A man in a cloak watches the proceedings from the sidelines, coldly staring up at the chief.
"Are you alright Mooncaster?" he asks one hand touching the glinting dangling book at his side.
"Y-Yeah...it was just a...." he goes silent unsure of how to describe what he saw in the vision.
"A vision?" he asks kindly.
"Vision?" Martha asks her hostile eyes watching this all.
"Visions are gifts meant to show us the way...it's sort of a guide to the world and more often than not, a guide to the bearer's destiny" the chief responds to her.
"Sso...he can ssee the future?" the snake asks.
"Yeah...how clear was it?" Kuro asks looking at Mooncaster worriedly.
"Very clear...clearer than it's ever been and yet also more...cloudy" he responds, "There was fire...and rubble, screaming voices and a man saying something about a book becoming his."

"A book? Which book?" the cat asks confusedly
"Obviously it must mean the book of realities" Vlad rolls his eyes "Everyone knows it's the most valuable book in our home...bet you the human is working with this unknown man to destroy us all, just like humans in the old tales did" he smirks coldly at Martha who blatantly ignores him.
"Enough!" Mooncaster snarls at Vlad "Martha might be different than the rest of us, but this is her home same as us and that makes her one of us...keep barking and see what my bite feels like"
Vlad opens his mouth to retort only to be interrupted by the chief "Did you see where this event took place?"
"......no, I couldn't make out where it happened, just that there was rubble and burning" he admits.
The chief nods before turning to look at those assembled "Everyone is to head directly home. Orphans are to go straight to an orphanage or a friend's house for the night" he orders, and everyone disperses. Kuro rushes over to Martha and grabs her wrist.
"You heard the chief. You'd hate staying at the orphanage for the night so come stay at Mooncaster's place for the night...he has enough room that you can still be your usual loner self if you wish" Kuro says not really giving her a choice as he drags her along. Mooncaster shakes his head and starts to follow before he stops and looks right at where the cloaked man had been standing mere seconds ago. He shakes his head and follows after the two, listening to Kuro rambling about the food while Martha just glowers although she seems willing enough to go along with them since she won't have to interact with the two of them much.
