Soaring through the skies was a mysterious being. Was it a bird? A dragon? A wyvern? Nope, it was the character of our handsome protagonist, Yuri. Recently coming home from school, he still hasn't changed into his normal clothing yet because he was so eager to play Minecraft. Passing through countless structures that may or may not have widen his eyes about the world, he suddenly comes across something that shook/amazed him to the very core.
"Another fucking carriage..."
"Wait... it's moving! Horses! NPCs?! People?! Potential sentience?!!! Hmm???"
He flies down and follows the moving carriage, floating at the back. He tries to look inside the vehicle while he's still not noticed, but the constant movement in front prevents him from doing so.
Frustrated, he stops for a moment and opens up his creative inventory. Going to the brewing section, he grabs an invisibility potion and drinks it. 'They cannot see me now,' he thought to himself.
Flying to the side of the moving carriage, he sees what's inside.

Allen sat back in the seat of the transport, his eyes fixated on the passing countryside as it gradually transformed from the thick forest to the grassy countryside as far as the eye can see. The movements of the transport kind of made him sick for a moment, but with the help of some calming magic he learned during his childhood, it disappeared instantly when he chanted it into his body.
Leaving behind his peaceful hometown, he'd embarked on a journey to the capital of the kingdom, Landfort. Having a bag of coins, some documents, and a sense of excitement within him, he decided to take his chances to gain a fortune in the city where opportunities were everywhere.
He had heard about the rumors that when you get a job at the capital, your lives would improve ten-fold and maybe even god would bless you with tons of luck. A place teeming with wealth, status, and overall everything that could give you happiness--a place where dreams were forged into reality.
As he was thinking about the good things in life, the carriage suddenly stops in its tracks. Confused, he peeks out of the window, seeing a figure standing in front of the transport, motionless.
He sensed that something was clearly wrong, and braced himself for what was about to happen.
The driver shouts at the man, his yells echoing throughout the area. But when the man in front turned his back towards the carriage, terror sets in their minds as the man turned out not to be a human, but an undead being. Panic sets in as the horses in front grew agitated at the sight of the monster, thrashing here and there; trying to escape.
The driver tried to pick up his flintlock pistol placed on the side of the porch. But when he reached out to it, he instead grabs something weird and gross. He looked to his left and realized that the thing he grabbed wasn't an object, but an undead person--who silently climbed up to the seat unnoticed.
"gheeer.."
"aaAAAAHHH-"
Blood spilled on the front glass panel as the undead bit the arm of the driver, infecting him with a mysterious pathogen. The man tried to struggle, but was ultimately overwhelmed when another undead person appeared on the other side of the porch, biting his neck and locking him in place. Screams and the sound of flesh being torn echoed throughout the area as Allen watched the horror in front of him happen in such a short amount of time. He didn't even have time to think about what happened, but the first thing his body told him was to fight back with everything he has to offer.
An undead suddenly banged on the left door of the carriage, trying to get to him with hungry eyes. He hastily reached out to his bag placed in front of him and grabbed the weapon his uncle gave to him when he was about to leave the town. While analyzing the situation, he opens the right door of the carriage and exits through there. Outside, he finds that there are two undead in front, and they're now walking towards him. He readies himself and rushes towards one of them. He grabs the neck of the first one and stabs it in the head full force, instantly killing it. The other one tried to grab him from behind, but he acts first and knocks it away. Taking the knife from the head of the dead monster, he lunges at the other one and stabs in the head also, killing it in one strike.
The screams of the driver were now silent as the undead now shifted their attention towards Allen, who killed a few of their comrades. They now all rushed towards him with outstretched arms, wanting to satisfy their never-ending hunger for flesh. Allen readies his knife, which was covered in a mixture of black dead brain matter and rotten flesh, and prepares to face them all on his own.
'Tch, do I run or fight?' he thought. 'What should I do?!'
He suddenly turns his attention to the driver's seat, checking on him if he's still alive. To answer that question, Yes; he's still alive, but the answer to: "If he still retains his humanity," No; he doesn't. In other words, he's an undead now.
Trying to decide his next move, he suddenly hears a yell in the distance.

"HEY YOU! TAKE COVER!"
'Huh?!'
The sound of arrows being released from their bows reached to him, as a volley fell down on the grouped up undead near and at the carriage, killing most of them in a short moment. Armored men now appeared from the trees, taking care of the remaining undead that are still left. In under a minute, everything was now under control. Allen then took a sigh of relief and fell to his knees, being glad that he gets to live another day.
One of the armored men approached Allen and reached out his arm to him.
"Are you alright?" he asked. "Looks like you were ambushed by those monsters."
"I'm fine," Allen replied. "Thank you for saving me."
"Were you bitten somewhere? In the arm or shoulder?"
"I fortunately came out unscathed, but the driver however..." he pauses for a moment. "I think he's gone."
He looks toward the carriage and sees the driver's body on the porch with an arrow to his head.
"He's dead alright..."
"Don't worry, he's in a better place now," the armored man assured him. "These attacks are getting quite frequent huh? Ever since these things started to appear at the southern part of the country, they've spread elsewhere in just a few years."
"Commander! Something seems unusual with these ones..." one of his subordinates called out to him.
"What? What did you find--"
"I checked their statuses, and I literally saw nothing written on their description. No name, no skills, no information about their birthdate, no nothing."
"It seems like they were just created at this very moment-" he was suddenly cut off by the sound of his commander screaming at him.
"WATCH OUT- BEHIND YOU!"
"Huh?"
The man tried to turn around, but he was suddenly greeted by a strong sense of pain on his right as a female undead took a bite on his shoulder. He screamed in pain as the teeth sank into his skin. Kicking the woman away, he then took out his bow, giving her an arrow to the face. The man then turned back to the group, grasping the wound on his shoulder.
"W-Where did she come f-from?!" he exclaimed. "I'm sure I-no... we killed all of them, right?!"
"Calm down Soldier, you're going to be alright--"
"Alright? A-Alright now?! I'm sure we killed a-all of them! Where did she come from?!! She just appeared out of nowhere-- I'm bitten! She's supposed to be dead!!"
"P-Please Chris, come with us and you'll be a-alright..." his friend tried to convince him. But alas, he didn't listen.
"D-Don't even try to comfort me now, I'm a dead man walking."
"Chris, calm down. I'm sure we'll be able to completely remove the corruption if we go to the medical tent quickly--"
"BULLSHIT! I'VE SEEN YOU GUYS BRING THOSE PEOPLE TO THE TENTS! THEY NEVER RETURN ALIVE! I-I"M NOT READY TO DIE NOW, I HAVE A FAMILY!!"
Trying to resist the infection, he rips off a piece of cloth from his shirt and covers the wound with it. Black veins now began to appear on the sides of the wound, indicating that it's now spreading throughout his body.
"I-I'm so sorry Chris, this should've not happened if we paid enough attention--"
"SHUT UP- SHUT UP- SHUT UP!! I'M NOT GOING TO BECOME ONE OF THEM NOW! I-I'M SURE I CAN RESIST THIS! MY WILLPOWER MIGHT BE ENOUGH-- GAH!!"
Chris suddenly coughs up blood and falls down on his knees. He shifts his attention towards his comrades, who are looking at him with eyes of horror as he slowly turns into an undead. His face slowly became covered in black veins as the pathogen spreading inside him was about to reach his brain, beginning the final stage of infection.
"I... I'm not fucking ready yet--"
...
"GH-!!" He coughs up blood yet again. His eyes now turned red as he was now slowly losing his sanity.
"H-How did this happ... happen."
...
"Commander, should we?" one of the subordinates asked him. He stays silent for a moment before giving out the order.
"Execute him. I'm sure he understands-"
...
Suddenly, Chris pulls out his combat knife holstered on his waist and aims it at his neck, planning to stab it. He looks at his commander and at his friend, saying his final words to them.
"T-Tell my sister... she's a huge piece of shit... but I love her..."
"CHRIS!"
He stabs his neck, piercing his throat and hitting his spinal cord, sealing his own fate. He collapses on the ground, bleeding out from his wound and choking on his own blood. His comrades rushed over to him to calm him down and let him have a peaceful death. Ned, his best friend, started to bawl his eyes out on his dying body. He held his hand in his final moments until he died.
"D-Don't worry, I'll marry y-your sister for you..."
Chris aimed a middle finger at Ned before finally succumbing to his wound.
...
"I-I'm s-so sorr-y..." said Ned as his tears dropped on Chris's face.

[Spawn Chris Tenvor]
"Holy fuck, I didn't have to do that..."
Yuri now held a spawn egg of Chris. It turns out that he was the one that did all of this chaos for his own entertainment. Suddenly spawning zombies near the people, causing this to happen.
"Well, I guess he gets to live on as an NPC spawned by me now. Also... how the fuck is this happening?"
"How can this be?!! How can this exist??!! This should've only appeared in Minecraft Animations on Youtube, not here! I'm like watching a literal fucking Minecraft Animation from... from Youtube!!"
'This is absurd... If these things can literally think, then I need to value their lives more and not think of them as mere NPCs only!'
'I clearly cannot comprehend how complex this shit is... It's like I'm a Medieval European seeing modern tech in Paris or London...'
'Well, I'm not going to know how they're going to react to that, but...'
...
Opening up his creative inventory, he takes an Enchanted Golden Apple and places it inside a nearby chest as compensation for what happened. Not knowing the item's true value in this world, he flies off into the distance to not tamper with the group anymore.
'I should've gave 'em a stack of those suckers; but I think it'll be too over-fucking-powered as shit. Maybe they'll just kill each other cause it's so valuable and rare.'
...
"My guts are saying that I should go back and get that item... but I get this feeling every time I play the game, so shut up brain; you're overthinking."
Clearly bugged by his mind, he pauses the game to calm himself down by meditating on his seat.
"Phew... this is gonna be a long ride to enlightenment," muttering to himself. "What's the lore of this world by the way?"
"I heard those NPCs-- I mean people talk about the origin of the zombies, I think? The southern part of their country..."
He then paused the game and opened up Chrome to search up "lore zombie outbreak" on the search bar to find more about this type of scenario; but he ended up watching multiple videos on Youtube about the lore of Minecraft and the Green Flu from Left for Dead.
...
"Fuck, it's already midnight!"
