Moniker began to panic. He needed to find an antidote. The only way to find that would be to find people. Moniker couldn't focus enough to make a portal. He flew as fast as he could in one direction. After a while, he didn't know where he was anymore. He got lost and was starting to get desperate. Then suddenly relief eased his unbearable pain. He saw a carriage led by two large white horses. He immediately flew toward it hoping that they could help.

"Please..."

Moniker could barely yelp before falling from grace on to the cold hard ground.

"That party was so boring. The earl is always so rude! Who does he think he is Inviting royalty and not greeting them."

"Now now princess. You should calm down and relax. I hear his majesty the king is having a meeting with all of the neighboring kingdoms. It may be a good chance to meet some new people."

"But I hate politics it's so boring."

A faint noise resembling an animal in pain sounded throughout the carriage.

"Veronica, what was that."

Shortly after, a small thump was heard. Veronica was driving and quickly went to investigate the noise. She had orange hair that the sun made sparkle. She quickly unsheathed her sword and went toward the direction of the noise. The princess was left with her two guards.

"What the...?"

In front of veronica was a young man with pale skin and silver hair. His eyes were shut. He had long ears and a majestic white robe.

"Hello?"

He didn't respond to her call. She picked him up.

"Lighter than I thought."

She rested him in her arms and carried her back to the carriage.
