was almost a week ago."
"You have to obtain ten skills at level 1-9 to get to rank two." Chaos answers. "After that, you will need fifteen skills at level 10-19 to get to rank three. Just add five to the previous number after each level up. I think the chaos essence changed the original settings in [Defeat inheritor]. Anything else?" Listing the stuff off of my head, I place a finger on my chin. Oh, seems like Chaos got off of my breasts... finally.

Earlier, Chaos said I was close to my time limit...
"H-How... Does the [Lustful Curse] work? I-I-I mean... requirement wise." Yep. My voice is cracking. I am shaking... Yep, my cheeks are really red. Chaos gives a fiendish smile.
"You read it, didn't you? It can be with any girl... But wait!" Teasing me, she walks up and says, "I bet you want to do it with someone important! Your virginity is at stakes! You could go towards the brothel, but you know better than that! You want someone like a lover to do it. To wisp you away, make your heart go crazy, then get laid like-"
"You can leave now!" I scream, exiting the room. My entire body is hot. My face is like a goddamn tomato. What's wrong with that logic?! I cover my face with my hands, little out a cute squeal. Before she leaves, Chaos telepathically says, "I am just teasing. That isn't a bad thing. Finding someone worthy for your first time is a noble cause. You can either do it with Alice or someone else I have in mind. Check out Warrington around noon. Best of luck~" The grey color around me disappears. Time was moving again. I can see four figures come out into the hall. Gallant, Golem, and the two black knights approach me.
"Aisha, we need to talk." Understanding the purpose of their visit, I went back into my room. Watching Gallant and Golem enter, the two other knights stayed outside. Once the door was closed, Gallant took a nearby chair while Golem stands. For his size and weight, he would destroy the poor wooden chairs. I am surprised at how the floor is still intact.
"Before I tell you this, are you sure about this?" Gallant looks at me, leaning forward in his chair. "Once I tell you this information, you will not live a normal life anymore. Our enemies will become yours. These enemies will do whatever they can to hurt you. They will hunt down your love ones. They will show no mercy."
"Do you think I have a normal life?" I display a weak smile on my face. A normal life would have been my life as a princess. A sheltered princess being used by my fahter. Gallant understands my question, leaning back in his seat.
"Regardless, are you sure? You already have a lot on your plate."
Staring at Gallant, I gave him a firm answer. "I want to know. You guys have been with me ever since my childhood. You are like my comrades. My friends. A bunch of father like figures who guided me through my life. I cannot turn my back on you guys. I know you want something from me. You will sacrifice your very life for me, and I need to know why. I can never forgive myself if I feign ignorance and use you guys. You came to me for a reason. It is time." Golem and Gallant eye at each other. Understanding something, they just nod at one another.
"Where can I start?" Gallant looks up towards the ceiling. Is he asking me or Golem? Snapping out of his gaze, he looks at me. "The black knights are a bunch of warriors from long ago. I won't go into the whole history of our uprising. I will focus on the recent events. After many years of fighting, we were recognized as deadly warriors. Knights who would bring fear onto the battlefield. We have slain countless of enemies in grave situations. Even if our enemies outnumbered us, we fought valiantly. Despite our reputation, we were kind to our people. We protected the weak and perform our duties. We had our own faction." He paused for a moment. He raise his hand in front of me, asking, "Do you know about our armor? I bet you had a question like 'why do they wear their armor twenty-four seven.' Our armor is cursed. We do not have the luxury of taking off this armor. Once we equip it, there is no turning back. The armor represents our history and our strength. This is our curse we will gladly wear for the rest of our lives. Although it takes away the ability to have sex..."
"Not. Important." Golem stated.
"I know, I know. It is important to note about the other stuff though. Wearing this armor allows us to act like a golem. We do not need water, food, rest, sleep, anything that humans would normally need. We can still die though. Poison can still affect us for example."
"Armor. Gives. Strength." Golem added.
"Right. The armor has a unique feature. It improves our traits. Skills, attributes, perks, abilities, all of these will level in some way. It will not be a grand upgrade but its something. The one last bonus for this armor is the special trait. Anyone who equips our armor will receive the special trait [Black Knight's Last Resort]. Everyone in our old country knew about us. We forged alliances with those who wanted peace, and we eliminated our enemies. We had a good hundred years of peace. That didn't last long. The emergence of these death knights was the start of our downfall. Peace was only temporary. We knew that war would come to us.
Our leader, the Dark Imperator, saw this coming. What he did not expect was the emergence of a new class along with a new power that would rival our own. Death knights uses a new source of energy called death energy. They consume and use the souls of the dead. Specifically, the souls they have slained. By default, a death knight is stronger than a black knight. Our strength lies in our own hard work and our special art. A rank four death knight can kill a rank eight black knight. Perhaps a rank nine warrior as well. These death knights wanted vengeance. They want us to be eliminated. They wanted us to be extinct. The Imperator knew their leader. He never disclosed who was leading the death knights. All he did was defend the lands as best as we can. With the rise of the death knights, several factions joined their campaign. Our alliances with these former factions were severed. In a few years, we were surrounded and had few allies. Even then, our leader never asked for help. He knew that there was no way to prevent our doom.
Given a few more years, they arrived at our capital. This last battle was called the Extinction. This was where we would have died and the black knight's history would be erased from this world. Yet our leader had a plan. He did not explain why he wanted us to do this, but he did not accept our extinction. He allowed Nero and a select few to escape the country and fulfill his last mission. Nero, Titan, and Zen are the few strongest knights who served under our Imperator. Sending out these individuals was a sign of importance. This mission being extremely important. Nero, being the right hand man for our leader and the grand marshal. questioned the Imperator. Not just him though. We wanted to decline this order. We wanted to die with our brothers and sisters, yet our Imperator ordered us. Ordered? No, he commanded us not to die until we complete our mission. Fleeing from our homeland, we felt the death of our faction and the conclusion to this war. Our Imperator died along with the rest of our brothers and sisters. With our orders, we traveled far and wide. And here we are... With you."
This last mission of theirs... It couldn't be? No, I think it is. Letting this soak in, I rub my chin. The black knights had it tough. They fought to obtain their lands and peace, yet the death knights emerged from this. 'They wanted vengeance.' The Imperator might have known who their leader was because of their past action. He knew that peace wouldn't last for a long while because there might have been a survivor from their defeated enemies. Hatred can do so much to one person. I should keep these thoughts to myself for now. In the end, the Imperator denied their extinction. Closing my eyes, I asked this.
"You want me to become your leader? The last mission is to find a new leader, right?"
"Easy to piece together huh?" Gallant sighs. "You are growing Aisha. Yes, our mission was to find a new leader for our faction. They must have the potential of leading us against our mortal enemies. The new candidate must be approved by Nero. Since our service, you have fulfilled all of the requirements. We wanted you to become our new Imperator. The reason why we went with Amelia's plans was to give you power. We will do everything in our power for you. And even if you decline this, we will still serve you and protect you." Gallant and Golem kneel before me, heads lowered to the ground. I did not give it any thought. I already have my answer.
"You guys are too much." I give a weak smile. "I do not deserve such a treatment from you guys. I should be the one thanking you for everything. Ever since you lot became my knights, I was able to smile throughout those painful days in captivity. Even now, you guys are still at my side."
Standing up, I stated this with a serious face. "I knew you needed something from me, and I will accept this. I will become your new leader. I will become the next Imperator." Upon those words, a box appears before me.
Knowing about the [Dark Imperator] and the history of the Black Knights, you can now see the hidden requirements for the leadership class [Dark Imperator]. Note: [Dark Imperator] may transform into a new unique class depending on your traits and progress. The following requirements have been unlocked. To obtain this class, you must:
1. Dawn the leadership of the Black Knights
2. Reach the rank of a High God
3. Kill a Death Knight by themselves
4. Establish a base for the Black Knights
5. Gone through the ritual to lead the Black Knights
6. Has ownership over a cursed object
7. You are cursed (completed)
8. You have [Black Knight] class (completed)
(2/8 Completed)
This was hidden? My own... eh, boxes can do this to me? Keep hidden information away from me unless I unlock the secret requirements? This is unfair! I did not know that this was a thing! Reading the notification box one more time, I unlocked it in someway. How? Was it... I might have received this little box when I killed Gale. That was the only time I did something of huge importance, and it highlights the key points to becoming the [Dark Imperator]. Then again, I would not know about this if I did not obtain the history lesson from Gallant. Focusing on these eight points, I already completed two of them. I have the black knight class, and I am cursed. Two of these points are questionable. Dawning the leadership and ritual? There was a ritual to become the next Imperator? Three of these points are simple enough. Getting a cursed weapon, getting to a high god rank, and killing a death knight. The last point was... a bit demanding. Can I really make a base for the black knights? This, in itself, is a bad idea because I have no clue if the enemy is watching us. And speaking of enemies...
The next box was a permenant warning.
WARNING: Due to your declaration, Death knights are your mortal enemies. They will show no mercy. Be weary of your surroundings.
Makes sense. Helping my own knights will make me an enemy to the death knights. Maybe that was why I was given this power. To defend myself against the death knight. The two knights got back up.
"There's a ritual?" My question surprised my two knights.
"How do you know about that?" Gallant had a tone of shock. Debating about my little notification box, I decided to tell them the truth.
"Apparently a notification box sent me the requirements on how to become the Imperator." Gallant and Golem look at each other.
"Does it have eight points? The eight requirements you need to do?"
"Yes."
"I see... Is this because of your [Defeat Inheritor]?"
"More of a blend. [Defeat Inheritor] changed due to my chaos essence." Gallant strokes his chin.
"This is big." Before I could explain the sudden changes, Gallant stops me. "Do not say anything else. It is better to keep this information to yourself. The sheer fact that it has changed means that you might be stronger than yesterday."
"Good." Golem hints a bit of joy behind his voice. "Plans?"
"We continue our work with the Adventurer's Guild. We will not be leaving Zezrious anytime soon." Gallant eyes me, "I have heard some interesting reports from the nearby area, so we shall look into this matter. The two other knights, maids, and butlers will watch over your siblings while you take care of your mission. Alice will stay with you again. Also, try to stay out of trouble. We do not want to stand out."
Letting out a sigh, I nod my head. Not my fault that I got into that fight.
General X POV
Aisha likes to get herself into a heap of trouble. I reported back to Valarie, telling her about the little incident she created. A fight against some high ranking adventurers is a bit too much, however, I have to admit, Aisha handled herself well in terms of hiding her true power. Glad that Gallant gave Aisha some pointers beforehand. If she couldn't handle it, I would have stepped in. Despite my praise, it is a bit risky to show such a huge difference. There are times when a rank one can beat a demigod or even a lesser god.
But a high god?
This may bring unwanted attention. Especially since they are in Zezrious. King Len will not let this slide by. Even if I can prevent the flow of information from reaching his ears, he will somehow learn about this in time. I sent in a few of my agents in Zezrious. They told me that one of the soldiers, Abdul, was planning something. Something about visiting an armory. If I could, I would have ordered an assassination on the guy, but he has a unqiue aura around him. He is either close to Len or has a secret agenda. Either way, he can be useful.
In terms to why I am here, this is just a side mission before I head out west. The issue with the demihumans and humans are getting out of hand. My objective is to stop the infighting. If this does not work, I shall force them to stop. Most likely, upon my interference, the undead horde will attack us. And with their appearance, I will divert the two races to attack the undead. The sheer fact that the undead army is growing will bring a calamity. As the head general for Valarie, this is not a huge issue for us. Hell, my main army alone can handle the undead horde. But I am not bringing them with me. They are stationed at Amelia's town Erith. I could barely call that place a settlement when they weren't targeted by the light or dark side. Due to the elimination of Emperor Titus and his faction, we have total control over Oplia. At least ten cities and twenty-five towns are under our control. In terms of size, this is just a tiny bit of land. If I had to describe it, the area we control can be compared to chocolate chip on a large cookie cake. Speaking of cookies, do they have them in this world?
Anyways, I will be commanding the nearby armies in the west to deal with the main issue. They will not be the elite troopers I train, but I can whip them into shape. Give it two to three weeks No, maybe one week if all goes well. As I plan out my future training regiments, I know that something will go horribly wrong. I know King Len will hear about Aisha's little blunder. What I am worried about are the nearby cities. Zezrious is a famous city, but the two other cities are notorious in their own way. Aeston and Warrington. These three cities are in their own different nation and country, but they have some sort of alliance with one another. The competition is fierce, but the amount of courtesy is also high. They bash heads, then they shake hands with one another.
The city, Warrington, is in Noglua. It is ruled by the infamous King Leon. King Leon works under Emperor Arron Beaulieu. King Leon has a famous reputation when he fought for his title and occupation. On the battlefield, he was a warrior who would tank anything and everything. And by tank, I mean it. He would allow the attacks to hit him. Bullets, cannons, rocks, anything you can swing or toss at him, he will face it head on. He must be a giant of some sort. His size is larger than a male human. Leon favors his hand-to-hand combat. If I was an idiot, he could actually tear me in two. He could also crush me with his weight alone. The relationship with Len is up in the air. I know, for certain, that the two are rivals. But are they friends? No clue. Leon will try to compete against Len in anyway possible. Right now, they are testing their soldiers on the open battlefield.
The Tri Field.
This is an open batlefield where they can fight to their heart's content. Using plastic models, the weapons will barely hurt them. The actually magic used on the battlefield has been nerfed. The shield around the place has the ability to tone down the actually damage. Certain abilities or spells like [Heal], [Cast Shield], and other buffs are not debuffed. They still retain their actually strength. Learning about this strange shield, Len actually created an unknown piece of technology that has caught everyone's attention.
Even I want this sort of technology. For obvious reasons, the shield will change how one conducts future warfare. Magic will be useless against this. This will force their opponents to use phsyical weapons. Sadly, my agents cannot locate the generator. Yes, I know about generators. Remembering my past life, the shield reminds me of the futuristic shields. A shield that can nullify incoming projectiles. In the same sense, this one can do the same thing, but it seems to be self-aware. Beings can go through the shield, but bullets and magic projectiles cannot. Actually, I got a feeling that the generator has a control panel. In my past life, the shields I know of cannot allow anyone to come in or out unless you destroy the generator. At the same time, I also ask this question. "Is Len a reincarnated soul?" He equips the same modern guns used in my past life. He has innovated certain features and systems in his city and armies. And now, he has a generator. Rubbing my forehead, I pray that this was sheer coincidence. There are a few pieces of technology that eludes me. I have no clue how he was able to figure it out or make them, but he did it.
[Cloaking] and [Anti-Field].
These two are man-made perks. Man-made! If Len says he was a genius, I can see why. But he hasn't. A genius can declare themselves as a genius if they are the first person to do it. Making a curse from scratch is a prime example of this along with a perk that defies the system. With this example, Len is saying that this has been done before. Someone already made these two perks. How? And who? Obviously, Len has the choice to release this information or keep it to himself. More of the latter because this is a huge advantage over your opponents. Honestly, those who do not know about this will die immediately. I can see that happening. King Len has not revealed his elite troopers. Not to his allies. not to the queen witch, not to Leon, these elite soldiers are always in the shadows.
And my elite troopers fought against theirs. Rank means nothing against these advance troopers. Magic is useless if they cannot hit them or see them. Forcing them into hand-to-hand combat will not change a thing. Len's elite soldiers are well trained. Better than my own to some degree. From a quick skirmish from one of my squads, they had to retreat. [Anti-Field] negates the effects of [God's Realm] and [Demigod's Realm]. Nothing else. A demigod should win against a rank ten warrior.
But Len's elite soldiers are an outlier. They defy this logic.
Compared to his soldiers within Zezrious, the elites have equipment of a futuristic soldier. A hybrid of advance technology and magical properties. Enhancement on their gauntlets, jetpacks on their backs, boosters in their boots, gatling guns in their hands, these elites are well-rounded. They can adapt on the field. Force them into melee, they can handle it. Break away from them, they will shoot you. Try to flee, they will pursue you. The squad had to call for help. My soldiers would NEVER call for help. Understanding the dire situation, I assisted them. The fight was out of this world. It reminded me of my old life. The elite soldiers would be all over the place, using everything to their advantage. They hide behind the terrain, they turn invisible, they rush us when they can, these elites were cheetahs. Even if my soldiers can teleport, these elite soldiers shot at them. They can predict their movements. They adapted to incoming attacks. They knew what spells would come at them. A simple gesture or a single word will alert them.
I had to intervene.
They would have an edge over me if I was not familiar with their technology and movements. I personally crushed them in my own way. Their helmets have sensors that can predict and decipher each movement. My souleater denied this. My weapon enhances my movements, accuracy, shoots, and fighting capabilities. Not only that, my emotions can create a deadly unreadable aura. This is actually important. People can feel one's auras and use that to figure out where they will teleport to. Making my aura unreadable, the enemies cannot evade me that easily.
I should have been a bit more discrete about it. Len must have gave them some sort of communicator along with a bomb. Not risking capture, they fought till the end. When they were dying or dead, their bodies blew up. Their armor was gone. Usually, I would have stripped the body of the armor and break it down. Try to figure out how it worked. But no, these soldiers knew what to do. Len must have gained the report about me as well. Ever since that incident, we have never bumped heads with one another. Len is cautious of us and vice versa.
And how did this happen? A random encounter for one thing. The other was a clash of interest. We knew King Len had some sort of intelligence group, but it seems like Len was always keeping his eyes out on worldy events. I think we were trying to get intel on the civil war kicking in with the elves, but my group bumped into Len's elites.
Well enough about Len's eltes.
The other city, Aeston, is located in Tafrana. The ruler is the empress of her own faction and is an [Overlord Witch Queen]. Jenine Swett. Out of all the Overlord Witch Queens, she is a deadly opponent. Valarie is a deadlier poison, but Jenine can be a step below my ruler. She can be quite manipulative. She has slaughtered countless of opponents to get to her spot. A witch queen has a lot of influence. Hell, I can say that they are the rulers that can dictate the life or death of the true witches. Yes, true witches. Like demons, true witches serve under the witch queens and have their own system in place. Becoming a true witch can be obtained through birth or choice. When someone obtains the [Witch] class, you can become a true witch. There are several benefits to this. Compared to a regular witch, a spell from a true witch can be boosted by twofolds. A hex from a true witch can become a curse. Most magic casters can feel the mana around them, but true witches can literally see the flow of mana. They can also sap the nature around them to refuel their mana pool. These are the few perks one can inherit.
The witch queens dictate the nature and order of all the true witches. I have no clue how this happened and how it works, but I got a good understanding of some of it. The witch queens have their own separate factions and goals. With being said, a true witch must select their queen. Once that is done, depending on their goals, the true witch will have a certain mindset. If they want to be peaceful, they will aim for peace. If they want war, they will be violent and savage. They will show no ounce of mercy. Witch queens control a good amount of true witches. There are a couple witch queens in our faction who have this title. They tend to keep the other true witches in line. Ultimately, these witch queens do not have the overwhelming power of the Overlord Witch Queen. Overlord Witch Queens are the true rulers of the witches. They determine the final say in things. What things? Well, I can't say. The information is locked tight. I do not know what they can do specifically, but I decided that most of the true witches will not be within the elite ranks of my army. I can't trust them.
The main point is this: Aisha might become a target. For who and for what, can't say, but eyes will follow her every movement. Warrington and Aeston are known for their business with slavers. Compared to Zezrious, these cities do not have a lot of spare guards walking about twenty-four seven. Crimes can happen at shady alleys, abandoned houses, and when one least expects it. People can be enslaved right on the spot as well if they aren't too careful. Aisha revealed her value despite being a rank one. An unknown attractive female comes out of nowhere and made a mess of things. She needs to be restrained. She needs obedience. She needs to be put down There are so many excuses to the things people will do. Zezrious will just shrug its shoulder at the recent events, but adventurers might want to mess with Aisha. Strangers may want to have their own little sick fantasies with her. Slavers will try to put a collar on her.
I won't let that happen. My agents are already in the three cities. If something were to happen, I will handle it. Under direct orders, Aisha cannot be enslaved by some idiot. She is too valuable for that shit. Then again, I got a feeling that Aisha might be able to build some sort of resistance to it. The ordeal she had with her broken state is deadlier than the magic within the slave collar. Still, I will kill all of the slavers who will try to do anything to Aisha.
Cracking my neck, I roll my right shoulder. Stepping out of my hiding place, I am greeted by several maids. These are not your normal maids. They are just my elite soldiers in disguise. Acting as my escort for some rich princess, I am just making my way through the nearby cities. As a former male in my previous life, I hate wearing such an outfit. A fucking dress. Too many goddamn frills, the bright goddamn colors, and then the tightness of my clothes. Like really, how the hell can I run with this long ass skirt?! Showing an irritated face, I can hear some giggles. Glaring at my damn escorts, they look away from me. They either like me in this damn dress, or they are just laughing at my pathetic appearance. Well, they might think its cute, but I HATE IT. Hissing through my teeth, I issue the move out command. Marching forward, I follow them.
"Let's see how this plays out." A bastardly smiles forms across my face. Who would expect a nasty treat from an adorable, little girl?
