How long have I been in this darkness? Is it days? Months? Or even years? Time seems irrelevant in this void in which I drift. The last thing I remember is making my racial choice, did it fail? I suppose it could of, I was warned there was a chance of failure after all, but I didn’t think It would end up like this.
As I’m lamenting my decision, I spot a white dot in the distance. Focusing on it, it seems to be getting bigger, is it an exit? I try to get closer but my soul refuses to move.
Getting my hopes up, I pray, ‘Please be an exit, I can’t stand this place any longer, it’s driving me insane,’ when suddenly, I feel a pull coming from the white dot, am I finally leaving?
As I’m swallowed by the hole I hear,
Reincarnation complete.
Good luck!
----------------------------------------
‘It’s done sir, the mortal has been reincarnated, he chose the custom race.’
‘Good job, Shaun. You can expect a promotion for this.’
‘Yes Sir! Thankyou Sir!’
Finishing the report from Shaun, I contemplate the future. What heights can this mortal reach? I’m looking forward to it.
“Don’t disappoint me, Thomas.”
----------------------------------------
I can’t sense anything. Sight, sound, touch, nothing. I better not be a Dungeon, or I’m got write a very harshly worded letter to Shaun, if I still have hands that is. Isn’t there supposed to be a tutorial in situations like this?

Huh? There are two messages, how do I open them… ‘Open unread?’
[Unread messages] –
#1 - From: Admin: Corren – Subject: Welcome the System. – Attachment: Simplified Book of Beginnings by Lore.
#2 - From: Shaun, God of Creation – Subject: I messed up. – Attachment: Apology pack.
What does he mean messed up! How?! ‘Open #2!’
[Hey Tommy, as you can tell by the subject, I messed up. Don’t freak out, it’s nothing bad, I only sent you to the wrong place. You’re still on Hoirus, but you spawned in a cave system under Vind, instead of your planned position on Foren. To make it up to you, I have sent you an Apology pack.
Love, Shaun.]
Ding!
You have received an Apology Pack!
Open now? Y/N ‘Yes.’
Opening…
You have received the following:
x1 [Map Token] – A one-time use item that reveals everything in a 1-mile radius around the user.

x1 [Title: Friend of Shaun] – Shaun, an intermediate God of Creation, considers you a friend. 10% cost reduction to creation related skills.
That’s it? I thought he was the reason I can’t feel anything. if it’s not his fault, then why am I like this? Also, where are the items I received? Maybe the first message will have some answers.

‘Open #1’
[Hello Thomas, I am Corren, the Elder Goddess of Order, welcome to the System. Normally, when a new world is introduced to the System, they are given a pre-written crash course. But given the unique nature of your soul and that fact that you were reincarnated onto my prison planet, I thought it was only right that I be the one to get you acquainted with the System.
First, your status. The status menu, as with all the other System functions, can be opened through either thinking the command or saying it. To open your status menu, use the commands ‘Status’ or ‘Open Status’, try it now.]
‘Status.’
Ding!
[Status] –
Name: Thomas Grove
Race: Living Grandmist
Title: ---
Class: ---
Level: ---
HP(R/Sec): 300/300 (0.6)
GM(R/Sec): 550/550 (1.6)
SP(R/Sec): 120/120 (0.24)
Str: 10
Con: 12
Dex: 10
Int: 11
Wis:16
Per: 12
What the hell is a ‘Living Grandmist’? Where’s my Titan Race?! I wanted to be a Titan!
[If you have done that, you should see your status. Let me explain it for you,
- Name: Self-explanatory, it’s displays your name.
- Race: Also obvious, this shows you what race you are, Cel told me your race was going to be quite special.
- Title: Titles can be gained by completing unique actions or by earning the attention of a God. Certain titles are just for display purposes, but they can also grant special effects or skills. For example, the lycanthrope exclusive title ‘Child of Fenrir’ can only be granted if the user is one of Fenrir’s children.
- Class: The class you have determines your future development. For example, Wizard, a magic focused class, would place their stat points in a mixture of Int, Wis and Dex. Classes also have exclusive skills.
- Level: The level is a number that represents the overall power of an entity. Everyone starts at level 1 and increases their level by gaining experience. Experience points, or XP, are used to measure how close you are to your next level. Once your XP reaches a certain threshold, you gain a level and your XP resets to zero. XP is usually gained by defeating enemies but can also be gained by other means. Each successive level requires more XP to attain; therefore, gaining levels gradually becomes tougher. Every level you get 5 stat points to distribute freely among your stats.
- HP: Your health points. This is a representation of your life force. The first part is your current health and the second part is your maximum health, once your health reaches zero you die.
- MP/GM: Mana points, or in your case Grandmist(GM), shows your current and maximum Mana. Mana is the energy that of your soul and the world. Mana can be manipulated by you to perform magic. Trying to use a spell while out of Mana will use your HP instead, so be sure to only do that when there is no other option.
- SP: Stamina points. This is the energy of your body and is used in physical skills. Physical skills cost less to use then Magic spells. Using a skill when you have no SP will also use HP instead. Be careful.
- Str: Strength increases your physical power and maximum inventory space. 10 points of strength is 2 inventory slots.
- Con: Constitution increases your maximum HP, SP, and their regeneration.
- Dex: Dexterity increase your movement speed, reflexes and physical/magical control.
- Int: Intelligence increases your memory, comprehension ability and total mana.
- Wis: Wisdom increases your magical resistance, mental resistance and GM regeneration.
- Per: Perception increases your senses and intuition.
That’s all for your status, now onto the other functions. First, we have your Skill list, this can be opened by saying ‘Skills’ or ‘Open skills’. The Skill list is separated into Skill and Spells. Skills are of non-combat abilities and Stamina consuming abilities, while spells are Magic related abilities.
The Inventory, this allows you to store your items and cargo, the bigger the item the more slots it takes up. The attachment I have sent along with this message will be put into your inventory when you accept it.
Your Friends list. This shows your friends, to add someone to it you must be within 5-meters of them then send a request. They must accept it of course, but once you have them as a friend you will be able to message them, their name will be also be greyed out if they die so it’s a great way to know their status.
The Map, this displays the area around you and places you have visited. It usually displays the surface world but if you enter a building or go underground it will update to display that instead.
And lastly, we have Messages. You should already know how to open this if you’re seeing this message, but I’ll explain how it works. You can only receive and send messages to people on your friends list. Admins, like me, can also send you messages, but that never usually happens.
That’s all the basics you need to know, there are some hidden stats and values, but I’ll let you discover them yourself. It’s likely that this is the last message you will receive from me, so I’ll wish you good luck. Survive Thomas, the power you can reach if you do is too great to go to waste.]
Open attachment? Y/N ‘Yes.’
You have received:
x1 [Simplified Book of Beginnings by Lore] – The history of the beginning, written by Lore, Elder God of Knowledge.
…That was a lot of information. Corren, huh? There seems to be a lot of great powers taking notice of me, I hope they don’t have any bad intentions.
First things first, the items I received. ‘Open Inventory’
