*Cough*

Narumi stirs, laying on her back with her long blood red hair pooled around her. She gasps and stiffens before opening her bright blue eye, the left swollen shut. She glances down at her ruined right arm then at her companion next to her before softly calling out “Hey... Sasuke?”  

*Groan* *Cough* “yeah, I’m here...” He responded faintly. Sasuke opens his dark eyes and slowly turns his head to look at his childhood rival. “Why... did you not... kill me? Why... have you kept... chasing after... me?” He says looking her in the eyes. Narumi smiles faintly “Because we’re friends...”

They both go quite for a time.

”I’ve been a terrible... friend...” Sasuke says faintly. “Well... there’s no time... like the present! Ha, Ha, ow!” Narumi replies with a chuckle before grimacing in pain. Sasuke also laughs quietly to himself.

They look up and study the star filled sky for a time before Narumi breaks the silence once again. “I hope Sakura made it... she was injured in the battle... pretty badly...” Sasuke grunts out “I’m sure... she’ll pull... through...” as he shudders in pain.

(Narumi? Narumi!) ‘Huh?, hey Kurama... welcome back.’ (Your dying! ) ‘I’m aware’ (I may be able to do something about it, get closer Sasuke and I’ll activate a jutsu!) ‘Um... Ok.’

Narumi painfully rolls over closer to Sasuke, he asks in alarm “What... are you... doing?!” as she reopened some of her wounds with the movement. “Kurama has a plan... just trust me... on this...” Narumi hisses as she grabs Sasuke with her remaining hand. 

They both vanished and the world went undone.
