Magi Entering Gremory Utopia

Magi Entering Gremory Utopia

"These three?"

"Yes, sir!"

"Let them in."

The gate entrance that was in front of 3 magi started opening. The gate entrance was made of what seemed like greenery.

'Greenery is getting retracted. It seems like this gate was influence by plant magic and enchantment magic like Natsuko's magi yet different.'

Three magi then entered Gremory Utopia.

Leona then started explaining, "Even though you already know about what Utopia is, I am still going to explain it again. It's a mystery as to why such magical lands came into existence 20 years ago. But it's not just the magical lands that came into existence at that time. There were also Dead Lands, these lands basically has rich magic but the magic is corrupt, at least that's what we call it for now. If an ordinary person enters these dead lands, magic will be forced into these people and they go crazy. In other words, they become like that due to what we call Magic Poisoning. Magical Lands called Utopias creates magic rich environment that enhances greenery, underground places. We can also various of colour variation in air due to magic."

'She is right. This place inside beyond the gate entrance is filled with color varying air. Wow, it's so beautiful. And these trees, why are they so big. There trees are twenty times my size, no there are even taller trees.'

Asnor exclaimed, "Wow!"

Leona asked, "Amazing, right? You have never seen such trees before, right?"

"Yes."

Leona smiled in return. Ragnar also couldn't help but smile. He rarely saw such shocked expression on Asnor's face.

The three magi then entered a heavily fortified structure.

----------------------------------------

"This is the underground. This is where you will be trained."

"Trained? Here?"

"Yes. I heard that you had good sensory capabilities. It's my specialty. That's why I was picked to be your trainer."

"Yes. I can sense things around me quite perfectly. Recently, I have also begun to sense magic."

"Magic, you can sense magic?"

"Yes."

"As expected of Elaine's son. That's a good ability considering your age. I can sense everything that has life around me. I sense presence of life around me."

"Seems like expertise of Holy Empire? You like Holy Empire?"

"No. I would rather prefer to be under Erlion state. Gremory Family are good rulers unlike people that make decisions in Holy Empire. They're slightly a bit too zealous when it comes to getting things done."

"I see."

Asnor looked around. Everywhere he looked, there were varying colors.

"Is this a fairy land or what?"

"Hahaha. I also thought so. Come on. Let's go deeper."

Asnor saw the inner design of the heavily fortified structure of utopia as he went in deeper.

"These enchantments are all for defense purposes? What if a Void Storm occurs?"

Void Storm, first magical disaster that had occurred ever since emergence of magic. It was a magical disaster which made people incapable of using magic and also forced magic into ordinary people.

The ordinary people won't become magi just because of implanted magic. Instead they would go crazy and attack anyone around them, especially normal people, magi, animals, birds and fishes etc.

Ordinary people that went crazy because of void storm can't use magic but have very strong bodies enhanced by magic. The danger to magi doesn't come from humans mainly but from animals or other living beings that went crazy.

"There are defenses placed to protect the utopia from Void Storm. You don't have to worry."

Eventually, three magi reached a underground space.

The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.

Asnor could see a much richer magic environment. He also saw a water flow pathway and the water within seemed enriched with magic which was overflowing with various colors.

"So Asnor, just tell me what you feel when you're sensing the environment around you."

Leona stared at Asnor but Asnor seemed to be in another world as he just stood still.

10 minutes later,

"Hey! I was patient enough to allow you 10 minutes. It's about time you gave me an answer."

Asnor stared at Leona.

"I just started sensing magic. It's too confusing when I tried to sense it in here."

"Just sense the flow for now. You need to reduce the scope to sense magic. This magic rich environment is a very good training place to hone your sensory capabilities."

"You're right."

Asnor then thought inwardly, 'Unfortunately, I can sense magic very well. It's already been 5 months since I have been capable of it. By now, I can deduce intensions of a magus by just viewing his or her magic. In fact, I even understood the reason as to why Leona agreed to train me for 6 months despite belonging to Gremory Magus Mercenaries. Mother, aren't you being a bit too desperate.'

Asnor continued, 'But the most important thing is the vision I just had. It seems I will have to pull out another mischievous trouble, that too a big one. But I have to wait five months before I grow capable enough to carry out my mischievous trouble.'

Leona then used her magic. Green colored Magic started enveloping Asnor and eventually greenery started growing around him.

"Try to assess the greenery plants, and magic environment outside it. Good Luck."

"All right."

Asnor then sat in a meditation stance by closing his eyes.

Few hours later,

Asnor opened his eyes.

Asnor inwardly thought, 'There is a connection between this utopia and the dead land that showed up in my vision. But how can I get there under Leona and Ragnar's observation? I guess by growing stronger. 5 months. I will know the answer then.'

'But that's not what interested me the most. Why do I feel like all of these Utopias and dead lands are connected? From what I have understood, this utopia is connected with what had happened 20 years ago when magic came into existence. In fact it took me hours to deduce this clue. It usually only takes me a moment to deduce the intentions of magic utilized by magi. I can only think of this as magic under influence of planet or something greater.'

----------------------------------------

5 months later,

Green colored wind slashes came out of Leona's body. Asnor who was floating in the air dodged them by making slight movements.

Asnor then flew towards Leona while dodging the wind slashes barely. But when Asnor arrived closer to Leona, she smirked.

Leona started launching wind slashes at a much faster rate. Asnor was startled as he flipped to dodge the first couple of wind slashes but the wind slashes didn't stop as Asnor kept rotating his body to dodge the wind slashes. Sometimes he changed direction to dodge the wind slashes or even stopped completely to let the wind slashes bypass him.

Asnor had his entire attention on dodging the wind slashes rather than moving towards Leona. Eventually, Asnor couldn't dodge a wind slashed as it slammed at himself.

Asnor flew back while spinning in the air. Eventually, Asnor stopped spinning and balanced himself in the air. Asnor then stared at Leona Scylla, the woman he had never managed to outsmart despite putting out all of his tricks.

'Why can't I outsmart her like Fauxis? She's too good to outsmart even when she was going super easy on me. I also feel like being totally played by her unlike Fauxis. Thankfully I got Fauxis as my teacher after one month, not her. I only need to feel this helplessness for one more month.'

Right when Asnor was about to sigh, Leona launched more wind slashes. Thus, Asnor's tiring day started.

Few hours later,

Asnor was lying on the ground breathing in and out heavily. His luxurious outfit was yet again ruined completely. There were scratches and tears all over the outfit. Asnor's face was also dirty by rolling on the ground after getting hit by multiple wind slashes.

'This all began ever since I started displaying my capabilities to float 4 months ago. Even when I was bad at it, she kept on bullying, I mean training me with those wind slashes. Only 2 months ago did I properly master flying without being influenced by gravity or anything. She complimented myself now and then impressed by my speed of growth yet she never reduced the intensity of my training.'

"I truly wished to be your personal teacher rather than Fauxis. I developed my sensory capabilities first followed by floating and running away capabilities We are similar in many ways. Go tell your mother that I could teach you much better."

"No"

"Why not? I am very good at it. Don't you think?"

'She is indeed better at teaching me and I don't mind such intense training sessions but mother would never agree to it. She doesn't trust Leona at all. Fauxis's betrayal can be easily predicted by mother in case it ever happened, that is, when there is nothing that prevent fall of Gremory Family. I was able to easily deduce this by observing Fauxis and Leona, and having a very good understanding of my mother.'

"No. Let me take a break."

"Sure. I will give you much bigger breaks in case you are worried about my cruel training sessions."

"So, you do realize you are cruel? Hah. It's understandable since you wanted to make a bigger impression on my mother. Anyway, it's a big no regarding you being my personal teacher."

"Okay. I will keep asking you in upcoming month."

'Unfortunately, today is probably the last time you get to train me unless I arrive back earlier than one month.'

Asnor then called for Ragnar, "Ragnar?"

Ragnar who was standing far away witnessing the training session arrived near Asnor and asked, "What is it, Asnor?"

"Remember! No matter what happens to me this month, always be in this area. You can tell my mother regarding my message in case something happens to me."

"What do you mean? Nothing is going to happen this month. Don't say such an ominous thing. Leona is a good person."

"That's right! How could you say such an awful thing about me? I am very sad.", said Leona pitifully

Ragnar then started having second thoughts after witnessing how Leona was acting in a pitiful manner.

"Just remember it. Never forget it. All right?"

"Understood."

Few hours later when the three magi were sleeping, Asnor woke up.

Asnor then walked towards a spot. Leona then arrived next to him out of nowhere and said, "What are you doing?"

Asnor replied, "There is something I wanted to try out. Miss Leona, please step away from me. I don't want to lose my focus."

Leona replied, "All right."

Asnor then closed his eyes and focused.

Asnor then sensed several magic flow pathways in Gremory Utopia. Asnor then looked at the magic flow pathway in front of him, the only pathway magi couldn't block. Magi may not have even realized there is such a pathway.

Asnor then tried to find out his destination via this magic flow pathway. He eventually found it, the dead land that is situated not far away from Holy Empire. Asnor smirked and then focused much more intensely on the pathway.

'If I wasn't sure I could get there safely through these visions of mine, I would have never tried this. I don't even know why I trust these visions. But I got to trust them for now since it's a power that can't be explainable and there might be a reason as to why I get these visions. I hope it ain't from Planet Gaia or else it would seem like I am a hero destined to save the planet and I hate being a hero.'

Leona was staring at Asnor doing something unordinary out of the blue. Then finally, Leona noticed the change in Asnor's surrounding.

Space seemed to be fluctuating around Asnor.

"ASNOR!? ARE YOU OKAY? SHOULD I INTERFERE?", Leona couldn't intervene just like that because she didn't know what would happen if she had interfered with magic that interacted with space.

"No need, Leona. It's under my control."

Asnor then got in a running stance for some unexplainable reason.

Then out of nowhere, Asnor and the space disturbance vanished simultaneously.

Leona looked around but she couldn't see Asnor everywhere. Her face became pale.

'I got to find Asnor as fast as possible and can't let Miss Elaine know that Asnor got out of my sights. If she knew, I don't know what would be consequences.'

"Leona, what happened?"

Leona got startled and jumped unconsciously, 'DAMN IT! THIS BASTARD WAS HERE! Got to pretend like nothing happened.'

Leona replied, " Oh! It seems Asnor teleported himself. What a feat?! Unfortunately he can't escape me. No matter where he is, I will know where he is as long as he is within Gremory Utopia."

"It's a relief then. Asnor did do something like running away from me once. I thought the same scenario happened once again because I heard from Miss Elaine, Asnor wouldn't do anything troublesome unless he knows that he can't get caught. But from what you have said Leona, I guess nothing serious will happen. Hahaha."

"How did he come back?"

"He came back to the place where he had escaped from. I waited there since I had received a message from him to wait inside the same place for him. Now that I think about it, didn't Asnor say something yesterday to me to stay here no matter what happens to him in this month and you heard it, right? Unfortunately he underestimated your sensory capabilities."

Leona smiled in response but inwardly, 'DAMN IT! WHY CAN'T I SENSE HIM ANYWHERE IN THIS UTOPIA? DON'T TELL ME THAT HE TRULY ESCAPED JUST LIKE WHAT RAGNAR HAD SAID? DAMN IT!!'
