Evan stared at his teacher in confusion. Had he heard him right? Unsure Evan had to force himself to speak “I'm sorry, say that again?”, and in return only a smile from Adrian. And with that the conversation was over and Adrian seemed to walk away without a care while Evan was frozen there unable to think or speak, “What? WHAT?” was the only thing racing through Evans head for the next few hours until school got out and his winter break had started.
Evan was not religious in any way, he had ideas and theories but that's all they were, ideas, and here he had just experienced his teacher telling him he's god. “I mean in some way it would explain all the crazy things happening in class. But how come no one else realizes something weird is going on here?” With no answers but unlimited questions Evan was left on his break in a confused state which his parents classified as “his teenage stage”, but if only they knew what had happened they might have had a different view.
After Evans winter break had started he began to see more and more of those strange events which no else saw, they seemed to be happening more and more. It started out small, with Evan walking down the street and seeing clouds shape into actual shapes quite distinct. Then maybe he'd see someone jump roping and the rope phased through the kid and they would continue on jumping as if nothing happened. Once Evan was babysitting the neighbor's newborn kid and suddenly all the TVs and computers turned on and all of his toys lighted up or started making noise while the ceiling lights were flashing.
To escape it all Evan went into “autopilot” and escaped to his realm of thought in which he could live in peace for the brief seconds he could. He had actually created an entire little city in his mind filled with imaginary people and houses, but sadly as any thought exist there were problems. His people would switch between personalities, the world would change on an instant, and Evan would easily get distracted, allowing him to access his small world for only moments at a time. Sadly this was not enough to distract him from the impossibilities surrounding him in every moment of life.

With Evans mind opening further into the problems of the surrounding existence he noticed not only the prominent imbalances of his existence, but the small details he had somehow earlier missed, with mannequins changing position slightly, a single second skipped in time, and other almost unnoticeable changes. The imbalances were overwhelming for Evan and soon enough he was ready to break down.
Winter break was almost over and Evan was dying to talk to his teacher Adrian in hopes of getting an explanation of the craziness he had been forced to experience for the entirety of the break. With questions racing through his head, Evan realization “What if I don’t want to know what's going on? What if I like my mirage of the world and don't want the truth?” But Evan knew himself too well and had to come to the conclusion “There's no way I can live in what I know to be a lie, the horrible truth is better than a desirable deception.”
Finally break was about to end, and in turn Evans unanswered questions were to.
