Four days later, the trio was back in the lunchroom, but no one was drinking coffee or tea.
Myco's eyes were red. "OK, we have a problem."
Mac looked at him. "You too?"
Myco nodded. "I've been having nightmares. I keep seeing the mycelial networks spreading everywhere, consuming everything in their path."
Myna's face was pale. "I've been having similar thoughts. The more I think about it, the more I realize how little we know about PB-78's true potential."
Mac shook his head. "I've been thinking about the lizard. I don't know what happened to it, but I have a feeling it's not good. And I have this feeling that we're only scratching the surface of what this mushroom is capable of."

The trio sat in silence for a moment, contemplating the implications of their research.
Myco spoke up. "We need to be careful with this. We need to make sure that we're not playing with fire. We need to do more research, more testing, and be more cautious with our findings."
Myna nodded. "I agree. We need to be responsible with our knowledge and not let it fall into the wrong hands."
Mac nodded. "I'm with you. We need to be very, very careful with this. We need to make sure that we're not unleashing something we can't control." He hesitated. "We need help. Maybe if we talked to our mentors..."
Myco stopped him. "No. Let's not get the AIs involved."
The trio sat in silence for a moment longer, before Myco spoke again.
"Let's go back to the lab, and figure out how to bring Eliza into this."
The trio left the lunchroom and headed back to the lab.
