In an instant, Austin seemed to be dragged into a small world of his own.
The noisy, chaotic sounds around them faded away, leaving only Austin calmly gazing at General Zod, who was still talking eloquently on the screen.
''So, Is this DC's Movie Universe?'' Austin furrowed his brows deeply, his heart filled with mixed feelings.
Generally speaking, movie universes are much safer than comic or animation universes. Because of the real people and the high cost of special effects, most movie versions of the superhero worlds will be 'weakened' to make the characters far less terrifying than in the comics.
However, the DC's Movie Universe was clearly an exception.
From the movie's performance, facing those 'monsters' inside this world, Austin doesn't think he has any chance of resisting. It should be known that in the comics, Captain Boomerang*, an ordinary person, can still have a fight with the Flash, and even Captain Boomerang of the Arrow Universe* can slightly threaten the Green Arrow* and the Flash.
But in the Movie Universe, Captain Boomerang, the notorious ordinary person, met the Flash and was taken out in seconds.
So, given that even the Flash didn't have the ability to confront Superman head-on, and ordinary people were basically instantly killed in front of the Flash, it was enough to see how terrifying the villains who could go hand-to-hand against Superman were in this world.
Not to mention Austin himself, even with the addition of Quicksilver Pietro, Austin probably wouldn't be able to completely guarantee his own safety.
General Zod's battle with Superman almost destroyed half of Metropolis’ city area. The aftermath of that level of battle could kill crowds of people. Even Batman had to 'obediently' watch from below. How could ordinary people intervene?
Besides, this universe is far from being as beautiful as imagined. Just like the other DC universes, this shitty place still can't escape the fate of the reboot.
If he remembers correctly, this scene happening at this moment should be the plot inside Superman - Man of Steel, where General Zod spent 50 years coming to Earth in order to find the genetic engineering that holds all the genetic samples from Krypton, just to find Superman.
In this storyline, Superman's father injected all the gene samples and reserves of Krypton into Superman's body when Superman was born, and sent him to Earth. And this was also the fundamental reason that attracted General Zod to start a fight with Earth.
"It looks like we need to find a way to leave Metropolis as soon as possible." Austin soon came up with a countermeasure. Then, ignoring the shock and fear of the people around him because of General Zod's appearance, he turned and walked towards the hotel.
Since he was already in the universe he was currently in, there was no need to be in a particular hurry to gather information. Overall, as the first step of the DC Cinematic Universe's works, this universe was still very safe at this point in the timeline.
Anyway, General Zod would be dealt with by Superman. Austin only needed to leave this place as soon as possible. Their fight wouldn't affect him.
Although Darkseid* would appear in the future, and there was a high probability that this planet would be destroyed by Darkseid, then restarted by the Flash traveling through timeline, that was still years away. There was still plenty of time left for himself.
Just right. He should take this opportunity to figure out why the time controller aka TamPad sent him to this universe.
DC Universe and Marvel Universe are two completely different worlds. Although both universes have superheroes, and both have the concept of multiverse and parallel universes, in the end, these two universes are completely different. Their cosmic laws, conservation of energy, and the concept of creation are all vastly different.
Taking out the unresponsive TamPad from his pocket and looking at its still unresponsive screen, Austin sighed slightly.
In fact, the two universes are not without communication. At least in the comics, Austin has read a few times the two companies collaborated to launch the comic publication. Among them, the most famous one had to be the comic "Justice League vs. Avengers", but that was just for fun.
However, now that Austin had personally experienced crossing from Marvel to DC, he had to take this matter seriously.
If there was really interoperability between the Marvel and DC timelines, then it would absolutely not be such a simple and easy matter. The two worlds had vast multiverses. It was impossible for them to intersect so closely. That is to say, the universes in the two worlds that could truly achieve interoperability were actually not that many.
Thinking of this, Austin couldn't help but recall the huge 'Multiverse World Tree' made up of starlight that he had seen during his travels. If that World Tree was compared to the Marvel Universe, then similarly, there would also be a World Tree belonging to the DC Universe.
These two world trees consisted of different timelines developed from the multiverse, and they were still constantly evolving and expanding, affecting and colliding with each other. Eventually, some timelines of the multiverse would become "entangled".
And this was also the initial area where the two independent timeline multiverses could come into contact. These few multiverses that were erroneously entangled would become "Anchor Points", deepening the connection between the two different universes.
"So, to calculate it this way, it's not that a passage has formed between the two universes, but that one of the infinite timelines in the numerous Marvel multiverses happened to come into contact with one of the DC universe timelines, eventually leading to this erroneous crossing."
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
Austin stroked his chin. He was no genius and did not understand such profound physics very well. He could only make guesses in a way that relatively matched what he had seen and heard.
After all, this was the first time he had encountered something like this. Before the crossing, he had even thought that those comics were fabricated products that could never appear in reality.
And thinking about this, Austin also suddenly thought of something even more frightening.
If he remembered correctly, in his previous life there were also collaborations between DC Comics and the Monsterverse. The Justice League had entanglements with Godzilla and King Kong. In addition, Marvel also had Terminator vs. Wolverine. Could it be....
Austin didn't dare to think any further. At this moment, he only felt that his situation was extremely dangerous, and his mind was very messy. After experiencing so many things in such a short period of time, Austin only felt more and more pressure.
It would be better to go back and get a good sleep first. Thinking more was useless. Austin shook his head and threw all those messy thoughts aside, then turned into a small alley.
This small alley was a shortcut back to the hotel. Generally, no one would walk through here except some scavengers or people living nearby. At this time, there were very few pedestrians on the street, only Austin and a pair of twins walking towards him.
Austin rubbed his temples, trying his best not to think about irrelevant things. Currently, the most important thing for him was to rest well. He had driven all the way to get here before, not even daring to rest while passing war zones, only relaxing after arriving. His eyes were already full of bloodshot.
The two men walking towards him looked like twins. They were whispering something quietly to each other. Austin subconsciously made way for them to pass by.
But just as they were passing by each other, the already exhausted Austin suddenly heard a sentence, which instantly gave him chills.
His whole body suddenly became spirited!
"I don't know...General Zod..."
"We need to assemble the Justice League..."
?!
What the fuck?!
What's going on?
(End Of The Chapter)...To be continued.

George Harkness: Captain Boomerang
George "Digger" Harkness was a notorious criminal from Australia and a member of Task Force X. Harkness was raised in poverty in Korumburra, the illegitimate child of Betty Harkness and W. W. Wiggins. Harkness learned early how to develop boomerangs into weapons. Having moved to the US, Harkness undertook a string of jewelry heists in Central City which brought him to the attention of the Flash, who eventually apprehended him during another robbery.
Earning the name Captain Boomerang from his father later in his life, Harkness became an infamous bank robber, renowned to be among the most lethal robbers in the world with 54 counts of aggravated assault and 98 counts of burglary to his name.
During his time in Belle Reve, Harkness was serving three life sentences when he was recruited by Amanda Waller to enlist in the government-sanctioned Task Force X, where he was assigned to neutralize the threat of Enchantress and Incubus in Midway City, shortening his prison sentence as a result.
Years later, Harkness went on the run and was wanted by the Gotham City Police Department. In 2020, Harkness was recruited once again for a new grouping of Task Force X to stop Project Starfish in Corto Maltese, but his mission would not go well, as Harkness and most of the team were killed.
Arrowverse: The "Arrowverse", also known as the CW Multiverse or simply CWverse, is a television franchise that is based on characters that appear in publications by DC Comics. The shared multiverse is akin to the DC universe in their comic books, which has had crossover plot elements, settings, and characters.
The CW began airing Arrow in the fall of 2012. Due to its success, the network began production for The Flash spin-off the following year. Barry Allen was planned to be introduced in the eighth and ninth episodes of the show's second season, followed by the twentieth episode acting as a backdoor pilot. However, after executives saw the initial episodes, they decided to order the series straight to pilot. In early 2015, the CW announced a web-series for Vixen to air on the CW Seed. Two months later, The CW announced an additional series, DC's Legends of Tomorrow to air early 2016. On August 12, 2015, Wendy Mericle confirmed their version of John Constantine follows the same continuity as NBC's Constantine. On December 12, 2018, Marc Guggenheim confirmed their version of Barry Allen follows the same continuity as CBS's The Flash.
Oliver Jonas "Ollie" Queen: Green Arrow
Oliver "Ollie" Queen is the Green Arrow, a vigilante who uses a bow and arrow to fight crime at a street level, while espousing socially liberal values.
Billionaire Oliver Queen uses both his wealth and his unmatched archery skills as the Justice League's battling bowman, Green Arrow.
Although he is commonly thought of by many as just a modern-day Robin Hood, the Green Arrow is so much more than that limited description would lead you to believe. Born to a life of wealth and privilege, Oliver Queen took it all for granted until tragedy struck at sea, leaving him alone on a deserted island. There, Queen had to dig deep to find out if he had the inner fortitude to survive. While stranded on this island, Oliver honed his already formidable archery skills into becoming the greatest archer ever known.
When he finally returned to civilization, he embarked on a career as an urban vigilante, attempting to rid the streets of his hometown of Seattle, and also Star City, from crime and corruption with nothing but a bow and arrow. Viewed as a pampered playboy by the outside world, Green Arrow cares more about the plight of the poor and the suffering in America perhaps more than any other costumed superhero—a “social justice warrior” in the truest sense of the word.
Although an imperfect man, prone to make mistakes in his personal life probably more than most other costumed crusaders, the Green Arrow is nevertheless one of the greatest heroes in the entire DC Universe. Whether fighting solo, with his paramour the Black Canary or with his fellow heroes of the Justice League, the Emerald Archer is one hero anyone would be lucky to have at their back.
Darkseid (Prime Earth):
Darkseid is the tyrannical ruler of Apokolips, a sadistic, aggressive and merciless tyrant who has invaded and conquered countless worlds throughout the universe. As the God of Tyranny, Darkseid seeks to enslave all things to his will using the Anti-Life Equation.
Armed with the Anti-Life Equation, the Dark Lord of Apokolips and father of Orion seeks to control all sentient life throughout the universe…and beyond.
In the known DC Multiverse, one name stands above all others when it comes to supreme villainy—Darkseid. Ruling over the hellish world of Apokolips, Darkseid doesn’t merely mean to conquer a planet or subjugate his enemies—he seeks to rob the entire universe of its free will and replace it with his own.
To this end, Darkseid employs the vast power at his disposal to seek out the Anti-Life Equation, a mysterious formula that would allow him to remove all free will from every sentient life-form in the known universe. In his quest for ultimate power, the immortal Darkseid has repeatedly come into conflict with Apokolips’ sister world, the heavenly New Genesis, along with heroes like Superman and the Justice League.
Ruling over a court of equally twisted and sadistic individuals and commanding an army of mindless Parademons who obey his every whim, Darkseid can be defeated, but never truly destroyed. As long as malice and despair exist, the God of Evil will always find a way to return and attempt to spread his tyrannical rule over all who live. On Apokolips, there’s only one key thing every subject must understand about their ruler—Darkseid IS. There is nothing else.
Powers: super strength, invulnerability, genius-level intellect, combat strategy, alien technology, teleportation, energy blasts )
