Mountain Guardians
The Antis: Isaac Two

The Antis: Isaac Two

After, me and Ryan had that interaction Ren and I started walking. This was what Ulen wanted for us to become a team. I looked at Ren. "Ulen wanted this," Ren stated. "What?" I questioned. "I know Ulen wanted. This is why you did this." Ren stated. I looked at him and then said, "Yeah, you are right." "Hm, I think Ulen should have forced you to do this earlier." Ren said. "No, he didn't force me to do this," I corrected him. "Then maybe, you should have done this earlier," Ren stated. "Yeah, maybe I should have," I agreed. We walked for a few more steps.

"How's Cyrus?" I asked. "Good, he's a good kid, he's kind of secretive though," he stated. "I think we're all kind of secretive," I stated. "I wish he'd told me about his magic learning though," he stated. "Yeah, me too," I agreed. "You care a lot about them." Ren said. "I do," I stated. "Why did Cyrus learn magic? How could he learn magic?" I asked. "Because he's a caretaker of a mountain guardian." "What does that have to do with anything?" Isaac asked. "Mountain guardians or Earth guardians have three types of powers." he stated. "What are those three types of powers." "The power of magic, the enhanced power to read vibrations, and the power to control the Earth." he explained.

"Can I do anything?" I asked. "Yeah, probably," he said. "What can you do?" I asked. Then something pushed me up. I screamed my head off. What pushed was a big slab of rock that went up. It eventually stopped. I looked at Ren feet below me. "Can you teach me how to do this?" I asked. "Sure, come down," he said with a chuckle. I did as he said not because I didn't know he was joking, because I wanted to get a little revenge. I jumped of the solid slab of rock. "Isaac, no!" he screamed. He moved a big slab to me before I could fall. "Maybe don't joke around like that." I said after landing on the slab face down.

Ren grunted and then moved the slab of rock downward. I tried to land on my feet but was too scared so I tried to use the power that Ren used. A small slab of rock went upward so, I tried to land on my feet. I was successful. I looked at Ren. "Do you want to learn further skills?" he asked. "Yeah sure," I stated. "Okay, come down here." he said. The slab of rock gently went downward. It was really slow and it took some time. It was somewhat awkward as we looked in each other's eyes during that time. When the slab of rock was finished coming down, I stepped on the mountain floor.

"How are you going to teach me?" I asked. "It's actually very easy to learn," he stated. "Okay, but how?" I questioned. "Just think about what you want to do. Don't overthink it." he said. "Okay," I said barely trusting him. A giant slab of rock launched Ren into the air. "Sorry," I yelled. Ren came back down and a huge slab of rock caught him. "Did you want to hurt me?" he asked. "No," I said, "I just wanted to try it out." "Look, before doing anything think clearly." he said. "Okay," I stated. Ren came down. "Let's practice someplace else." Ren commanded. "Come," Ren said. He started running to the East. I ran after him. We reached a place where they were in between a canyon in a river. "Want to see something?" he asked. I nodded my head. A rock smashed itself against a canyon wall.

Then a bright blue light flooded the river. A huge tide of water smashed against us. Then a small little frog landed on me. "Hello, Ren who is this?" the small little frog asked. "Yoli, this is Isaac." Ren answered. "Why does he look so surprised?" Yoli asked noticing my surprised open mouth face. "He had never seen a water guardian before," Ren answered again. "What you haven't been teaching the boy right?" Yoli questioned. "That's Ulen's caretaker." Ren replied. "That Ulen is foolish and dreams of teamwork," Yoli said. "That's not true." I spoke defensibly. "Leave Ulen alone he's a dreamer." Ren came to my aid. "Fine, anyway what do you guys want?" Yoli asked. "Where's the nearest air guardian?" Ren questioned. Yoli thought about it for a minute.

"Maybe in a tree half a mile away from here and two hundred feet above." Yoli answered. "Thank you," Ren stated, "Come on, Isaac." Ren started walking eastward. We went and walked. It took a long time. As we walked, I would occasionally move rocks out of my path. Ren saw me and told me to wait. When we walked a half a mile Ren stopped me. He saw up and saw a tree. "Do it." he commanded me. I closed my eyes and envisioned the ground below rising. The ground did as I envisioned. I felt the air swooshing around us. We waited a little. "Stop," Ren said. I opened my eyes. I looked to Ren. "Where are them?" I asked.

Ren looked at me then looked at a tree. "Hi, Relik," Ren said. "Oh, hi," Relik greeted. "I need you to help me train someone." Ren said. "The boy behind you?" Relik asked. Ren nodded. "Okay," Relik said. "Isaac jump," Ren commanded. "Um, okay," I said. I trusted Ren. So, I jumped. I tried not to scream. I gust of air started controlling my body. I put my arms out and started pretending I was flying. Then something bumped into me. I looked around and saw Ren. Then I looked up and saw the blue under body of Relik. "Can I control more than one of the powers?" I asked. "You need a large amount of concentration." Ren explained. "Okay," I nodded my head. I looked up and asked, "When are we going to stop?" "Soon," he said.

After ten minutes, Relik started putting us down. After a few seconds my feet reached the ground. "Now where are you guys going to go?" Relik asked. "We are going to go into a lake." Ren said. "What, why?" I asked. "Rock with water is harder to control." Ren explained. I didn't ask anything after that. Ren started walking and me and Ren followed him. We walked for 6 minutes. Then we found the lake. I took off my shirt and got into the lake. "Okay ready, everyone?" Ren asked. Relik and I nodded our heads. Relik closed his eyes and started putting an invisible field around us.

"Okay Isaac be careful." Ren said. Ren threw a rock at me. I tried to stop. It was between Ren and me. I eventually won grabbing the rock with the ground below it. "Okay," Ren said, "Let's try another one." Ren started throwing a lot of small rocks toward me. I closed my eyes. I envisioned a large rock wall in front of me. I opened my eyes and saw a large rock smashing into my wall. Out of pure instinct I made a small slab of rock push it into the sky. "Ren!" I yelled, "Stop trying to kill me!" "You're good, you're protecting yourself," he told me. We continued. I was protecting myself from upwards, downwards, and sideways. The only time I couldn't protect myself is when Ren surprised me when he threw a rock at me with his paw.

"What the heck," I yelled, "You don't have thumbs." "Magic," he yelled. That made me throw a giant rock at him. He dodged the rock but it hit Relix. "Sorry," I apologized. "Both of you relax." he said. Ren and I calmed down. We continued practicing. The training took most of my energy. Hours later I was so tired. "Can we stop?" I asked. "Should we?" Ren asked. "Yeah, maybe, besides I want to relax too," Relix replied. "Okay," Ren said. I slammed into the water of the lake. I floated for some time. My heart relaxed and beated less. Ren swam to me. "Are you okay?" he asked. "Yeah, how tired are you?" I asked. "Very," Ren replied.

"Are you okay?" I questioned. "What do you mean?" Ren asked. "You are old, you are tired, are you going to die soon?" I asked. "Yeah, don't tell Cyrus." Ren said. "I'll never tell Cyrus," I responded. I never wanted to do something to hurt Cyrus. We floated for some time on the lake. I started swimming after some time. I started going into a cycle of floating and swimming. Ren after noticing I was gone swam to me. I put my head underwater. I saw a fish swimming nearby and threw a slab of rock from underneath the fish and it threw it above water. I went above water and caught it. "Dinner," I said. I threw it to the shore of the lake. I swam for a little more and then went to the shore and grabbed the fish.

I grabbed the bone of the fish through the mouth. I debone the fish through this method. "Couldn't you have done that differently?" Relix asked. "Yeah, but I don't want to." I responded. I grabbed two stones and started a fire. I put the fish on a stick and started cooking it. After the fish was cooked, I started eating it. Ren arrived near me and took a bite out of it too. Then me and Ren saw a huge beam of darkness that came out of the cave. We looked at each other and ran to it.
