Flora’s Room, Inside the Castle
Just minutes after the demon lord Sirius began her assault on the kingdom, Flora stood at her window, silently watching the chaos unfold outside. The sky glowed ominously with fire and shadows as Sirius rampaged through the land—destroying, killing, and reveling in the devastation. But Flora’s face remained expressionless, unmoved by the horrifying scene before her.
"I wonder… if Bintang were here…" she whispered softly, lowering her gaze. “Would he pull me out of this room and charge at such a devastating monster?” Her eyes lingered on the figure of the demon lord. “Everyone I don’t even know seems to be having fun…” she murmured, her voice filled with a familiar sorrow. “Why can’t I? I wish he was here.”
Slowly, she turned away and walked towards her bed, each step heavy with loneliness. Sitting down, she stared at the floor, feeling trapped by the weight of her own emotions. Reflection and regret flooded her mind, leaving her unmotivated and numb.
“I know that feeling well… an overwhelming regret I once wished to be free from, but have never managed to escape.”
The sudden echo of a young woman’s voice reverberated throughout the room, causing Flora to spin around in shock. Her eyes widened as she found the demon lord herself—Sirius—sitting calmly on the other side of her bed, smiling gently.
Flora sprang to her feet, and in an instant, sharp vines sprouted from the floor, coiling protectively around her.
“Relax, kid,” Sirius said softly. “I’m not here to fight. I’m here because I understand how you feel. That pain… it’s haunted me for hundreds of years.”
Sirius twisted her head around unnaturally, snapping her neck as she faced Flora directly with a serene smile. “In fact, I’m not here to comfort you.”
“Then what do you want?” Flora demanded, her voice trembling with confusion and anger.
The demon lord’s smile widened. “Simple… You see, kid, I happen to know where Bintang is.”
Flora froze, her eyes widening in shock and disbelief. “W-What?” she stammered, her heart pounding as tears welled up. Was this another trick? Some twisted mind game?
The demon lord’s grin only grew as she saw the emotions swirling in Flora’s eyes. “Apparently, my niece adopted him as her new brother, and they’re on their way to go home. Isn’t that touching?”
Tears began to trickle down Flora’s cheeks. But she quickly shook her head, steeling herself against the hope clawing at her heart. Her expression turned serious, her gaze piercing. “Nonsense! I know demons and their tricks. You’re lying. You have to be lying.”
Sirius cocked her head to the side, looking genuinely perplexed. “What? Why would I lie about something like that?”
The room fell silent as Flora hesitated, staring at the demon lord. After what felt like an eternity, Sirius sighed and shrugged.
“Believe me or not, it’s your choice. I’m not here to just send you to him for free, though,” she said casually. “Let’s make a contract.”
“A contract?” Flora asked warily, her guard still up, though the vines around her began to loosen.
“Yes, a contract. I take you to where Bintang is, and in exchange…”
Flora swallowed, her voice almost breaking. “My… soul?” she whispered, her mind flashing through all the dark tales of demonic bargains she’d ever heard.
“What?!” Sirius exclaimed, looking utterly scandalized. “Why would I want your soul?”
Flora blinked, confused by the demon lord’s reaction.
“Well, most demons ask for souls… to eat or torture,” Flora explained, her voice uncertain.
“Them, not me.” Sirius huffed, crossing her arms indignantly. “Why would I want your soul? To clean my house? That’s absurd. My home is already spotless.”
The bizarre answer left Flora even more bewildered, her guard dropping as confusion replaced her fear. The demon lord seemed deep in thought, tapping a clawed finger against her chin as she considered.
Finally, Sirius’s eyes lit up with an idea. “Ah, I know! How about this: an adventure?”
“An… adventure?” Flora repeated, utterly lost.
“Yes, an adventure! Even if it’s just a short one, I value the fun and excitement of exploring with someone. You get to see Bintang, and I get to enjoy a valuable experience. How does that sound?” Sirius beamed, her smile wide and strangely genuine.
Flora stared at the demon lord, utterly baffled by the strange demand. An adventure with a demon lord… in exchange for seeing Bintang again? What was this bizarre creature really after?
As Flora remained lost in thought, a sharp voice cut through her daze.
“Hello? HELLLOOO...?! Are you deaf or something?”

Flora snapped back to reality, blinking rapidly as she realized the demon lord was speaking to her. Sirius raised an eyebrow, tilting her head in confusion before speaking again.
“Please tell me you understand what I’m offering. It’s pretty simple,” she said with exaggerated patience. “You get Bintang back, but in exchange, we spend some time together—an adventure, just you and me, like partners.”
Flora’s expression shifted uncertainly. “Like… a friend?”
Instantly, Sirius’s demeanor changed. In a blur of motion, she grabbed Flora’s collar, lifting her off the ground with an iron grip. Her eyes blazed with anger, and her smile vanished, replaced by a dark scowl.
“Don’t ever use the word ‘friend’ when talking to me. That’s not nice,” she hissed softly, her voice low and dangerous.
She released Flora abruptly, causing her to stumble and fall to the ground. Flora’s heart pounded as she scrambled back, feeling the air thick with Sirius’s suppressed rage.
“Do you understand that, kiddo?” Sirius asked, her voice soft but laced with warning.
Terrified, Flora nodded frantically, fear coursing through her veins. She’d never felt this kind of fear before—raw and overwhelming, paralyzing her under the weight of Sirius’s gaze.
Then, just as suddenly, Sirius’s mood shifted again. The darkness in her eyes faded, replaced by a bright, almost childlike enthusiasm. She straightened up, grinning as if nothing had happened.
“Great! Now, uhm… what’s your answer?” she asked cheerfully, her voice bubbling with excitement.
Flora remained frozen, fear still gripping her as if it were a physical force crawling up her spine. But everything changed in an instant when Sirius casually pulled out a phone and showed her a picture. The image on the screen made Flora’s heart skip a beat—there, smiling brightly, was Bintang, his eyes filled with genuine happiness.
“Make your choice, kid. Like it or not, I don’t have much time here,” Sirius said, his tone suddenly sharp and serious. Despite the smile on his lips, there was a weight in his gaze that made it clear he wasn’t playing games.
The fear drained away, replaced by a surge of conflicting emotions. Is this what I truly want? Flora asked herself, staring hard at the photo. What if she’s lying? What if this is just a trick to use me... to torture me? She bit her lip, glancing down as uncertainty tightened its grip around her heart.
But what if she’s telling the truth...?
Her thoughts whirled in confusion, but a small spark of hope began to form. This… this might be my only chance. Her grip tightened as she clenched her fists, her knuckles turning white. Slowly, Flora raised her head, looking straight at Sirius, who was still smiling serenely and watching her with curious eyes.
“What? Is there something on my face?” Sirius asked, tilting his head in confusion as Flora continued to stare.
But Flora’s eyes were no longer filled with fear. Instead, they blazed with a new resolve. “Yes,” she finally said, her voice firm and clear.
Sirius blinked, caught off-guard. “Yes what?”
Flora took a deep breath, squaring her shoulders. “I want to make a contract.”
A wide grin spread across Sirius’s face. Without another word, he extended his hand, and a contract made entirely of fire materialized above his palm. The flames twisted and shimmered, forming intricate symbols that glowed with a sinister light. The demon lord plucked it from the air and handed it to Flora.
“Now then…” Sirius began, but his smile faltered slightly as something caught his attention. He glanced toward the door behind Flora, his eyes narrowing. For a moment, Flora was confused—until she heard a calm, soft voice speaking directly inside her mind.
“Sign it quietly. There’s someone listening behind that stupid door.”
Flora’s eyes widened in shock. She instinctively touched her head, looking around, only to realize that the voice was coming from Sirius himself, speaking to her through telepathy. She hesitated, her confusion turning into disbelief.
“Don’t worry,” the voice continued smoothly. “It’s just me—the demon lord you despise most, blessing you with his glorious and magnificent voice.”
Flora stared at Sirius, who smiled back at her, perfectly composed. “Just for your information,” he added aloud, his tone both mocking and serious, “I am a male, not a female. So don’t call me ‘she’. I hate it.”
Despite the tense atmosphere, Flora found herself nodding slowly. “R-right…” she murmured.
“Good,” Sirius replied with a grin, his eyes gleaming mischievously. He gestured to the fiery contract. “Now, sign it—quickly. And try not to let our eavesdropper notice.”
Flora gulped, feeling the pressure of his gaze. But the determination in her heart didn’t waver. Taking a deep breath, she carefully reached out to touch the flaming contract, steeling herself for whatever lay ahead.
“Now, say it out loud: you refuse,” Sirius’s voice echoed in Flora’s mind, filled with a mix of mischievousness and delight. “Let’s create a little drama.”
Flora hesitated for a split second, but then responded softly, “I... I refuse.”
Sirius’s eyes gleamed with excitement. “More, I want it louder—make it convincing!” His voice brimmed with eager energy.
With a surge of determination, Flora shouted angrily, “I REFUSE!”
Sirius jerked back, feigning shock, but a proud smile played on his lips. Flora took a deep breath, her emotions swirling as she pushed herself further.
“I REFUSE YOUR OFFER! THIS IS JUST ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR TRICKS TO MANIPULATE ME" she scream loudly in anger "SO GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!”
The demon lord’s grin widened as he raised his hands, feigning defeat. “As you wish~......Our contract is canceled.” His form shimmered, then melted into the shadows, disappearing from her sight.
Flora gasped, breathing heavily as the adrenaline surged through her. Just as she started to relax, she heard Sirius’s voice again, echoing in her mind—calm, composed, and still as playful as ever.
“Your only way out is to crush my heart. Not my actual heart—just grab something right in my chest. Use vines, shadows, whatever you have. Of course, I’ll try to resist, so be smart, since I like to prolong my fun.” His voice paused, then added with a teasing lilt, “Oh, and make sure it’s flashy. The window is your only way out—make it count.”
Flora’s eyes darted to the window, her breath catching as she realized what he meant. She stepped closer, peering outside, and froze.
The demon lord loomed outside the castle, now a towering, monstrous figure. He was locked in a fierce battle against a colossal water elemental, each of his movements sending shockwaves through the air. The elemental’s watery form crashed against the demon’s dark aura, creating a spectacle of raw, chaotic power.
Without hesitating, Flora smashed the window with a burst of her power, shards of glass scattering around her. She looked down, her gaze tracing the dizzying height of the castle wall to the ground below. Fear clenched her heart at the thought of leaping from such a height.
But then, a memory of Bintang flashed through her mind—his smile, his voice, his unwavering strength. A surge of warmth filled her, pushing the fear away and replacing it with determination.
This is for him.
Taking a deep breath, she clenched her fists and jumped out of the window, her heart racing as she hurtled through the air.
Time to act.
Back to the present
“YOU’RE NOT TELLING ME ANYTHING ABOUT THE FUCKING BLAST! YOU JUST BLASTED ME, AND NOW I’M LEFT TO CRUSH YOUR HEART ALL BY—”
Before Flora could finish, Sirius interrupted her with a tone that mixed regret with irritation. “WELL, AT LEAST MY PLAN IS WORKING! You should be thanking me, not shouting at me!” He turned his head away, feigning disappointment. “That’s rude.”
Flora’s anger bubbled beneath the surface, and she chose to glare off in the opposite direction, avoiding his gaze. With her voice dripping with sarcasm, she shot back, “You’re more like a child than a FAMOUS DEMON LORD BASTARD.”
Sirius bristled at her insult, ready to retaliate. “At least I’m not someone who lets their partner suffer while watching right in front of their eyes! I’m guessing you’re just playing dumb, pretending to be blind to the scene!”
Her heart raced with a mix of sorrow and fury, Flora’s voice turned violent and aggressive. “OH REALLY? THE GREAT DEMON LORD WHO’S SUPPOSED TO BE FEARED IS ACTING LIKE A BABY! A STUPID IDIOT, YOU’RE JUST PLAYING LIKE A FUCKING BABY!”
The words cut deep, and Sirius’s eyes flared with anger. “YOU TAKE THAT BACK!”
Flora turned defiantly, sticking out her tongue in mockery. “FUCKING BABY!”
Sirius’s rage reached a boiling point, and he suddenly had an idea.
---
Literally a few minutes later…
“AAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!” Flora screamed in terror as she dangled high above the ground, her heart racing. Sirius had transformed into a small wyvern, gripping her leg with his claws, a mischievous smile on his face.
“THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD RESPECT ME! OR ELSE I’LL DROP YOU OUT OF THE SKY AND SEE FOR MYSELF WHICH ONE LANDS FIRST—HEAD OR FEET!!!”
Flora’s eyes widened in panic.
Sirius shouted again in mocking and playing "OOOoooOOOOoOH NOOO, I THINK MY GRIP IS STARTING TO GET TIRED"
Looking at the ground far away from her making her keep screaming terror and fear, tears streaming down her cheeks as she begged, “PLEASE, PLEASE! I TAKE IT BACK! I TAKE IT BACK!!!”
Sirius reveled in her fear, watching with delight as she pleaded for safety.

Few hours later
Sirius was singing in enjoying singing while flying
"AND THE WEIRD AND THE WILD

He rises his voice louder

I never expected he tortured this way, this is just pure pain in my ear.
"I HEAR THAT KID" as the demon lord stop his singing and shouted at Flora before then continue to singing again.
