"So...your..." Malada touches Martha's shoulder "Martha right?"

"....Yes" she answers eyeing this girl who smiles gently forward instead of at Martha.

"What are you?" she asks "I get the gruff sounding one is a wolf from the howling he did, the rough sounding one is a crocodile and one has really soft fur on their tail so possibly a fox plus there's another, small childish sounding one that hisses a lot like a snake."

"You got all that from the sound of our voices?" Martha asks, amazed.

Malada smiles slightly "When one sense has disappeared your other senses pick up the slack...since I don't have any sight, my hearing and smell are much stronger than others by the way you smell lovely...like fresh roses!"

Martha stays quiet for a bit before asking "So what do the other's smell like?"

"The soft furred one smells like a mixture of fresh flowers and death. Mr rough voice smells like dirty water while the childish one smells like earthy scents. The gruff one smells like...catnip maybe...it's a scent that is both intoxicating and dangerous" she blushes as she admits this all.

Martha eyes her for a bit before deciding to answer her earlier question "I'm human..."

"That must have been hard for you...being born different from others. Everyone must have been so cruel to you..." she whispers sadly "I'm sorry for the cruelty of some"

"....It's not your fault" Martha counters feeling a small connection to this friendly blind cat.

"True but someone should still apologize for the cruelty of this world...might as well be me to start"

Martha smiles and the two girls continue to talk amongst each other as the group heads toward the mountain peaks where the mighty wyverns live. Eventually at about halfway through a mountainy forest, they overhear the sounds of fighting.

"What do you think that is?" Mooncaster asks.

Kuro touches his eye feeling the familiar pang of his magic and has a bad feeling about following the sounds "I don't think we should go that w..." he begins but Mooncaster is already rushing off in the direction of the fighting. They all chase after him and find themselves staring at a wyvern fighting a giant monkey.

"Heh! You think you can beat me, Vern the Mighty! That's laughable! Nothing can beat me!" Vern, as the wyvern so helpfully announces herself, laughs.

"You cocky little bird!" the monkey snarls as it goes to punch her but it's left itself open to a counter attack as she jumps flying right over it and barely touches the ground before she's already moving to attack it from behind it. She easily wins and smirks posing like a super powerful warrior.

"Wow..." Aussie says his mouth falling open at the amazingness of this fighting warrior.

"Wooo...that wass...sso cool!!!!" Tim says practically bouncing up and down.

"You were in my vision!" Mooncaster says.

Kuro however is touching his eye, ears turning black as the purple string circles him.

"This place..." Malada says sadly "It sounds...dead and cursed"

They all look around. It's a destroyed village with a run-down temple in the middle. Everything is colored black, as if burned.

Mooncaster looks right at the temple doors to see the human woman from his visions staring up with tears in her eyes. They all can see it as Mooncaster's magic has strengthened to the point where others could see his visions.

"Please! Stop! Fox you must stop! If you do this...you'll never be the same! Please!" the woman shouts up. Bodies of animals appear all around them, all kinds of animals but only five of them, the five that are closest to the human woman, are struggling to stand and staring up at the sky.

They all look up to see a battered fox absorbing a dark evil gas-type of thing as it growls "If Wolf does it, the power of visions will be corrupted! I have to do this...to save you!" the fox growls as it screams in pain, it's fur turning pure black.

"FOX!!!" the woman shouts before she suddenly whispers "Bind the soul only the goddess can do such a thing...if the seal breaks you must bind the soul"

The vision ends and Mooncaster speaks "W-What was that all about?"

It's at this point the purple string shatters as Kuro's fur turns pure black and a blast of magic sends everyone slamming hard into the temple walls.

The mystery man appears catching Martha as everyone stares at Kuro who has lost all control of his dark magic.
