The Books: Ryan Two

I woke up next to Wilson to a knock on my door. I opened the door to Cyrus. "Hey, can I talk to you?" he asked. "Yeah sure," I responded. "Look, are you ever worried we might go into your room or something like that?" he asked. "No," I started, "I trust you guys." "Huh, thanks, anyway we can't, we can't open each other's doors." he told me. "Really, so what happens if we try?" I asked. "Come out here," he said. I walked out of my room and stood next to Cyrus. Cyrus took my shoulders and moved me by a few inches. He gestured to me to close my door. I grabbed the door knob and closed the door. He went closer to my door and then grabbed the door knob. It threw him across the cave.

It seemed like it made Cyrus angry. "Oh, so we can't open our doors. Why?" I asked him. "I don't know, Isaac and I only found this out yesterday." he responded. "I have to tell you guys something." he said. "What?" I questioned. "I need to tell you all," he said, "Get Wilson." he knocked on Isaac's door. "Yeah," Isaac said when he opened the door, "Hi, what's up." "Get, Ulen we need to talk." Cyrus told him. Isaac raised an eyebrow, "Kay," he said. He went inside his room. Cyrus went inside his room.

"Hey, Wilson," I yelled, "Get over here." Wilson woke up and went over to me. Wilson went over to me sleepily. Ren and Ulen too came to their caretakers. "What do you want to tell us?" I asked. "I want to show you something." Cyrus responded. Cyrus made a circle movement with his arms and a huge light appears. The others and I were stunned. Cyrus looked at our reactions and started explaining, "Two years ago I started reading up and found out how to do magic." "I am not surprised you learned magic; I'm surprised you learned it this early." Ren said. "But there's more," Cyrus started, "Behind that door there are enemies that could kill all of us." He pointed at a door in the middle right.

"What type of enemies?" I asked. "Our worst selves," he said, "Well technically, their worst selves. If we open the door, we let out monsters made out of shadows that copy their worst qualities." "Why would you guys hide them in there and not kill them?" Isaac asked. "It's difficult to capture them let alone kill them." Ulen explained. "Well, what now what do we do about this?" I asked. "I just wanted to tell you guys so you wouldn't the door." Cyrus said, "Although this also means we might need to protect the cave more than ever." "Yeah, we might need to protect the cave more than ever." Isaac agreed. "Let's put one of the Mountain Guardians in the cave at all times to protect." I remarked. "Who wants to volunteer?" Cyrus asked.

"I'll do it," Wilson volunteered, "Besides I think I'm the only that isn't tired all the time." "Okay," Isaac started, "Now that we know this maybe we should work as a team due to this new conflict." "Maybe we should." I agreed. "Yeah, okay," Cyrus said, "I'll learn more about the Antis, that's what their called, Ren and Ulen will go with Ryan and Isaac while you guys protect the mountain." "Yeah, okay," I said. "Okay," Cyrus said. He went into the library. "Go along Wilson," I said. I petted him on the head. He went sat down on the floor. Isaac and I went outside the cave.

"You can go with Ulen," Isaac told me. "Okay," I said, "Why, don't you want to go with Ulen?" "Yeah, but you shouldn't be the only one with a new Mountain Guardian." Isaac explained. "Thanks," I said, "I'll go this way." I pointed to the right. "Okay, I'll go the opposite direction." Isaac said. Isaac petted Ren and gestured for him to go. Isaac started walking and Ren followed him. I kneeled to Ulen and started talking to him, "Hey, did have to sacrifice love for your title?" "No, I did not why do you ask Ryan?" he asked. "Help me a little," I said, "Please?" "Sure," he said cautiously. "Thanks," I said.

"Here follow me," I said. I started walking to the right. Ulen followed me. I walked to the nearby village. "Where are we going?" Ulen asked. "We're going to a nearby village." I responded. "Why?" he questioned. "We might able to get help so why not ask." I explained. We walked to the nearby village. At some point when we were walking Ulen started asking questions, "Why were you talking about love earlier?" "Just curious," I remarked. "Are you sure you were just curious?" Ulen questioned, "Ryan, what if your secrets unleash the antis?" "What are you crazy?" I questioned, "Of course, I wouldn't do that!" "Ryan, there's no need to yell," he said. "You're the one who's making me angry." I stated.

"Look, Ryan, could you just explain yourself?" Ulen asked. "Look, I saw a girl who's absolutely beautiful and I really need to meet." I explained. "Alright," he spoke, "Was that so hard?" "I guess not," I said. "Your fake explanation had some truth to it and you might be right." Ulen remarked. "Okay, come on let's go," I said. We walked for thirty minute. I started lightly jogging as we started going downhill. Ulen started jogging alongside me. When we reached the bottom Ulen and I started talking. "Do you like Isaac?" he asked. "Yeah, I like Isaac." I responded. "Then why don't you talk to each other?" he questioned. "We don't have enough time." I remarked. "Maybe you guys should put time aside to talk to each other." he said.

"Ok maybe we will," I said emptily. "I can tell you're speaking emptily, Ryan. I have decades of experience with humans. Heck, I was one." he remarked. "If you were one then why did you give it up?" I asked. "I gave it up to protect a mountain." he explained. "Don't you hate it a little?" I asked. "Sometimes, but I have Isaac and all of you guys." he said. "Will I hate it?" I asked. "No, no, you won't. Ryan, you're here to break rules." he responded. "I think you're right." I remarked. We walked for some more time. We come to the village. I get an invisible potion from my bag. I drink it and gave some to Ulen.

I went closer to the village. Ulen followed me. I wanted to get some help, yes, but I want to meet her. I saw her. Her long silky hair in a long braid. I went closer to the village. I went behind a rock. Ulen followed me. "What are we doing?" he quietly asked. "I don't know how to introduce me to the village." I explained. "I can sense someone." he stated, "Someone who knows about us about our world." "Who?" I asked. "We must get closer or else I can't tell." he explained. I went closer to the village. People bumped into me time and time again. I found myself into an alleyway unexpectedly. Then someone attacked me. I was blown into the air. I grabbed onto a roof of a home.

I looked over at Ulen, surprised and shocked. "Who are you?" a voice asked. "I'm a boy called Ryan." I explained myself. "Why do you have yourself a mountain guardian?" it asked. The girl appeared. "I'm it's caretaker, kind of." I responded, "Why are you attacking me? How are you attacking me?" "You don't know much about the world you take a part of, do you?" she asked. "I guess not." I responded. "Here let me explain things to you." she stated. I rush of air pushed me to the ground. "Here come with me." she said. I nodded. We went outside the alleyway. We went into a home.

"I'm Alyssa," she stated. She held her hand out to me. We shook hands. "Look," she started, "Do you know what you can do?" she asked. "No, what can I do?" I asked. "What is the farthest human you can sense?" she questioned. "Look close your eyes and trust me." she said. I closed my eyes. "Focus," she told me. I focused like she said. "Can you sense this?" she asked. Something started happening, I could sense movement from miles away. "I can sense something miles away," I said. "Do you what types of powers Earth Mountain guardians have?" she asked. I shook my head.

"Do you know the different types of nature guardians?" she questioned. I again shook my head. "There are three types of nature guardians. The three are air, water, and earth guardians." "How do you know all of these?" I asked. "I'm a caretaker of an air guardian." she responded. "You need to go; you need to go take care of your mountain." she commanded. She started pushing me to the exit. "Wait," I almost yelled, "What are powers of Earth Mountain guardians?" "You can manipulate Earth, use magic, and sense vibrations." she said. A huge gust of wind got me and shoved out of the door. The gust of wind got to the mountain. Another gust of wind grabbed Ulen and brought him to the wind. When he landed looked at him for a moment. "Come on, let's go." I said and started walking. Ulen followed me.
