Chapter 384

Chapter 384

“What is her problem?” I muttered to myself as I rubbed my temple. I watched her run down the hallway and she got into the bathroom and slammed the door shut.

“You go… I will be coming back soon,” she yelled out to me.

Why does it feel like she is chasing me away? I sighed.

My mood is already spoiled. I had thought she was pregnant, but the doctor asked us to come in a week.

“Why can’t she just tell me if she is pregnant or not… Why is that so hard to do?”

I bumped my fist against the wall as I grunted, “Fuck.”

I have been craving those little pups for so long, and now I…

I paused.

As I stared into space. Well the doctor never said she wasn’t pregnant, she just asked that we come back in a week time, that

means…

“Aurora might be pregnant,” I thought out loud.

I turned to the direction she had gone and I smirked, “Before she would get back out… I will prepare something special for

her.”

I rushed down the hallway and on my way out of the cottage, I bumped into Miles, he greeted me and immediately walked past me and went inside.

I held my gaze on him, “I don’t know why I don’t trust this boy.”

I don’t trust any of them. Alina, Rowan, and all… all who had joined the rebellion against the pack.

I only spoke in favour of Alina this morning, because I felt sorry for her condition… I don’t even know if what she was saying was the truth, but Warrick should fix his problem.

Why would he go around kissing a girl that is not his mate in the first place.

I snorted as I entered the pack house and rushed to my room.

Tonight I am going to take Aurora on a romantic dinner, inside town. She would use the free time to relax and then the baby that might be in her would grow healthily, in love and peace.

I got inside my bathroom as I freshened up. I put on my clothes and I wore a nice perfume.

By the time I was done, I looked up and saw it was past thirty minutes. “What is keeping Aurora?” I asked out loud as I raised a brow.

“Maybe she had gone to the office to work,” I sighed as I walked out and got to her office.

“Aurora?” I called as I got in there, “Ohh…” I whispered as I got in to see Evander and the kids in the office. “Hey kids… where is your mother?”

“Daddy, where is mummy?”

We looked at each other in shock.“I thought she would be in the

office.”

Sera shook her head, “We thought so too, but when we came here we saw only uncle Evandar, so we thought we would both wait for her here.”

I ran my hand through my hair. What is keeping her?

Hasn’t she left the hospital cottage? I better go find her.

I turned and was about to leave when Trsitan raced up to me

and took my hand.

“Dad, don’t leave… come help us solve this puzzle.”

I grunted as I turned to him, “Champ I need to go get your mother, she needs to get ready and go out for dinner with me.” noveldrama

Sera frowned as she stomped her feet. “But dad… we need your help to solve this puzzle, we came to ask mum to do it… but she isn’t here and Uncle Evander had no idea how to solve it.”

I looked up at Evander and he shrugged and looked away, I rolled my tongue in the insides of my checks. What’s in a kid’s puzzle that he can’t solve.

“Fine,” I groaned, as I walked to the desk, I saw the puzzle on it.

I gulped. “This is not a kids puzzle, this is a fucking adult puzzle.” I growled through gritted teeth.

“Do it dad, this doesn’t take mum five minutes,” Tristan winced as I stood there looking at the puzzle.

“Don’t trouble him… you know dad is not as bright as mum is, give him some time,” Sera added.

I turned to them and raised a brow, “Oh really?” I grunted.

Evander burst out in laughter and as I turned to him with at glare, he coughed and straightened his face.

“Better for you,” I growled as I picked the first piece. My gaze darted to the window as I looked at the sky.

It was getting dark, I needed to get Aurora and take her out for dinner.

I rolled my eyes as I looked back down at the puzzle, everything was just going so badly for me today.. First I had a headache and I had to go take some drugs.

Then I met with Aurora who was complaining of how she was

feeling, and then the unsuccessful pregnancy test and now this… when I thought I will take Aurora out.

I wiped my lips and ran through the puzzle hurriedly, I was almost halfway done now.

“Wow… Dad is good… you’ll see, he will beat mum’s record,” Tristan cheered and Sera rolled her eyes.

“No matter who wins, I’ll still be proud of them both–they’re my parents, remember?”

“Done,” I breathed as I picked my phone in front of the desk.

“Wow…” the kids cheered with their eyes wide open. Tristan. walked to the table and he tried to touch it but he tripped and

hit it.

The puzzle scattered and they both turned to look at me with wide eyes.

Hell no… I am not doing that again.

“See you later, kids,” I said as I darted out of the room, not waiting to hear what they wanted to say.

I reached out of the pack house and I walked hurriedly towards the cottage to reach the hospital. As I got closer, I saw Aurora, she stood with her back turned to me as she spoke with

someone.

Who was that?

I wondered as I walked closer to her. She shifted and I saw who

she was talking to.

“Miles?” I called softly. “Why would she be talking to him?”
