Rin soon gave up on clearing the dungeon and followed Scarlet.
"Who is he?"
The boy asked out of curiosity
"He's an elf that survived the genocide."
"...oh."
The 'elf' was soon outside. There was a small mansion in a forest. He was taken there. The door opened and a butler was there. He showed them inside.
Then Scarlet let go of his hand and he promptly flew around a wide-open room gracefully. First the walls then the ceiling. Then he slowed to a float behind Scarlet.
"Awww."
Scarlet thought it was adorable and Rin was amazed.
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
"I thought he could only float."
"Me too."
Then their father came into the room as requested.
"Dad look! I cleared the dungeon and he was in the treasure room! It's an elf isn't it?"
The father named Johnathan was in shock.
"... I never lived near the elves so I wouldn't know. Ask your mother."
Scarlet gestured for the elf to stay there. He didn't know what she meant so he decided to play with Johnathan. He floated in front of Johnathan and tilted his head. Johnathan half panicked urged for Rin to get him away.
Soon Samantha(the mother) ran in excited to meet the supposed last elf. She used to play with the elves when she was a child.
"That's not an elf."
"Really?"
Rin asked surprised. Samantha then explained.
"Elves have green hair like the dryads and I have never heard of an elf that can fly.
"Maybe he is an ancient elf or a royal."
Scarlet suggested. Rin then asked.
"Why not check his status?"
Then Johnathan used a skill called an evil eye that can see other people's stats.
"He doesn't have one."
"But I thought every race gave their children statuses."
Exclaimed Scarlet.
"Maybe he is part of some ancient race of elves that lived in the sky."
Jonathan suggested.
"Should we give him a status dear?"
"I think so. I mean he is for Scarlet to keep."
They then went to an old priest of sorts to give the 'elf' a status.
