That night, after dinner, I let my parents know I was going to cultivate outside for a few hours or until he finished cultivating all the elements I could, whichever came first since I had to go to bed to be ready for the dungeon dive tomorrow. They said ok and would watch me for their curiosity. I just shrugged and accepted. As soon as I went outside, I found a spot randomly and sat down on the grass Indian style. It was a beautiful night, clear skies. There was a slight breeze and the temperature felt comfortable. No humidity at all. i made sure I was comfortable and closed my eyes. I started running the elemental technique for the second time. Even though this was the second time, it was only the first time I would be cultivating with it. I was really looking forward to the effectiveness this technique had on my combat power. As soon as it was running, I immediately felt the elements surrounding me. Sure enough, the technique was great. multiple elements surrounded me in droves. Majority of it consisted of the darkness elements. It was glowing black specks in the air. Next came the star element. They were yellow white specs. The other elements I sensed were wind, and earth. As soon as I recognized all the elements that were around I started.
I began with the darkness element. I focused on the dark specs of light and used the technique to draw them into my body. It was a bit slow at first, but after a few moments, the absorption sped up. When they entered my body, the lights spread throughout my body and vanished. When they vanished, I sensed a small surge of cold energy course through me. It felt gloomy. However I pushed on. It must be due to the nature of the element. I continued on for about 10 minutes, whish was when I couldn't draw in any more lights. I guess that element reached the limit at level 1. As soon as I realized that, I stopped focusing on the dark element and switched to the star element. I used the same process that I used with the darkness. Everything went and felt the same except for when my body absorbed it. the energy felt hot this time, and it looked like the inside of my body was glowing brightly. This element also took 10 minutes before I reached the limit. Without letting up, I went on to cultivate the earth and wind elements, each taking 10 minutes to do. i took a guess that for each level, it would take that amount of time, so as I level up, it will take longer and longer to reach the max for the elements I cultivate. It would also increase with each new element I cultivate. This cultivation will take a significant portion of training time in the future.
After I finished, I got up and stretched. I noticed that I got a few notifications while I cultivated. I was going to read them but decided to wait until tomorrow after I finished the morning session when I cultivated fire and light. I guess my parents went to bed as they were not there when I finished, so I went straight up to my room and laid down. I was asleep within minutes. today was truly exhausting. However, I felt a sense of accomplishment as I had taken my first steps to becoming stronger. it was exciting.
it only felt like a second before i woke up to my parents yelling from downstairs telling me to get up for breakfast. I stumbled out of bed and got dressed. I went downstairs and headed for the table where breakfast was waiting. eggs and bacon were waiting to be stuffed down our throats. As were were eating, I asked my parents if we could delay the trip to the dungeon so I could cultivate and make a skill so I could be as ready as possible. They agreed and said to think carefully on the skill since I could only make 1 before level 5 and I had to have a sufficient ability to fight. I told them I already selected the skill I wanted to create and they left it alone. After finishing, I tried to help them clean up but they insisted that I should get to training so that we could leave earlier so I had no choice but to do so. I exited the house and sat down in the same place I was at last night. using the same process as the night before I drew in and absorbed the fire and light elements in the air. The fire felt scorching hot and ferocious as it coursed through me while the light felt refreshing and nurturing. That confirmed what I was thinking. Each element had its own characteristics and felt different when absorbed. With 10 minutes for each one, it took 20 minutes. When it was done, i got up and continued to ignore the notifications I got. it was time to create my first skill.

Yesterday while i was training, I thought about the first skill that I wanted to create. i decided to create a long range attack so I could eliminate enemies from a long range to reduce my stress when fighting multiple enemies at once. plus I figured that my physical attack and agility was pretty good so I did not have to worry to much on the melee aspect of it. I closed my eyes and imagined holding my hand out in front of me and controlling my mana so it went through my arm and out my palm that face outward, away from me. I imagined it forming small .22 caliber bullets and them firing at an imaginary enemy and it piercing through like a real bullet. after I got the imagery down, I opened my eyes and started to transfer the thought to reality. The mana sprang up from my abdomen, went to my arms, traveled down and into my palm which I held up with my palm outwards. the mana exited the palm and rapidly formed a .22 caliber bullet. As soon as it was formed, I fired it. Even though it was not as fast as a real bullet, it was still pretty quick. With a flash of blue, it pierced through a tree, making a clean hole about 6 inches deep.
As soon as the skill was completed, I saw a flash of a notification in my vision. I smiled knowing I managed to complete it. Without any hesitation I opened up all my notifications that built up since training yesterday. I started with the cultivation of last night and this morning.
Cultivation results:

I then opened up my stats to see how much I had improved with 1 days worth of training and cultivation.

In just 1 day, my CP had improved from 106 to 145, an improvement of 39 points. Not too shabby for a day of training. After that I closed out those screens and brought up the notification for his skill creation.
Skill Created: Bullet
Bullet: Level 1: Shoot a bullet of mana from the palm dealing 50% magic damage. Ignores 10% of defense. Infuse elements for increased effects. Cast speed: Shoot 1 bullet / sec.
Cost: 1 mana/ shot
Reading the new skill creation, I smiled. It had the added effect of ignore defense which was. great. I was sure the stats of the skill would get even better as I leveled it up. Plus I can't wait to infuse my elements into it to see what would happen. I was looking forward to this dungeon dive more and more. Clapping my hands together in a very satisfied mood, I walked inside, ready for my first dungeon adventure in this new world.
