Erin groans as he tries to get up. All he can feel is his head throbbing, however something was peculiar about it. It was as if he can feel the pain shooting up in waves instead of just a regular headache; it was much more in-depth.
‘What the hell happened…’ He tries to remember the feeling he had before knocking out.

‘Oh my Gaban! W-what is this?’ The information wasn’t actually displayed through his vision, but just floated around his train of thought, almost like he was infinitely reciting everything at the same time. Erin quickly got up and started shaking his head in an attempt to push away the information in his mind.
-Computational core #1 detects strenuous movement on injured brain-
-lowering serotonin, norepinephrine, adrenaline levels... increasing dopamine levels-
After that message Erin felt strangely calm and relaxed.
‘Oh wow… this feels like when I went to the dentist and they had to drug me in order to work.’
‘Crap, looks like I released too much dopamine…’
‘Shit, now there’s voices in my head, And it’s talking about poop! Hahahaha!.’
‘I’m not a voice, just a thought. Hold on I’m going to lower the dopamine levels, don’t panic after I’m done.’
‘Ok Mr. Voice!’ Erin swung his legs on the side of his bed and shook his head like a child for a minute, then gradually regained focus.
‘Am I going insane?’ Erin becomes worried, but doesn’t panic like before.
‘No you’re not crazy, you just don’t understand what’s happening yet. I forgot how stupid we can be when our minds aren’t directly linked to the soul.’
‘What are you talking about? And why does it feel so strange to talk to you.’ He felt like he was having a conversation with himself, yet he couldn’t control what the other talker said.

Body Functions: 98%
Power Manifestation: 10%
‘That’s what I’m talking about. Right now your thought process is still limited to your brain, unlike the rest of ours which is working at max capacity within the soul. Oh and I am Core #1. I was automatically allocated to work on unconscious body functions.’
‘Soul? Cores? What the hell is going on?’
‘It’s annoying to not directly send information to you. You’ll understand once you move within the soul; in other words when your power has completely manifested. Meanwhile, I’ll slowly explain stuff, but for now look at the time.’
“Huh?” Erin looks at the time on his phone and sees that it’s almost time for school.
“Crap why didn’t my parents wake me up?’ Erin quickly gets up and puts on a shirt.
‘They left early for work. You were supposed to take your sister to school, however you couldn’t wake up and she left after calling you a Lazy Sloth.’
“Fuck I can handle lazy, but did she have to call me sloth? It wasn’t my fault either way.” Erin skips brushing his teeth and just rinses with mouth wash. After grabbing his phone and backpack he rushes outside.
-Bzzt- (Sound of door lock closing)
‘Crap I’m so hungry and my head is still hurting. I feel like I’m about to lose consciousness again.’ Erin hasn’t ate since yesterday morning, and his body isn’t in top shape either.
‘This weakling… I hope you know that we’re definitely going to train our body. I looked at our stats and they’re so sad that I might switch places with Core #2 out of shame.’
‘There’s more than one of you?’ How crazy would it be if there were multiple minds in one body?
‘Yeah, but they aren't allocated to the body, and are just lazing around right now. I can only talk to you because I have control over your subconscious. Once you move into the soul we can all communicate with each other.’
‘Can’t you remove the feeling of hunger for now? It’s Unnecessary.’ Erin’s stomach is making nonstop noises that can go for miles.
‘I can stop the muscle contractions, but the feeling of emptiness will remain. You should really get something to eat or you might die.’
Erin ignores the threat and heads straight into the school as the warning bell rings. There’s still quite a bit of people walking around so he stops worrying. Some people don’t even bother and just keep eating.
‘I might be lazy, but I have a perfect attendance record, I refuse to let years of work go to waste!’ Up ahead a group of kids walk towards the trash can with food plates in their hands.
‘Look that guy is about to throw away a whole bagel. Take it from his hands!’
Before Erin even thinks about what he’s doing, his hunger takes over and he swipes the food away before it lands in the trash. This would usually be embarrassing enough to dye Erin's face red and leave him stupid, but strangely it didn’t.
“No need to waste food buddy, many people are starving in the world.” Erin keeps walking forward without even looking back.
‘Haha what the heck was that? I can never converse with people like that.’
‘I prevented the overflow of blood and adrenaline to your head. There’s so many faults with the human body since it wasn’t built for modern society.’
Erin, with a bagel in hand, sits in his anatomy seat as the bell rings. Usually he would be too shy to eat in front of other people, but today his life is more important. Without even spreading the cream cheese evenly, he just slaps it on and starts stuffing it in his mouth.
“Damn Erin, are your parent’s starving you?” A boy in sports clothes starts laughing as he looks back at Erin.
“No, it’s just your mom was too tired from last night to make me food.”
“OOOOOOOOOOOO!!!” The class goes crazy as it laughs at the boy in sports clothes. He awkwardly turns away from Erin.
‘Haha bastard! I feel immortal without that stupid shyness getting in the way!’ Erin laughs while eating the bagel.
‘It’s satisfying for me too.’
Soon the period ends and Erin walks out satisfied.
‘So what kind of powers do I have? Can I fly?’
‘I would be satisfied with just having a super intelligent Core to support me, but I guess that’s not enough for you.’
‘Nonsense, I freakin love you!’ Erin tries hard to avoid making gestures while walking to his next class.
‘Well there’s not much you can do right now since you haven’t completely manifested. Your abilities are too complicated to be described as a power. But just having a source energy of 10 makes you better than other people. I don’t know what it is exactly, but the increase in body performance is insane! With just a little bit of training you might surpass human limits.’
‘I have super strength? Actually, it was a bit weird how I didn’t get tired from rushing to school. I must make some experiments.’
‘Yeah numbers are stupid. It’s better to test it out yourself.’
Erin went into his second period, Ceramics. He doesn’t know most of the people and his table is filled with crackheads.
Looking around he see’s the water fountain next to the door like always. The ceiling was twice as high and three times larger than a normal classroom. There was dust everywhere and some clay chodes were hanging from the roof. The teacher was at the corner spinning around on his chair as he looks at his phone.
‘As expected…’
Up ahead Erin sees someone sitting on his seat with the most retarded smile anyone can ever imagine.
“How many zens did you take today Johnny?” Erin went ahead and sat on John’s seat since he was sitting on his. ‘This bastard sits on MY chair? Good thing it’s easy to manipulate him when he’s cracked out.’
“Who the fuck said you can sit on my seat?” John’s face did a complete cycle and looked as if someone just killed his family.
“Alright, here you can have it back. Just chill.” Erin backs off and gives him back his chair as he sits on his own. After sitting down John looks around the classroom in a very urgent matter like a chipmunk, then suddenly swipes his head back to take a dab. (smoke it up)
“HYOOOOHH” The noise of a mystical animal sounds out as John lets out the smoke.
The rest of the table members have arrived by now, and the girl that sits next to Erin starts laughing.
John stares at the girl seriously than takes out his phone. He fiddles around with it till his serious face turns into a surprised one.
“No way! Holy shit! My momma, I got a freakin legendary Princess out of a free chest!” John starts jumping like a monkey as he shows everyone around him.
‘Clash Royale… such a deadly game.’ Erin knows multiple people who have gone on a rampage due to it, some have even broken their phone. From the locker underneath, he takes out his clay project which he’s been working on for a week now and starts molding its eyes. Suddenly, John grabs a heavy slab of clay and throws it on top of Edvins project.
The girl to the side takes in a big breath and looks shocked, the rest of the people start laughing.
“I gotta Princess bitch!” John starts hitting his chest like a gorilla as he laughs maniacally.
Erin looks at John with eagle eyes instead of his usual sloth eyes.
