A week has passed, and Honō and Ross are heading towards their newly acquired lands north from the capital, normally it would take five days to get there, but thanks to his RV (which, if you remember correctly, is an electric car and can be driven 48 hours without problems) they got there in one and a half day, the terrain had no name after the corrupt noble controlling those lands was executed for attempting against the crown, so they just called it the Lands of the Mad Noble, which was a very accurate name to be honest. Anyway, Honō and Ross finally arrive at their mansion, and are received by a handful of maids and butlers, among them there is one that stands out, with silver hair and a mustache, he had a gentle look on his face, you know, the typical not-so-old gentle housekeeper experienced in his job. His name is Ashton Lancer, he was a knight with extreme loyalty to the kingdom, but after retiring from the army, he decided to be a butler for the previous noble, but after its execution and without no one to serve, he was anxious that his role as butler and housekeeper had a meaning again.
Lancer: “Welcome, master, we are here to serve you.”
Honō: “Please tell me your name, I cannot call you butler or housekeeper, right?”
Lancer: “You’re right, my name is Ashton Lancer, but please just call me Lancer.”
Honō: “Then Lancer, I guess after the reign of terror from the Mad Noble there are a lot of inconveniences, right?”
Lancer: “Perhaps, do you want a detailed list of the damages caused?”
Honō: “I would be grateful if you did that”
Lancer then goes to the library of the mansion, and is back with a long list.
Lancer: “This is the list.”
Honō: “Thank you Lancer.”
Honō took a quick look to the list, and then suddenly goes pale.
Honō: “How much time has passed since the execution of that Mad noble?”
Lancer: “About a month and a half”
Honō: “We need to do something FAST!”
Honō was starting to lose his composure, Lancer and Ross are worried about him, Honō then sits in the stairs, sweating cold.
Ross: “What happened?”
Lancer: “Sir Honō, what is wrong?”
Still in shock, Honō starts speaking.
Honō: “If we don’t do something now, then i'm afraid that the people will take measures with their own hands”
After a deep breath, Honō finally took a hold of himself.
Honō: “This is how it all starts, all the accumulated hate towards that noble then spreads in all of the towns affected, then, there only takes a bunch of people to think ‘What if the people takes the power?’ and then everything will start going downhill…”
Honō: “Wait a minute...”
Honō's face then lights up with an amazing idea. He starts smiling. He takes a piece of paper and starts writing his idea. Lancer and Ross then started getting worried about him.
Lancer: “Sir Honō, what are you doing? And from where did you get that piece of paper?”
Honō: “It is quite simple, everything is quite simple! I know how to prevent that theoretical revolution to become literal, and it is all thanks to me!”
Ross: “Honō, now you got me confused, what do you mean it's all thanks to you?”
Honō then stops writing (and also smiling) and starts explaining.
Honō: “The people hated that Mad noble and wanted him dead, right?”
Ross and Lancer: “Yes.”
Honō: “Then the king executed him for treason, am I correct??”
Ross and Lancer: “Yeah”
Honō: “So obviously he would send someone that could solve all those problems, right?”
Ross: “Yeah.”
Lancer stops for a minute before saying something that Honō wasn't expecting.
Lancer: “Actually, the king doesn't know about the situation in this lands”
Honō: “...What.”
Lancer: “The Mad noble was only executed for treason really, yet the people believe that it was for all the thing he did.”
Honō: “Alright, I can work with that, first of all, is there a lot of unemployment?”
Lancer: “Yeah, since the previous noble raised the amount to be payed, the locals had to do a lot of staff cuts”
Honō: “Then the first thing that we shall do is solve the problem of the unemployment.”

Ross: “And what are you going to do?”
Honō: “Easy. We are going to do the first Industrial Revolution in this world.”
Lancer and Ross: “First Industrial what?”
Honō: “In my world, this was the moment in history when we transitioned to new manufacturing processes. But we are going to start BIG!”
Lancer: “Where do we start then?”
Honō: “What raw materials are available in these lands?”
Lancer: “Those would be wood, vegetables, meat and minerals, in fact, we are the no.1 mineral source in the kingdom.”
Honō: “That is perfect for this industrial revolution! So, what minerals do we have available?”
Lancer: “All, we even have mythril.”
Honō: “Alright, and how much?”
Lancer: “Does that matter in this lands?”
Honō: “Doesn’t it?” Honō says intrigued.
Lancer: “Don’t you know about how the caves work in this lands?”
Honō: “If you’re saying that, then there has to be something special in those caves.”
Lancer: “Every year, we host a festival to thank the gods and to have another year of prosperity. Thanks to that festival, every year the caves fill again with various minerals.”
Honō: “Really?”
Lancer: “Yes.”
Honō: “So you’re telling me that basically, I have all those minerals at my disposition?”
Lancer: “Yes.”
Honō: “Then let’s get started!”
Ross: “Now?”
Honō: “The earlier we start, the earlier the people will be grateful that I became the baron on this lands, and the thing more important than bare power is trust from the people, right?”
Ross: “I mean, you’re not wrong...”
Honō: “And the best thing is that I will have both!”
Ross: “Wait what?”
Honō: “Let’s have this conversation in the living room, i'm getting tired after standing up for so long.”
Lancer: “Should I go too?”
Honō: “Of course!”
After entering the living room (which was very luxurious indeed.) They kept discussing the matter of the Industrial Revolution. They kept talking for some time, and agreed one one thing.
Honō: “We don’t have anyone to build the factory...”
Lancer: “Indeed, whatever that is...”
Ross: “I would be convenient if someone came and helped us with this...”
In that same moment, a maid enters into the room.
Maid: “Mister Honō, there is a man that wants to talk with you.”
Honō: “Let him in.”
After the maid gets out of the room, Honō and Ross start speculating.
Honō: “Do you think…?”
Ross: “I don’t think so, it would be too convenient.”
Honō: “Wanna bet?”
A moment after Ross phrased that sentence, the unexpected guest reveals himself as a known from Honō.
Nick: “Kept you waiting huh?”
Honō: “Yo Nick, so what brings you here?”
Nick: “I heard that you’re now in charge of this lands, so I was wondering if you needed to build something.”
Honō: “Nice timing really, I need to build some things as soon as possible.”
Nick: “Well then, I got my team and I got the tools, so what do you want to build?”
Honō: “A factory, you will start building tomorrow, sounds right?”
Nick: “If I had came sooner, I would start right now!” Nick says laughing.
Honō: “Well then, I think this meeting has concluded. Want me to accompany you to the entrance?”
Nick: “Sure!”
After guiding Nick to the entrance, Honō comes back with a smile and looks at Ross.
Honō: “So, too convenient?”
Ross: “Oh shut up!”
Honō: “I’m joking!” He says while laughing.
Ross: “Anyway, what do you plan on doing with those factories?”
Honō: “Mass production of course.”
Ross: “Of what?”
Honō: “Of everything! Cloth, furniture, weapons, we are going to become a superpower! except for the atomic bombs, I don’t want anything to do with that for now.”
Lancer: “Atomic what?”
Honō: “Oh, don’t worry about that!”
Lancer: “But what is that ‘atomic’ thing”
Ross: “You shouldn't worry about that for now.”
Lancer: “Alright...” he says, still confused.
Honō: “Anyway, I feel hungry, is the dinner ready?”
Lancer: “Yes, please follow me.”
Lancer guided Honō and Ross to the dining room, and let me tell you, if that wasn’t luxurious then I don’t know what is, chandeliers in the ceiling, a large table made of oak, and polished at a point that you could see your reflection in it, and it was decorated by silk tablecloth and fancy needlework. In the table was served a feast worthy of a high-class party.
Honō: “Even I am impressed by this.”
Ross: “Yeah. Is this only for the two of us?”
Lancer: “Unless you want to eat alone, we will accompany you in this dinner”
Honō: “And who would want to eat alone? Please, help yourselves, I love company!”
After eating with the maids and butlers from the mansion, Honō and Ross are guided to their bedroom, the contents of it are a King Size bed, various wardrobes and mirrors, and filled with candles, and each candle gave a strong light. in the ceiling there are hanging a pair of chandeliers, but this chandeliers had something special in them.
Honō: “What is that thing they have inside?”
Lancer: “Magic stones.”
Honō: “Magic what?”
Lancer: “Just like magic armor and weapons, this magic stones feed from a mana source and can be controlled with simple magic manipulation, even a townsfolk could do it”
Honō: “Thanks for the tip Lancer.”
Lancer: “No worries, have a good night.”
Honō: “You too.”
After Lancer left, Honō and Ross started unpacking their clothes into the various cabinets in the room and their accessories on the nightstand and, after finishing sorting all of their things, they took turns to use the bathroom, each one took a bath and brush their teeth, and when they finished they go to bed together, they only realized what have they done when they were looking one another.
Honō: “Do you want to move?”
Ross: “Why would I have to move? Shouldn’t you be a little bit more chivalrous and let me sleep here?”
Honō: “But I don’t want to...”
Ross: “Me neither...”
Honō: “Let’s do this, this is my side and that is your side, agreed?”
Ross: “Agreed.”
With that settled, they slept comfortably for the rest of they night, unaware on they problems are coming tomorrow.
