“Gather the second squad. We’re going on a trip.” Miyuki ordered.

“Understood.” Uchiha Daika nodded. “Clan leader, where are we headed?”

“Of course, we’re going to the Shimura clan to arrest Danzo’s accomplices.” Miyuki said.

“Just like that? We’re going to arrest them outright?” Uchiha Daika asked incredulously, though there was a hint of excitement in his eyes. The Uchiha clan didn’t have the best relationship with the Shimura clan.

“Can’t call it arresting,” Miyuki smiled. “Danzo has already been proven to have taken action against fellow villagers and desecrated the First Hokage’s remains. I happened to find evidence of the Shimura clan’s financial dealings with him while I was in the Root base.”

With that, Miyuki pulled out a scorched ledger from a sealing scroll.

“So, we’re just inviting them to come back for an investigation.”

Miyuki’s words caused Yamanaka Kaze , still bound to the interrogation chair, to widen his eyes. He clearly remembered that all the records of Root’s transactions had been destroyed.
