"Where's that goddamn mod?!"
Checking out the special mod's description again out of curiosity, he instead finds nothing on the results page by using the search bar.
'This type of bug again,' he thought as he already encountered this problem numerous times before in the launcher. But after countless attempts, he decided to give up and just wait for the problem to fix itself.
Opening up Minecraft on the launcher, he loaded up the first world he created with that Fantasy Mod. Entering the world, he finds himself surrounded by spruce trees and animals eating off rotten flesh from the ground. His surroundings amazed him since he never encountered something like this before even with numerous mods at his disposal.
Looking at what they're eating, it was revealed to be the leftovers of the zombies that tried to attack him while he was away from his keyboard, or AFK. As he shooed them away from the area by walking towards them, he then looked around him and tried to remember what did he do before logging off the game for the night.
"What was I doing again? I can't remember... Hm..."
Brainstorming, he finally guesses what he did before: Trying to locate civilization in this strange world. He didn't have time to finish it the day ago, since he was already tired at the time and any further extension on the computer would get him killed by his mother.
"Alright, let's follow the path again until we see what's at the end," he muttered to himself as he flew his character high up into the air and followed the dirt road below him. "I'll be indulging in some good-ass stories here if I find one, heh."
Soaring through the air, he saw more carriages drive down the road, their wheels bouncing on the uneven path. He also noticed that these vehicles were appearing more frequent, suggesting that he might be near a settlement or a town.
His expectations were completely blown away the moment he arrived at what seemed to be a city. Enclosed within huge cobblestone walls, in Yuri's eyes, it looked like this was the capital of the country in this land. Above the city, what seemed to be dragons flew through the skies. He couldn't believe his eyes when he saw NPCs riding the beasts, dragon riders perhaps.
"Oh... my... Jesus..."
"Am I watching an animation or some sorts?... How is this literally...."
"I-- thank fucking god I encountered this mod when I was searching the launcher... I-I cannot explain how goddamn amazed I am right now..."
Unpausing the game, he looks at the city for a moment before pressing [C] to zoom in on the structures in front of him.
At the top of the walls, soldiers patrolled peacefully. Yuri couldn't take his eyes off the people as he was looking at their appearances in the distance. Curiosity got the best of him as he saw what seemed to be a conversation between two soldiers on top of a watchtower on the wall.
Opening up his creative inventory, he went to the brewing section and grabbed an invisibility potion to conceal himself. Grabbing one bottle, he drinks the potion and flies towards the wall.
Landing on the cobblestone structure unnoticed, Yuri heard the bustling sounds of the nearby guards having some sort of a drinking party while on the job. Taking a moment, he went near the group to hear their conversation before heading to the watchtower.

"CHEERS!"
"CHEERS!" The others said in unison.
"Hah! You seriously tried to catch her when we're at the bar huh?!" A man exclaimed to the one beside him. "I saw it all happen, she shot you down harder than when those elven archers launched their arrows at the Battle of Hale!"
"Man, I think it's more powerful than that actually..." the man replied back to him, his face pale.
"Sorry about her, she's quite a picky one," the female guard in the group said. "From food to romantic relationships, yeah - you get the idea."
"Don't worry dude, there's bigger fish out there in the sea!" his friend reassured him.
"Yeah, but those bigger fishes are getting eaten by krakens and leviathans, so I literally don't stand a chance," the man remarked.
------------------------------------------------------
...
'Yep, these aren't NPCs, these are real beings who think, eat, sleep, and live.'
"Seriously, this mod could literally change my life for the better!"
Excited to see more, he jumps down from the wall and into the city. As he landed on the ground, it made a loud thud, alerting the nearby guards to his position.
"What's that?!" A guard exclaimed. "I heard something over there."
"Huh? Wait, what happened?" The other one became confused.
He hastily walked away from the area and into a small alleyway to hide. Fortunately, nobody noticed him since he has an invisibility effect on his character.
...
"Du- tuduruduru... I'm batman, bitch."
As he continued down the narrow alleyway, he encountered some small mobs that looked like insects crawling on the ground. He punched one and it ran away as fast as it could.
He then pretended to be a lost person and tried to immerse himself in the environment--like from those showcase videos of games with RTX turned on.

"What is this??~~" he said with an amazed tone on his voice. 'Why am I doing this by the way?'
Just as he was about to abandon the act, he suddenly hears a scream from a corner in the alley.
A female scream, to be exact.
Alerted, he rushed over to the location where the sound occurred. However, when he took the corner and saw what caused the scream, he couldn't help but cringe when he saw it.
Two men were taking advantage of a woman, their faces having a wide grin as they ripped off her clothes and held her in place. Yuri closed his eyes for a moment to think about the situation.
...
The scene felt so incredibly weird to him.
A game, which was made to be played by literal ten year olds on their family computers...
A game, which was all about creativity and building...
It was all thrown away in this mod.
This wasn't Minecraft anymore.
Everything that was in front of him right now, looked like it was an NSFW video from newgrounds. Seeing literal sentient block characters committing serious crimes in an alleyway took a small toll on his mind.
...
Suddenly, everything felt silent.
Confused, he opened up his eyes to find the two men in front of him were staring at him, including the woman.
"Uhh... why are they looking at me-" Yuri became silent after after remembering something important. Opening up his inventory, he saw that the invisibility effect had run out already. Shocked, he hovered his mouse over to the potion to see the duration or timer of the drink.
...
"4 MINUTES?!! I DIDN'T PICK THE LONGEST?!!"
In a split second, one of the men lunged towards him with a knife in hand, planning to kill him. However, the blade of the weapon didn't made a scratch on his character at all. The weapon just bounced off his head like a ball. The man stumbled back in disbelief.
"W-What the?!" the man cried out.

...
"Foolish."
Yuri pulled out his Enchanted Diamond Sword and swung it at the man. Critically injuring him, knocking him a couple of blocks away, and setting him on fire.
"AAAAGH!! H-HELP ME!! AAH-- AAAGH!"
Moments after, the man succumbed to the flames of pain that was brought on to him. His partner watched in horror as the man took his last breath and perished in a fiery end. Terrified, he let go of the woman and ran in the opposite direction, too scared to look back.
Yuri sighed in disappointment and unequipped the sword from his character's hand. He walked over to the (blocky) woman and spoke to her.
"You alright there, miss?"
"I-I'm fine, t-thank you for s-saving me..." the woman couldn't look away from her attacker's burnt body before it disappeared in a puff of smoke.
...
Yuri paused the game and stood up from his seat. He exited his room and went downstairs to the kitchen. There, he grabbed a glass cup from the dish rack next to the sink and went to the fridge--where he took a carton of milk and poured it onto the cup, filling it whole.
'I might literally not leave my room due to this goddamn game...'
Finishing the cup in one gulp, he placed it inside the sink and left the kitchen. As he went upstairs, somehow he could still smell a faint stench of iron emitting from the door to his room; though it immediately disappeared the moment he entered his room.
'Wait a second, is there an option for that insane-ass system?'
Sitting back on his seat, he opened up the options menu and saw a new configuration for the game.
>[FWG Options]<
Clicking on it, it granted him a few options on editing the mod.
------------------------------------------------------
[View Rendering] - Will stall the animations that are not seen by the player. NOTE: Will completely override vanilla options. May also cause problems for AI behaviour.
[Enable AI change] - Will change the AI's behavior for possible increase of FPS depending on system. NOTE: Will require a restart of the game because it may break your world.
Yuri didn't bother changing the other options since they'll clearly cause problems for him if he tampers with it. But, one option literally gave him his wish.
[Disable Smell Effect] - Don't want to smell strange stuff from your computer? Well, here you go. (Don't bother asking me, the creator, on how I did this)
...
"I'm seriously confused right now..."
>[Disable Smell Effect]<
"Goodbye, smell of burnt corpse flesh!"
------------------------------------------------------
"So, what happened here?"
"I-I was just helping a child since he looked like h-he needed some money, but those men suddenly showed up and grabbed me," she said with a terrified look on her face.
'Eugh... so cliché...' Yuri thought.
"D-Don't worry, since they're not going to be harassing you anytime soon," he reassured her with a slightly cracked tone on his voice in the first half.
Opening up his creative inventory, he grabbed a golden apple from the food section and placed it into his hotbar. He then equipped it in his main hand and showed it to the woman.
"Are you hurt anywhere? I should've asked that in the first place," Yuri consulted. "Here, eat this and you'll feel better maybe..."
The woman didn't respond to him and just stared at the apple. Her eyes widened and it looked like she was in shock upon seeing the item.
"A... I-It's a g-golden... apple?" she stuttered. "I-I'm so sorry, but I c-can't accept that!"
'Hm? Are these things so valuable here? They're kind of useless in normal Vanilla Minecraft though; unless if it's PVP,' he thought.
"Just take it, what could go wrong?" he insisted.
"I-I'm pretty sure someone better could use that! Like those soldiers from the capital o-or the trainees!" she said, refusing to take the item.
Yuri became a little bit frustrated. 'What effects do a normal golden apple grant upon a person if they eat one? Did the mod change it?' he thought as he opened the command bar and went to survival mode.
[/gamemode s]
Right-clicking on the food item, his character began to eat the golden apple. After a few seconds, it ate it whole, granting him buffs that last for...

"IT'S INFINITE?! THAT'S SO BUSTED!!!" he exclaimed out of shock. "Then that e-gap I put into that chest back there..."
Yuri went to creative mode once again and opened up his inventory. He grabbed one enchanted apple and placed it into his hotbar. He then went back to survival mode again to eat it.
'I'm seriously going to download a mod that lets me eat in creative mode.'
The woman just stood there confused, he ate the golden apple like it was normal and just stared into the abyss after. But when he enchanted apple appeared on his main hand, it took a couple of seconds for her brain to realize that this man was incredibly powerful.

"So, if I just eat this..."

'The regen effect's so high! It's similar to that of bedrock edition! And they're all on an infinite timer!'
'Holy moly, if an NPC literally eats that, they'll become so overpowered as fuck... Just imagine being able to swim in lava or regenerate faster than a cockroach left alone after being stomped on by a shoe.'
...
"W-Was that a-an enchanted g-golden..." she stumbled in her words out of shock due to what she saw in front of her.

Yuri made a smug face before taking action.
...
"Oh, you mean this great gem?"
(dramaticchoir.mp3)
He then showed her the enchanted golden apple in all of its glory. Its shining blue enchantment blinding the woman's eyes, and it's golden skin captivating her gaze. To Yuri, it was an incredibly powerful item. But to her, it seemed like a divine artifact that could grant godlike abilities and ensure a prosperous life. Both seemed to agree on one thing:
It's overpowered.
...
"So, you want it or not? I'm being so generous right now; maybe even too much!"
"I-I..."
...
"Sure."
...
"Good."
