Chapter 192: Spy among us

Chapter 192: Spy among us

The Lumina kingdom was an old and prosperous human kingdom, and they were also regarded as one of the strongest kingdoms in paradise thanks to their special swordsmanship which was passed down through multiple generations of the royal family…

However, occasionally they would also teach talented people even if they don't have a royal bloodline, those people tend to serve as the protectors of the royal family.

Leon is one such case as he was trained since he was a kid to become the next royal guards' captain because of his loyalty and talent!

But as they say, Man plans, God's laugh… And catastrophe indeed hit this kingdom out of nowhere as the brother of their great king decided to initiate a revolt. Surprisingly, he succeeded and turned this land into one full of poverty and fear under his rule…

In the throne room of the Lumina kingdom, the new king Garan was currently sitting on his throne with a contemplative look on his face until a man with long black hair and carrying a sword on his waist opened the giant gate of the throne and walked in alone.

"Mirka, what brought you here? Do you have any news on where those traitors went?" King Garan spoke with an imposing voice and Mirka, the leader of the royal guards and the man that helped him claim the throne, as well as Leon's teacher and Marcus's Father bowed slightly and said

"Our spies among the knight pirates secretly delivered some news that's hard to believe, the situation is going out of hand…"

If Leon, Eden, or Marcus were to hear that there were spies among their ranks… It will probably be a huge blow to their morale, yet that's how it seemed, and the spy appeared proficient enough to escape their detection which meant that he was highly skilled… In the end, they were dancing in the palm of this tyrant king the whole time!

Garan paused slightly with a surprised look before he asked "Why? Do you think the spy can betray us?"

"That's impossible considering my relationship with him, but the news is simply hard to believe…" Mirka replied confidently showing complete trust in the spy...

"Speak, what is it that made you reach this conclusion?" Garan asked coldly and Mirka recollected his thoughts slightly before he let out a sigh and said "It seems like they somehow convinced a Warlord and an Admiral to help them reclaim the Kingdom"

Garan froze slightly at the mention of this news before he burst out laughing and said "HAHAHAHA, How ironic, the same people they managed to gather to help will be the ones that deal with them…"

"Indeed" Mirka responded with a melancholic look on his face before he bowed slightly and left the throne room, and right after, a den den Mushi that was sitting all this time beside King Garan started ringing while staring directly at him, and along with it, a man appeared from the darkness wearing a full knights armor and said "I think you should pick it up"

Garan stared at the knight calmly before he nodded and picked it up with a cold look on his face…

2 days after Yuki and the Strawhats disappeared, the black pearl have been sailing at an astonishing speed shocking even Aokiji who kept complimenting his crew's powers… But as he approached him again, it wasn't to talk about the crew

"Oy, I learned about the situation in the Lumina kingdom, something indeed seems fishy about the king that ascended to the throne" Aokiji spoke to Yuki who was lying on his back on the bow of the ship and admiring the view of the sea with a relaxed look on his face.

Hearing what Aokiji just said, Yuki couldn't help but let out a long yawn before he said "I already know that, that's why we need to investigate many things once we get there to understand the real story"

Aokiji stared at Yuki silently before he shook his head and surprised him by saying "we might not even be able to interfere with what's happening there"

Yuki couldn't help but jolt to his feet and stare at Aokiji curiously with countless thoughts coursing through his mind, but before he could say anything, Dariun came running at him with a den den Mushi in his hand and said "Master! This weird snail is ringing and Kayle-san told me to bring it to you"

"Oh, thanks buddy, I'm glad you didn't eat it" Yuki replied with a slight smile and patted Dariun gently on the head making the little kid smile in happiness before he ran away again, as for the snail, it shivered slightly at the mention of getting eaten and almost stuttered on its ringing, while Aokiji simply admired Yuki's restrain of emotions!

*P-Puru P-Puru Puru*

"Hello there, who's calling me?" Yuki spoke calmly after putting the den den Mushi on his lap and picked up the speaker, and a familiar voice echoed from it

"Yuki, you are to refrain from interfering in what's happening in the kingdom of Lumina and change course immediately"

Yuki's face darkened slightly before he asked "Sengoku, what's the meaning of this?"

An eerie silence consumed the air before Sengoku's voice echoed again, and Yuki could tell that he was gritting his teeth as he said "It's something beyond my control, a celestial Dragon has a hand in what's happening there... I'm sure you understand the implications of what could happen if you interfere"

"Chhh, KChhh… Can't hear you, Did you say a Celestial Dragon is in danger in Lumina? I will save him don't worry… CHHH KCHHHH guess you've got bad reception on your end, I will hang up for now and call you later after I finish with this heroic mission"

"Wait, you craz… CLANG" Before Sengoku could say anything else, Yuki directly hang up the den den Mushi and summoned Yurei to his side…

Meanwhile, Aokiji was staring at Yuki with his jaw slightly open in shock before he got startled by a voice echoing behind him

"Boss, need something from me?" Yurei spoke eerily while floating in the air above them and it creeped the hell out of Aokiji as he couldn't sense him at all!

"Catch" Yuki threw the den den Mushi toward Yurei and said "make no signal come or go between us and the marines for a while and speed up toward Lumina"

"Humm, that's easy, sure" Yurei, replied calmly and gently stroked the terrified Den Den Mushi with a scary smile on his face before he used his Phantom phasing powers on it to stop any signals from going in or out of their ship!

"You are crazy" Was all Aokiji could say while staring at Yuki who returned to laying on his back with a carefree smile on his face and he felt slightly envious of his freedom…

At the same time at marine ford, Sengoku tried calling both Aokiji and Yuki but he couldn't get hold of any of them and he couldn't help but mutter "Did the reception really become bad all of a sudden or did that bastard Yuki do something?"

Vice admiral Tsuru who was sitting in front of him calmly sipped on some tea and said "I'm sure he's behind this, it seems like he doesn't care about receiving the wrath of those spoiled idiots"

"I don't care if he gains their wrath or not, but if they order a buster call on the kingdom of Lumina, countless innocent lives will be lost in vain! We need to stop him, I hope Aokiji realizes this as well" Sengoku was truly angry, but it clouded his judgment, and the calm Tsuru eventually woke him up to reality and said

"That kid isn't an idiot, he's planned everything to his advantage"

Sengoku's face darkened slightly before he asked "What do you mean Tsuru-chan?"

"Garp's grandson has already made it to water 7, and Niko Robin has already made contact with CP9… Do you think the situation there will be resolved peacefully? If that guy is as reckless as his father and grandpa, it will probably blow to unimaginable degrees, and Yuki is planning to take advantage of that"

Sengoku's heart shivered slightly when he heard this and he couldn't help but ask Tsuru "What makes you think that this is the case?"

Tsuru paused slightly and recalled the silly smirk on Yuki's face that never seemed to reach his deep and eerie green eyes before she said "My guts are telling me so… "

"If that's really the case, let's just hope Kuzan will keep him in check… We will also need to keep an eye on Strawhat Luffy just in case"

"Mmm" Tsuru nodded slightly and sipped her tea again before she wondered 'Just where did such a scary individual emerge from… His crew as well is abnormal from how Kuzan described them…'

Yet no matter how much she thought about Yuki, she simply couldn't unveil the mysterious fog covering him…

Not long after the call from Sengoku, Yuki's crew increased their speed and in just a few hours, they managed to reach the Kingdom of Lumina… and the first thing that came to mind when they stared at it from the distance was Bright! Too Bright!

All the roofs of the buildings were built with a special white stone that reflected light creating a unique scenery, and in the middle of it all was a giant palace… However, despite how beautiful this scene was, Yuki and the rest of his crew understood deep down, that this island was plagued with a huge darkness.

Especially Maou; he could feel the despair and negative energy in the air even from miles away like a giant ominous cloud covering the island!

"Finally, we are back" Eden who was sailing with them on the black pearl couldn't help but clench her hands and mutter while staring at her home, but Yuki suddenly surprised them when he jumped from the bow of the ship and approached them

"Yuki-san… Is something wrong?" Eden was slightly confused by his actions but Yuki just smiled lightly and approached Leon before he said

"Now that we are this close to the island, I've been meaning to ask you something"

Leon seemed slightly perplexed and he asked with genuine surprise on his face "Sure, ask me anything?"

"I'm glad you are so cooperative, then I will get straight to the point" Yuki clapped his hands with a happy smile on his face, but everyone who truly knew him instantly realized that someone was going to get fucked….

And they weren't wrong as they heard Yuki say eerily "Can you please tell us the true situation on the island, Spy-san"

An eerie silence instantly covered the ship… This was beyond their expectations, and it was especially true for Eden!
