Adventure 1: Chapter 3 - Bloody wings, reaching the peak, dragon and stuff

What to do:- reach the peak of that big-ass mountain;

- get there without dying;

- explore the ruins I saw on my way[/tds2]

My thoughts:This is getting better and better!

- Ugh, this is difficult – I groaned.

And I must say that there is a reason for that. I assure you.

Well, might even not have had to if I outright told you that I was flying towards the peak of the mountain. Yeah, my destination.

However I believe I stopped the story at the moment I was telling tales of my life to the another 'mother' in that world. So let me briefly explain what happened.

Basically after hearing my story, mother swept rivers of tears. Then she fell asleep. And after waking up she started up crying again.

To be hones it started to get annoying, so I told her that I don't feel I have lost anything by coming to this world.

That seemed to cheer her up a little.

So we spent a week together, and she gave me some tips concerning my new-found power.

Summarising things up, I got a huge power-up for my blood-related magic. How to say it... it's quality increased.

Don't ask me, I don't know how too. I mean I do, mother told me after all. It has something to do with the awakening stuff. She explained something about 'ancient rite' and 'blood bound' but I was too busy trying to hold my strength in check without the exhaustion spell.

Yup, I decided to stop using the ring.

And yup, I still don't control it yet. At least not fully.

Least I managed was to not destroy the doors leading outside when I was going out.

A few walls of the ruined cathedral went missing. So after that mother had me to leave, fearing that this relic of the past will be gone just like that.

Not a loving mother, huh?

Just kidding. The thing collapsed and when it did, mum shrugged it off and was like “adventure, here I come!”.

She kind of proposed that I would follow her, but I wanted to reach the peak. Hearing that she said that we will find each other eventually.

So we left, each on our own adventure.

What else to say...

Ah, right! You must wonder how come I am flying.

The answer is simple. I used blood magic to form wings. The only downside is that first time I tried to do it I almost fainted from the blood loss. It seems that my own blood is not enough to form a stable pair.

So I went ahead and hunted some creatures in the area.

Oh, before I forget. My innate power of blood control lets me control every blood freely, under condition that there's a portion of mine in it.

So right now for the start I form blood needles which I stab in any living creature I need blood from (what with my physical stats being at MAX is a child's play) then using the blood that the needle is formed of, I take control over my victims'.

At first it was interesting to watch them explode. But now... not really.

- GRROOOOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRR! - the sudden outbreak made me lose my concentration and fall a few meters.

It's not everyday occurrence that a dragon roars nearby. That is unless you're a fucking Dragonborn who can roar just as loud.

Wait a second. How did Skyrim come into this?

Never mind. It never happened.

Anyway, I could hear it's flapping by now, so I turned around to look at it.

And, my dear guests, guess what dragon was that?

Can anybody guess? Now imagine a professional spokesperson telling this in an excited tone. People are screaming. Drum rolls are echoing. The ladies are throwing their bras at the...

HOLD ON A SECOND! Damn it, it's not a concert of some teeny little star of crazed teens! Sorry, wrong example.

Anyway, that was the dragon I saw fighting mother few days ago.

Yeah, that giant bat was actually her.

Ha, I bet you're surprised!

...You saw it coming? Really?

Reeeeeeeeaaaaaaaalllllllyyyyyyyyyyyy???

Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings.

I'm too obvious...

Wait a second. I'm in the air right now.

And I can't go into an corner for damn sure.

Right, got no choice. While sighing, I take out my two trustworthy katanas and coat them in a layer of blood.

You know, I could use just blood for this. But I prefer to hear the sound of unsheathing the blades.

It sounds... soothing. Somehow.

Well, the dragon was going at me with full speed. So I dodged it's charge 'at the last second' by flying a bit upwards while cutting him into two halves.

At least that's what I was going to do.

Yeah, I was much faster then the damn thing. However I underestimated the aerial combat itself, and wasn't careful.

And that was what I would like to say.

Really I was a total noob when it came to flying. No way I could beat a damned dragon, the mythic ruler of skies.

However the damned lizard was still to weak to kill me in one go. Instead he crushed me into the ground, which gave me a chance I immediately used.

I mean, this body is tough beyond reason. With those over-the-top stats I have, that is.

Also, normal vampires have difficulties going out in the sun, but I am not fazed by it at all.

Though I still prefer to bathe in the cool light of the moon.

Anyway, once I was on the ground I used the blood forming my wings (5 meters of span by the way) to extend the blood layer on my weapons.

What I got were 2 15-meter long friggin' sharp blood katanas.

I went ahead and slashed everything around me.

You don't want to know what happened with the beautiful scenery there.

You should just know that I have killed the damn beast.\

You must wonder why didn't I just inject some of my blood into the dragon? The answer is obvious: I can't control dragon blood. As well as demonic liquid they call it 'blood'. For me it's some kind of weird, sticky ink. If you ask me of course.

Oh right, it seems that there is a limit to how much blood I can control. Otherwise just imagine the ability on a battlefield, when there is abundance of it.

One drop of my blood would be enough to piece everybody with blood spikes rising from the ground.

In case you didn't follow me, I meant that by using one drop I would take control over the whole sea of blood and make deadly spikes out of it, effectively killing everybody.

Anyway I looked around, apologized to the nature for what I've done and continued my journey.

After two hours I could feel the excitement of being the first. I was nearing the peak, and could feel the grandeur of the moment.

But... never mind that. When I was landing on my destination, I realized something.

I could go much, much higher then originally.

That was when the memories of space travel hit me. And with them – memory of my real mother.

I fell to my knees and cried. For the first time it hit me how much I missed her. I guess, even though years passed, I still am the same kid.

- Haaaah... - I sighed.

Anyway, this adventure is done, I guess.

Along with that though I flew, keeping my head up and thinking of the home I lost. Things I gained. Meaning of life. Whether god exists. And if not, then why do people worship a thing of imagination. Do they need it? Ahhh... I don't know anymore. I don't think at all.

However what I really thought about was what awaits me.

My future.

My thoughts:It's so boring...

MISSION COMPLETE!

___________________________________

Hello there, first adventure' complete.

It's about future of the series. I plan to make it my secondary thingie, focusing on a completely different project. And writing this one when I have the ideas and motivation. And want to write something OP, as to not destroy my main story.

Not that it's not funny or something. I have tons of laughs when writing this fanfic, it's just that I want to create a story which would reach the nr 1 place on the site.

So, with that said... See ya!
