Chapter 25: Return

-Outside the Forest Dungeon-

All of us tried our best to hide because we all know that there's no way we can defeat that monster. Those 500 people were crushed, burned or eaten to death, I'm pretty sure! We didn't make a single move. The monster who just came out from inside the dungeon decided to fly and leave the area.

Thank goodness. Maybe it's full and doesn't want to eat us anymore. We're just happy that we are safe, too bad for those greedy people who went inside first. After it had left the area, we regrouped and planned what to do next.

"That monster is a Chimera, a Ranked A monster! It's one of the legendary monsters that no one has beaten yet and requires at least 10 Ranked A players to defeat it. I heard that when the game just got released, they had already seen the Chimera but they said it was just a rumor. Today, I have the evidence that the chimera is really real!" A not really important guard is talking to himself.

"So, what's the plan?" The brat must know what to do next because we came here and we only lost a lot of people and gain nothing... Well, I gain some few.

"Nothing, we just need to go back to the city and make a report. Don't worry you will be rewarded for your troubles," She answered like she's out of energy. I can say that she's not really happy with what happened.

Well, we didn't get anything but just information about some legendary monster we were not aware of.

"Get ready to move out guys. We will leave as soon as you're ready," She ordered.

My party looked really exhausted after all that happened to us. We were packing the loot from earlier and it will be harder to travel with all of it. We will get rich after selling the armors and weapons we got from those members of the Ravens Guild. More money!

From 723, now we're just less than 200 are left now. We traveled again back to the city. The path was peaceful again. Even with just 200 people, monsters are still afraid to get near us. The adventure was fun. At least we didn't end up like those who died from that monster and got killed like the Ravens.

"Hey Scy, it was fun! We're alive too. That monster was really scary, though. I thought I was going to die there you know. Haha," Elou started to talk to me. I know traveling back to the city will be boring and we need to at least talk to lessen the lifelessness.

"Yeah, that was really unexpected. Thanks to Lili we were alive. " I smiled.

"It was... really embarrassing," Wow she replied. She's really shy, and now she's blushing.

"Well, that was cool. My Sis protected us, which is supposed to be my work for being the older sister. I'm happy you were so dependable when we fought with the Ravens. Come here and hug your big Sis," Akko's showing her affection towards her sister, they're so close and cute.

A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

"And I thought we would be eating different kinds of animal heads tonight. Haha," Elou just made a joke about the Chimera.

"EEEEEEEEEEW!" The girls showed their disgusted face and laughed.

We chit-chatted for hours. It was really fun. Getting scared, laughing and traveling with your friends are the best.

-Order of Light North Road-

We didn't realize it but we're almost near the city. Time really flies fast when you're having fun. Also, it's almost getting dark. We traveled for four hours. Earlier we were faster because most of us were excited but now, we were very disappointed in what happened. Many people died but we gained nothing, technically "they" is the best word to use because at least my party got some loot from the Ravens.

We arrived in the city and it sure is lively as usual.

"Fellow Adventurers! Your rewards will be given later. Get back here around eight pm," The brat announced with a face of tiredness.

They already switch the lights on, as usual, it is magnificent. Looking at some places relieves our stress. As soon as we entered, our first destination is the Tavern! A fresh beverage and good food are the best to clear our frustrations.

"So, what happened? Did you guys find anything?" The tavern keeper asked.

"Yeah, we found a freaking Chimera. It was so powerful it killed 500 of the adventurers. We didn't even hear any screams from them," I said looking awful.

"That's great. At least we already know that the Chimera wasn't just a legend but real! How about that?" He said with excitement on his face. Did you just hear what I had said? It killed 500 people for Hell's sake.

"Here are your drinks and food! Eat and drink to your heart's content!"

After that, we hung out for a while, visited some shops to sell our loot, and restocked some new supplies.

"Hey, guys, how about we buy our own wagon as we planned earlier?" I excitedly suggested.

"Let's see here. How many gold coins do we have so far?" Elou asked. We still haven't distributed the gold coins yet.

"Around 300 gold coins, I think this should be enough to buy one," I said after checking it.

In the end, we decided to check the stable.

-Light's Stable-

We arrived at the stable where they sell mounts and other stuff for traveling purposes. We're here to just check.

"Welcome customers! So, what do you need from my humble stable?" He politely asked.

"We need a wagon that can accommodate six to eight people but not that fancy. Do you have something like that?"

"I'm very sorry sir but all of our wagons and carriages have already been sold out. It will take us three to four days to create a new one. We can create a custom design if you want," He said. He has really poor marketing skills.

"So, what do you think guys? Should we order one?" I asked.

"Hmmm sure, as if we have a choice. This is the only place that sells traveling vehicles and we can't create one, right?" Elou suggested.

"Of course, how much is the cost for the one I ordered again?" I asked the merchant.

"It's 200 gold coins without the horse. If you want to buy a horse it will be 50 to 60 gold coins, depends on what kind of horse you picked," Wow that's expensive as hell... I don't think he's lying though, base on his face, he doesn't really know how to sell stuff.

"Oh, alright. We would like to order one wagon with six seats inside and two seats at the front for the driver. About the horse, we'll think about it," I answered.

I paid 100 gold coins for the first payment and will give the other 100 for the finished product. That was a good deal, I hope.

We decided to log out of the game and get back at seven thirty pm.
