Scene 1:

RING RING RING RING. Yuno’s alarm goes off. He shuts it off. He’s been in the same position he was since he came back to his room after dinner. Yuno gets up from his face up position that he was in all night. He wipes his eyes and looks at his phone. “Wow, didn't sleep a wink.” Yuno says to himself as he sighs. Yuno glances at Bolta who’s sound asleep. “I never wake up for my first alarm so I might as well get up and get this day started.” Yuno says again to himself. He gets up and goes to get ready for the day. He enters his room yet again. As he’s about to put his clothes on he hears “Seriously kid, you may not have gotten any sleep but I did and I didn’t think seeing your pasty white as a ghost bottom is a great start to the morning.” “Oh and a goodmorning to you too Bolta…” Yuno says. “And it’s also not my fault I can’t get a tan.” Yuno and Bolta both share a laugh. “So kid, how are you feeling? I assume it's not so great since you got no sleep.” Bolta says. Yuno sighs and looks to Bolta and says “I couldn’t sleep. There’s so many outcomes to think of and it was all so much for me that I couldn’t sleep…” Just as Yuno is about to continue he hears a ding come from his phone. “Seriously this early? Wonder who it could be.” Yuno says. He looks at his phone and his eyes widen. “Who is it kid?” Bolta asks. “It’s Shoya… Here’s what he said…Hey Yuno I decided to meet you a bit earlier this morning. My dad left early and I’m bored so maybe we can talk and hang out somewhere by the school until classes start. Who knows I might have classes with you.” Yuno says as he finishes reading the text. “What’re you gonna do kid?” Bolta asks. “Well it’s going to happen eventually so might as well start early. I’ll just tell mom that me and Shoya are going for breakfast together.” Yuno says. “Then?” Bolta asks. “We’ll talk and see where it goes…I don’t know the specifics but I do know one thing. I’ve got you Bolta and I doubt him and his sword are better than me and you.” Yuno responds. “Hmm you got the right attitude kid, let's go.” Bolta says. Yuno grabs his stuff says bye to his family and heads out the door. Shoya is waiting outside bracing on a nearby lamppost. “Goodmorning Yuno.” Shoya says to Yuno with a smile. “Morning Shoya.” Yuno says back to Shoya as he shakes Shoya’s outstretched hand. “The bus stop is this way.” Yuno says. Hi and Shoya walk to the stop. The bus arrived before they could start talking. Yuno pays the fare for both of them. “Much appreciated Yuno.” Shoya says. “No problem, think of it as a way of paying you back for helping my sister.” Yuno responds. As they find their seats on the rocky bus Shoya says “I hope I didn’t upset you with that, I was just trying to be a good person.” “No, it's ok, I understand. I should apologize for grilling you. I didn’t mean to, I'm just protective of my sister.” Yuno says. As Shoya is about to respond, the bus throttles forward. “He’s really eager to get there isn’t he?” Shoya jokes. “Seems like no one’s at the stops.” Shoya adds. “It’s like that some mornings. We should be there soon if that’s the case.” Yuno says. “Hmm this town is much different from mine.” Shoya says. “What town would that be?” Yuno asks. As Shoya is about to respond the bus stops. “Oh look at that Yuno we’ve arrived at our stop.” Shoya says as he looks out the window. “It seems we have.” Yuno says as he stretches his head to look out the window. “It’s a really mixed day huh?” Shoya says as he exits the bus. “Yeah they said it might rain but then again the news is always wrong about the weather.” Yuno says. “So the school is that way?” Shoya asks as he points left. “Yup two blocks down and the school is there but it's going to open for another thirty minutes. I usually get here just when it’s about to open.” Yuno responds. “So I assume you’d be late most of the time then.” Shoya says as he laughs a little. “Haha sometimes I can’t be bothered to run but other times I have to.” Yuno responds. “So where do you wanna go before school starts.” Yuno asks. Shoya doesn’t respond but instead keeps looking at the school. “Shoya?” Yuno says again. Shoya looks to the floor and looks to Yuno and says “I bet now that you have that sword of yours you can get there quicker than ever huh?” The wind starts to blow. “Hmm rain you said? No it seems like wind… quite fitting that there’s no lightning don’t you think…” Yuno gulps and Shoya takes a couple steps away from him. “No need to be nervous Yuno…I know exactly what you are. And you know exactly what I am don’t you?” Shoya stops, pulls out his sword and turns around to face Yuno. The wind picks up even more. “You can see it can’t you? My sword…” The wind grows more powerful. “You feel that Yuno? This is what happens when two wielders come face to face. Especially with blades of our caliber.” Shoya says. “How rude of me…let me introduce you to my blade.” Shoya fully extends his sword and holds it up. “This is Poseidon. My great poison sword.” He points the sword at Yuno. Yubo quickly unsheaths Bolta. “Ah there it is the great lightning sword…granting the user super speed and lightning based attacks.” Shoya says as his smile fades. “How do you know about me and Bolta?” Yuno says as his heart races and his grip tightens on Bolta. “Bolta? That's a good name Yuno…” The wind picks up even more. “You don’t think I saw you the other day? You don’t think a sword as famous as yours wouldn’t have any admirers? My Poseidon here knows many blades, even those he has never gone up against himself.” Shoya says louder as the wind cuts through the air. “So you know about me and Bolta? Good job. That doesn’t matter. What side are you on Shoya? The good or the bad.” Bolta screams. “Well you saw me kill a man the other day so you tell me.” Shoya screams back. “But he was bad…maybe he didn’t deserve death but he was still bad.” Yuno responds loudly. “Those who do bad are sinners and sinners deserve death. We have the power to make the world a better place but it starts with getting rid of the ones who poison it. What better way to rid the poison than to poison them right back. Taste of their own medicine don’t you think. Your gonna have to get your head around that sooner or later.” Shoya screams to Yuno. Before Yuno can respond Shoya stops him and yells “Yuno, yesterday I was with Bianca…she’s your sister and you yourself said today that you're protective of her…now what if I were to shiver his sword right through her huh…would you kill me then.” “What did you just say?” Yuno responds angrily. “Are you trying to get me to kill you?” Yuno adds. “Who’s to say you can Yuno? Are you even strong enough? Are you brave enough to do it? Maybe you need an incentive. Maybe I’ll go over to your house right now and do it. And who knows maybe I can get your mother as well.” Yuno’s eyes widen and his hands start shaking. “Kid, he's just antagonizing you. Calm down.” Bolta says. “Shut up Bolta.” Yuno says angrily as his teeth grind together and his eyes widen. Bolta tries to shock Yuno but Uno just grips onto Bolta harder. “Don't you get in the way. Either you join me or I die trying…” Yuno growls at Bolta. “Wow kid…fine I’ll be there by your side but don’t let your emotions get the best of you.” Bolta says. Before he can add more Shiya screams “Did I strike a nerve or is fear washing over you? I’m guessing you must really need that incentive.” Shoya says as he grins. “THATS IT YOUR DEAD.” Yuno screams to him.

Scene 2 :

CLINK. Shoya’s sword collides with Yuno’s as Yuno dashes towards him. “I guess it’s time to fight.” Shoya says as he smiles at Yuno. “I’m going to end you.” Yuno says. Shoya jumps back and says “WAIT…here’s a proposition…you win this little duel and I tell you everything about me and my life and my plans. But if I win…well it’s simple really…I kill you. No hero who loses his first fight is fit to protect his world.” Yuno breaks out of his anger and freezes. “H-hero…how did you know that?” Just as Yuno’s standing there CLACK. Shoya had jumped to Yuno to hit with his sword. Yuno goes flying into a nearby building. The impact cracks the wall of the building. Yuno gets up and coughs up blood. “He’s strong…” Yuno says as he gets back up. “And fast too…” Yuno adds once he’s on his feet. Shoya jumps towards him again, slashing his sword. ZOOM. Bolts gets Yuno out of there. “YUNO GET YOUR HEAD IN THE GAME.” Bolta yells at Yuno. “Right, right, sorry.” Yuno says. All of sudden POW. Yuno catches a jab of Shoya’s sword's hilt in his stomach. “How did the great lightning sword ever choose yo-” SLASH. With the help of Bolta Yuno slashes Shoya on the side of his face. “AHH.” Shoya screams as he grabs his face. The scream turns into a sick smile as he feels the blood now trickle down from his open wound. ZOOM. Bolta zooms Yuno in a random direction. “FOCUS YUNO YOUR GOING TO FREAKIN DIE AT THIS RATE.” Bolta yells at Yuno. Yuno grounds his feet into the ground. “STOP.” He breathes in. He grips Bolta tight. “He’s going to get here soon, let's get to him before that.” Yuno says in a serious manner. “That’s the attitude that we need. LEAT GO.” Bolta screams. ZOOM. Yuno zooms toward Shoya. They collide once more. “Showing a little heart are we?” Shoya antagonizes Yuno. “I’m going to rip yours out.” Yuno says angrily. “Doubt that.” Shoya says as he plants his foot in the ground and slings his sword. The weight of his sword is able to push Yuno with such force. Yuno goes flying straight into a building. He looks around and notices something. “ITS THE SCHOOL!” Yuno exclaims to himself. He darts his head right away to the now gaping hole of the school walls and he sees Shoya getting closer and closer. “SLOW TIME.” Yuno screams. Shoya is still moving yet at a slower pace. “The sword raises his physical attributes.” Bolta says. “No time to focus on that.” Yuno says firmly. He stands up and raises his sword as fast and high as he can. He screams in pain as his body aches with every turn. “Focus every bit of lightning on the top of the sword.” Yuno commands. “Done, what now.” Bolta says. “Once he gets close enough we’ll hit the ground. It’ll cause a large sonic boom and a massive lightning wave.” Yuno says. “Which will blast him back and circuit out all the cameras in the area.” Bolta remarks. “Good plan kid.” Bolta adds. Suddenly Yuno screams “NOW!” Time resumes. The tip of Bolta strikes the ground. BOOM. Shoya gets pushed back and the cameras shatter. Windows break and more parts of the school fall apart. People run and scream. Yuno can’t focus on that now. His eyes lock on to Shoya who’s about to fall. Yuno gets up and prepares his next move. Time slows and Yuno dashes to Shoya, who free falls in slow motion, Yuno raises his sword to go to slash Shoya but then he starts coughing which causes him to lose focus on his control of time. Time resumes. Yuno gets caught off guard by the cough and time resuming. BANG. Yuno gets hit in the stomach by Shoya’s sword. Shoya goes to slash Yuno but Bolta zooms Yuno away. “We have to make sure to dodge that sword slash. One slash and you're out.” Bolta says. Yuno’s grip loosens on the sword and he falls to his knees. Yuno begins to cough and hold his chest. “Yuno what's the matter!!!” Bolta says alarmingly. “Can…cant…b..b…bre…brea…breath..” Yuno struggles to say. “Looks like you haven't quite figured it out yet.” Shoya says as he emerges from the dust clouds from fallen buildings. Bolta zooms Yuno away but is still in line of sight of Shoya. “See Yuno your defensive trait is that Bolta, as you've named your sword, can zip you away and you can also slow time, and while that is very very very impressive, mine is one that many underestimate…” Shoya states. Yuno starts to choke and cough even more. “And it seems that my defense trait seems to be more damaging than I thought, which is so funny to me because many wielders have had more than three defensive traits, I mean look at you Yuno, you have two ways of defense yet my one simple trait has you down on your knees. Quite pathetic if you ask me. Anyways my defensive trait is that when I'm almost going to get hit by an attack my sword Posiedon surrounds me in a bubble of poison but this trait is special because well it's invisible to everyone even wielders but it's not invisible to me.” Shoya continues menacingly. Yuno’s eyes start to close but he receives a shock from Bolta that makes his eyes widen. “Yuno you can't fade now…c’mon you have to get up.” Bolta says worried. Yuno gets up shakingly but falls back to his knees. He continues to cough, his eyes struggling to stay open. “B…B…Bo…” Yuno struggles to say. Before Bolta can respond Shoya laughs and throws his sword toward Yuno. CLING. Yuno rushes up to his feet and slashes Shoya’s sword away. Yuno goes to dash as time slows but he collapses to the floor. “I don't focus on outright attacking Yuno. My sword itself does damage. See I wasn't trying to hit you just threw it in your path to increase the effects of the sword.” Shoya explains. ZOOM. Bolta zooms Yuno away and Shoya was approaching to pick up his sword. “Bol…Bo…B…” Yuno tries to say. “What is it Yuno?” Bolta responds. “Do…D…Do…you…rem…em…ber…” Yuno struggles to say yet again. “Remember what Yuno?” Bolta says confused and alarmed. “His…hi…de…def..ense…” Yuno tries to say as his eyes shut. ZAP. Bolta shocks Yuno. ZOOM. Bolta zooms Yuno away even farther as he hears Shoya shouting get closer. “His defense?” Bolta questions as an ever fading Yuno nods his head. All of a sudden Bolta catches on from what Yuno is talking about. “The man Shoya had encountered when we saw him earlier.” Bolta exclaims. Yuno starts to fade. ZAP. Yunos eyes widen as he coughs. “Pla…pl…plan…” Yuno says as he struggles to get up. “Yuno take it easy.” Bolta says. “N…No…P…pla…plan.” Yuno struggles to say as he braces against a wall. “What's the plan Yuno?” Bolta asks. “Shock me…” Yuno manages to whisper to Bolta. ZAP. “What now?” Bolta asks. “Keep…sh..sho…shock…shocking…me…” Yuno says. “Huh?” Bolta responds confused. “Kee…keep…the ligh…lightning…run…running…through…me…” Yuno struggles to say as he walks out into the open. “Like just keep the lightning running through you? Yuno, that could cook you from the inside out…Are you sure?” Bolta says concerned. “Just do…it please…” Yuno says as he continues to grip harder onto Bolta. “If you say so Yuno…” Bolta says. Yuno stops as he sees Shoya in the distance. “One more thing….” Yuno says as he coughs. “What is it Yuno?” Bolya asks. “Everytime I’m about to pass out or just fade away shock me…” Yuno says shakily. “I'll give you a sign if you can’t tell by poking the hilt of the sword with my finger.” Yuno adds. “Even with the lightning running through you?” Bolta asks. Yuno nods. “Yuno even if Shoya loses and he doesn't kill you this tactic of your surely will.” Bolta says firmly. “I don't care we have to take him down Bolta, It’s time to prove ourselves.” Yuno says as he gets ready to dash to Shoya who hasn't noticed Yuno get back to his feet.

Scene 3 :

ZOOM. Yuno rushes towards Shoya who raises his sword and clashes with Yuno. The poison cloud engulfs Yuno but he doesn't fade. Shoya’s eyes widened. Those widened eyes then go back to normal as he starts to laugh. “So it seems you found a loophole…Well then guess you're not so pathetic. Lets see what you have Yuno.” Both Shoya and Yuno push their swords against each other as the rain begins to pour and the wind begins to howl. Lightning strikes the ground as shocks and lightning reverberate through Yuno’s body and the ground around him. Lightning strikes Shoya; he blocks several but some manage to slip through. He stumbles to his knees. ZOOM. Yuno appears next to Shoya and slashes at him. Shoya begins to bleed across his chest along with open wounds in his right shoulder and his ribs. Shoya then grips his sword and completely slashes at Yuno. Poseidon practically burns and rots through Yuno’s chest. Yuno falls to his knees and Shoya goes to slash at Yuno’s body straight down the middle as Shoya’s sword falls down toward Yuno’s head time slows. “YUNO GET UP!! YOU HAVE TO GET UP!!!” Bolta screams. “Bolta…” Yuno whispers. “Trust me…” Yuno adds. “YUNO YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT!!!” Bolta screams emotionally. “You can't leave Yuno. Not yet…” Bolta says. “Bolta…please trust me…do it.” Yuno says as he smiles. Time resumes. Shoya is about to slash right through Yuno when all of a sudden CRACKLE. Lightning strikes right through the open wound on Shoya’s chest. Shoya is stunned, the parking lot next to them crumbles, his sword falls to the floor, Yuno with every last bit of strength left zooms from the ground to right in front of Shoya. SLASH. Yuno pierces Shoya right through the stomach with his sword. He pulls his sword out. Shoya falls to the floor. Yuno falls to his knees. Shoya, bleeding out on the pavement, looks at Yuno and just laughs. The laugh fades slowly as Shoya’s head falls back onto the pavement. “You did it…I can't believe it…YOU FREAKIN DID IT YUNO!” Bolta says excitingly. Yuno smiles as he falls over. Yuno and Shoya have passed out.
