- There ya go Viri. Are ya sure ya wanna leave?
I gave him a long look. And nodded. Then I turned around and begun my journey. Knowing that in Seclusion nobody will bother me, I allowed myself to relax. And think of all things I experienced during these 3 years of training.
…
…
…
No matter how else I wanted to start the description of it, I failed. Only word coming to my mind was hell.
To begin with, for two years all I did was strength training. You can't imagine the boredom of repetitive exercises, with the only thing to do was cursing under your breath on the bastard instructor who openly gazed at my body's wonders.
I knew how it is to have your clothes stripped off with a gaze. That's just how I felt.
All I could do was to ignore it. But man, it sure is hard! That bastard took it upon himself to torture me, and after I thought I'll died of exhaustion there was even more.
When I think of how often my beautiful body was about to be defiled by that pervert, I'm getting sick.
Definitely more then I could count.
At least every time I successfully evaded his groping attack, as I call it, I gained more and more stats in agility. Well, now that I could cool my head over the matter, I believe that he's truly great instructor.
But I would never, ever, sign up for something like that again.
At least he didn't try to kill me once he knew I was a Vampire. To be honest, it was unavoidable.
It was about a week after training begun, when he asked me as of why I seem so weak no matter how hard he trains me. When I told him about the ring, he wanted me to demonstrate it to him. So I bit my finger, dropped some blood and activated the ring.
To be hones, I wanted to scare him a little. However it seems like I amused him even more instead. Unfortunately for me I noticed strange bulk in his pants once he saw that I'm a Vampire.
And so he tried to pet me, and I tried my best to evade him. I knew he was alone, he often told me about it. How he needs someone to keep him warm during the icy nights, keep him company in this home of hermits...
Of course after about two hours he gave up, but if he ever thought that I start slacking off, he 'attacked' once again.
One may ask, if it was so hard, why didn't I run? Simple, the bastard was too strong for me. Even sneaking away didn't work, he seemed to always know when I wanted to escape.
But no matter what I didn't let him sleep with me. For that I had to find a niche large enough for me to fit in, but that was the limit.
At least he was too big to fit in no matter how he tried. And not stupid at all.
That was the only positive thing about him. Wait, maybe not. He could teach weapon wielding well.
Damn well.
In just under 1 year I became skilled enough to actually become his sparring partner.
Of course, I was constantly under the ring's effects. Guess that's just how strong I became.
Out of curiosity, I checked my stats. Something I have banned myslef from doing during whole training.

I laughed. And tripped. But I was still laughing.
I mean, who could imagine that during 3 years I'd get stats that high? I picked myself up and continued onwards, throughout the Seclusion. Most stats over 5000? And maxed out Tenacity? My only guess was that it was all thanks to that perverted instructor.
For the first time ever I felt thankful to him. Not that I would ever tell him this!
I looked over the Intellect, Wisdom and Vitality. They were really small, but from my gaming experience I figured that to increase them I have to read books. A lot of books. Just imagine all the stories they contain...
…
…
...
I went sky-high again, which made me trip again. This time I noticed stares and smirks on the faces of people around me. I gave them evil stare, but because I blushed out of embarrassment, nobody took it seriously.
With 'humph!' I quickly got up and started walking a little faster. Then I kept my head down and covered it with a coat, as I heard laughter behind me. I decided to check over my status table.
Right, I was at mages' stats, right? I grumbled over my non-existing Luck stat. But after remembering past 3 years, with sweat going down my back I was glad that it didn't reach -99999.
Fire affinity was something I had as a trait for starting in this region. But ice one was acquired during training.
Right, before I forgot, I activated my ring's power. Thanks to that my stats dropped by a great margin, but for me it was just enough that I wasn't considered One-man Army. At least until I took the spell off.
It's worth mentioning that I have also trained to access my blood magic without biting my finger. I mean, it's too easy to know I am a Vampire with me doing that.
Also, I have learned to cancel the ring effect pre-maturely. It was an accident discovery, when I was in real danger of being skewered by a certain volcano. Wait, take it back. This never happened. NEVER.

All right, after calming myself down I checked over my weakened stats.

Yeah, it's a bit sudden. 50 times decrease to stats is a lot. Also, it seems that unless I'm super unlucky or something, my stats can't go lower then basic 10. What to say, it makes me happy. Also it seems that either once a stat is maxed it can't go lower, or that tenacity is a special exception to the general way they behave.
I'd bet on the second option.
I closed the window, as I continued forward. By now I was out of the ghost town.
- Adventure, here I come! - I shouted excited.
As I stood at the plains, I checked over my equipment. Fur overcoat I had since the beginning and two iron katanas at my waist. I didn't have anything more with me, counting out goatskins in my inventory.
After I double checked my things, I went outside the ghost town.
For the first time ever since coming to this world.
