Scene 1:

Yuno wakes up. His alarm goes off. He throws his pillow at it but then raises up right away realizing that it’s Monday. “OH NO.” He tells himself as he runs to the bathroom. He grabs his tooth brush and jumps in the shower. He finishes up and hurry’s to put on his school uniform. He runs downstairs and grabs a plate from the table and shoves it in his bag. “MOM I'M LATE I'M GOING TO EAT ON THE BUS.” Yuno says as he runs out the house. Yuno’s family laughs as he’s stuffing his face and running to the bus stop. Yuno hops on the bus and puts his head down with his duffel. “So kid what’s the plan today?” Asks Bolta. “Hmm…well Bolta the plan is to ditch school after lunch and take care of all the crimes that come through on the radio.” Says Yuno. “Well is this a neighborhood where a lot of crime happens.?” Asks Bolta. “Well it depends, you never really know. Some days it’s peaceful and other days it’s like a madhouse but with the introduction of these weapons it’s going to get hectic.” Yuno says. Twenty minutes pass and Yuno gets off his bus. He walks into school and meets up with Alistair. Alistair runs and high-fives Yuno. “YO YUNO! WHATS UP!” Alistair says. “You are always so loud in the morning, my friend.” Yuno says as he and Alistair laugh. As they’re walking to class Yuno asks “Where’s Yuuchi and Taya?” “They’re in class waiting, they're pretty adamant on you walking home with us you know after the whole thing.” Alistair says. Yuno stops in his tracks and looks to Alistair and says “Well erm there’s a real problem with that my friend…” “Hmm.” Alistair responds. “Well I wanna ditch school after our lunch period to uhm… go to the new sushi bar.” Yuno says. “AHH WE COULD DITCH TOGETHER.”Alistair says as his eyes brighten. “YES LET'S EAT ALL THE SUSHI WE CAN.” Yuno responds. They both enter the classroom laughing. “Boys, you're late, take your seats please.” Their teacher says to them as they sit down at their table with Taya and Yuuchi. “What’re you boys laughing about?” Asks Taya. Yuuchi grabs Yuno’s face and looks him in the eyes and says “What are you and Alistair planning?” “Uhm nothing we just heard of a really funny joke.” Yuno says. Yuuchi let's go and looks to Taya and says “Yup, they're hiding something.” Taya looks at Yuuchi and asks “Does that really work?” Yuuchi nods. Taya looks at Alistair. “No no no no please don’t grab my face.” Alistair says as he tries to back away. Taya grabs his face and asks him “Alistair…what’re you and Yuno planning?” Alistair looks into Tayas eyes and finally breaks. “Alright fine fine fine Yuno and I plan to skip and go eat sushi for the rest of the day.” Taya lets go of Alistair's face and her and Yuuchi’s face turn to Yuno. Alistair looks at Yuno and says “I’m so so sorry buddy.” “It’s alright dude…I knew this would happen.” Yuno says. Yuuchi and Taya change their focus to Alistair now. “Yuuchi grabs Alistair by the collar and says “Listen here I’m not going to let you skip another day of classes your barely passing as is!!” Yuno starts laughing but then Taya grabs Yuno’s ear from behind and says “Don’t think you're safe either mister!! You scared us the other day with that hero stunt…” Yuuchi stops Taya and while still holding Alistair's collar says “Yeah and your grades aren’t any better than Ali’s.” Before Taya can continue with her rant Alistair says “Yuuchi I think your about to kill me.” as his eyes widen. “Well if you agree to come back to school after we have lunch maybe I won’t let you meet god yet.” Yuuchi says. Yuno begins to laugh again and Taya twists his ear even more and says “You are NOT going anywhere out of our sight you hear me.” Yuno nods as he tears up from the pain. Yuuchi and Taya sit back down and fist bump. Alistair and Yuno both slump down in their chairs. “You guys' school isn’t that bad.” Taya says. “Yeah plus we’re here and also if you guys actually paid attention you guys would see that the teachers are pretty cool as well.” Yuuchi says. Alistair and Yuno look at them and then look at eachother and stick to tongues out and say in unison “Blehhhh.” Ten minutes pass and Yuno asks to go to the bathroom. As he’s walking to the bathroom Yuno says to himself “Ouch totally not a good morning.” “Yeah you think so you bonehead.” Bolta says. “Wait, what did I do wrong now?” Yuno says. “Well you planned to skip lunch to finally train for combat.” Bolts says. “Uhm yeah.” Yuno says. “Kid do you not know where this is going?” Bolta says. “Uhm not really.” Yuno says. “Ugh you know kid you surprise me with how stupid you can be sometimes.” Bolta says. Before Yuno can explain why he’s not stupid Bolta interrupts and says “ Before you throw a fit kid let me explain it to you. You said you’d skip school to practice sword combat. But you leaked your plan to your loud mouthed friend. Then you proceeded to forget about your plan and think about sushi. And now your other friends who I admit do have the right intentions plan to not leave you out of their sight. See what I’m saying kid?” Yuno stops and looks into the bathroom mirror and his jaw drops. “Oh crap.”

Scene 2:

Yuno heads back to the classroom and panics on how his plan can go smoothly. Four hours pass and it’s finally time for lunch. Yuno, Yuuchi, Taya and Alistair head to a nearby cafe. Everyday they spin a wheel on who chooses the place to eat. The wheel today landed on Yuuchi and she wanted to go to the cafe for some baked goods and of course a hot coffee. Taya also loves the bakery but purely for the pastries and the aroma. However the smell of the cafe nauseated Alistair and the smell of freshly baked bread just made Yuno’s stomach turn. Even though they hate going to this spot they deal with it because it makes both Taya and Yuuchi happy. They all get food and sit down at a table outside. Taya had ordered a hot chocolate, Yuuchi had gotten a mini pastry platter with a peppermint latte, Alistair just took a small strawberry cake and Yuno feeling nervous about pulling off his plan only got a couple freshly baked oatmeal cookies. “Yuno you sure you don’t want anything else?” Yuuchi asks “Yeah bro I can give you a piece of cake.” Alistair adds. Yuno shakes his head no. “Well guys what can you expect Yuno hates the smell of baked bread so I think he just feels sick.” Taya says. “Well Yuno, if it's that bad we can just go another place. I don’t wanna make you and evidently Alistair feel bad.” Yuuchi says. “Well Yuuchi you can’t really count Alistair seeing as food calms him down.” Taya says before Yuno can respond. “It’s alright I love the cookies they have here and I usually get the lemon or coconut cake but they were out. And you guys always go to the places me and Alistair wanna go too even though it’s not your style so it’s the least I can do for you.” Yuno says as he smiles at Yuuchi. Yuuchi smiles back and everyone starts eating. Alistair of course finishes his meal first and he gets up to get another but looking at his wallet. “Don't worry buddy I can get you another one.” Yuno says as he sees that Alistair's wallet is empty. “Nah dude you don’t have to.” Alistair pleads to Yuno. “No it’s ok I can do it.” Yuno says. Yuno walks to the register about to order another slice of cake for Alistair when all of a sudden his bag starts to ring. “Oh no the talkie is going off…what do I do?” Yuno says to himself. Just as Yuno is standing there confused on what to do he hears Alistair call out to him and says “Yo Yuno, you ok buddy, you sure you have enough.” “Yeah yeah I'm sure it's alright.” Yuno responds. Yuno gets another slice of cake to Alistair and sits down. Once again he can feel the buzzing of the walkie talkie in his bag. Not knowing what to do Yuno’s heart starts to elevate faster and faster when all of a sudden an idea struck in Yunos head but it was one that had to wait a few more minutes. “I recognize that look on your face, kid. What's the plan?” Bolta says. Yuno doesn't respond but instead looks at his watch. Ten minutes left within the lunch period. “Ten minutes left which means that we have to start heading back anytime soon…Before we have to leave I can head to the bread section and unfortunately inhale the aroma.” Yuno thinks to himself. A couple more minutes pass by and everyone is starting to get up. “Bingo.” Yuno mutters to himself. “Huh,” Taya says. “Oh no nothing I just thought it would be a good idea to pick up something for my mom and dad maybe.” Yuno says. “Do you think you have enough time for that bro?” Alistair asks. Yuno nods and heads to the bakery. Yuno heads to the bread section and takes a deep breath in. With every second he stands there he feels his stomach turn more and more. After a few more seconds he runs into the bathroom. Yuno vomits into the toilet. “Hmm he's been in there a while you think he's alright?” Alistair asks. “You think he's trying to leave to actually skip?” Taya asks. “Nah trust me if he did that he would have taken me too.” Alistair says. Taya smacks him in the back of the head. “Oww. I was only kidding…sorta.” Alistair says as he rubs his head. Yuuchi laughs and says “You guys go, I'll go check on him.” Alistair and Taya go back to the school and Yuuchi heads inside the bakery. “Yuno…Yuno” Yuuchi calls out. “Hmm I wonder if he could've gone. I wonder if he actually did ditch us.” Yuuchi continues to walk around to try and find Yuno. ‘Hey you…” Yuuchi turns around. She sees the bakery cashier looking at her. “Me?” Yuuchi asks. ‘Yeah you. Are you looking for your friend?” The guy asks her. Yuuchi nods. “Follow me," he says. He takes her to the other room of the bakery where the bathrooms are located and points to the men's room and says “I saw him run in here he didn't look too good.” “OH thank you so much.” Yuuchi says as she runs to the bathroom door. “Yuno…you in there…you ok?” Yuuchi asks. “Yeah I'm ok, it's just the smell of the bread was too much.” Yuno says. “Is there anything I can do to help?” Yuuchi asks. “No no I was on the phone with my mom asking her what cookies she would like and she heard me throw up unfortunately so she's coming to pick me up right now.” Yuno says. “Oh…is there anything else I can do for you in the meantime?” Yuuchi asks. “No no Yuuchi its alright i promise. Just head to class and tell Taya and Alistair that I'm not feeling too well.” Yuno says. “Ok Yuno I hope you feel better.” Yuuchi says. She's about to walk away but turns back and says “Yuno, are you sure you're going to be ok on your own.” “Yuuchi i promise i'll be fine i appreciate how much you guys worry for me…” Yuno stops as he opens the door. “But I'll be fine, I promise.” Yuno says to Yuuchi. He smiles at her and she smiles back. She hugs him and says bye as she runs back to school. Yuno continues to look at the window making sure Yuuchi isn't in sight. “I knew you had some type of plan, kid.” Bolta says to Yuno. “Yeah well hopefully god forgives me for all the lying I've been doing as payback for saving the world.” Yuno says. “Yeah you're coming into your own when it comes to hiding this other not so super hero like life you”ve been living. At this point you deserve an academy award.” Bolta responds to Yuno. “Alright she's gone, let's get out of here. I get enough looks when I carry what looks like an invisible stick around. I don't need to look for what seems to be me talking to myself.” Yuno says as he grabs the rest of his stuff and heads out the door. “Did you just insult my figure?” Bolta asks jokingly. Yuno cracks a smile as he heads down the nearest alleyway. “So talk to me kid, what's the plan here?” Bolta asks. “Well my plan was to just inhale the scent of baked bread which I hate which would then make me sick and then lie so they would all leave me on my own and now we can go to these crime scenes to practice combat. So what do you think about that?” Yuno asks. “Wait, you don't like the scent of baked bread?” Bolta asks. Yuno turns to bolta and he says “Really? That's all you got from this.” Yuno sighs and gets the walkie talkie out. He listened to the last few places mentioned in the reports. He gets up, takes a deep breath and gets into position to speed to the location when Bolta stops him and asks him “Wait a lot of time has passed don't you think they've responded already?” Yuno’s eyes widened as he said “Oh crap.”

Scene 3:

Yuno speeds to location one and sees that the cops are already there at the scene. “Damn it.” Yuno says to himself as he speeds away. Location number two is also a no go as the police department had already responded and once again it didn't look good. Yuno speeds out of that location into another random alleyway. Yuno starts punching the wall over and over. “Damn it damn it damn it DAMN IT!!!!” Yuno screams with anger. He looks down at his fists which have now become bruised and bloodied. “Yuno calm down. There's still other chances and you can't save everyone.” Bolta says. “I'M FAST ENOUGH TO SAVE SO MANY PEOPLE YET I COULDN'T BE THERE TO SAVE THESE PEOPLE!” Yuno screams to Bolta as he begins to tear up. “Yuno get up, there's still one more chance.” Bolta says. “Huh.” Yuno says as he wipes his face. “Look at the talkie.” Bolta says. The talkie starts buzzing again and Yuno hears the next address. “Pick yourself up kid, let's go save someone.” Bolta says. Yuno gets up, dusts himself off and speeds to the next location. As he's running there He suddenly stops and gets dashed to the top of a nearby building. “What the hell?” Yuno says. “Stay put now.” Bolta says. “But-” Yuno says. “Listen to me kid, it's important now you have to stay put.” Bolta says firmly. “What is so important then?” Yuno asks. “I sense one,” Bolta says. “What?” Yuno says. “I sense another wielder.” Bolta says. Yunos' eyes widened. “Look over the edge but stay hidden. The blade he has wont sense us because he's focused on battle right now.” Bolta says. Yuno looks down and sees a silver-haired boy holding a giant long green sword adorned with gold accents and a red gemstone right above the hilt. “Woah look at that blade.” Yuno says. Yuno looks farther into the alleyway and sees a man trying to hide what seems to be a bag of what can only be stolen goods. The boy stops and swings his blade towards the trash can. Within seconds the trash can starts to rust and wilt away. “What the hell.” Yuno whispers in disbelief at what he's seeing.”What is this blade Bolta?” Yuno asks. “That's the blade of poison. Its size means its powerful physically of course but also its main element of poison can be used in many complex ways. Never in the lifespan of any wielder have I come against that blade.” Bolta explains. “You think he's on our side or not?” Yuno asks. “Well he seems cool headed and methodical but you can never tell especially with the poison element.” Bolta says. As Yuno is about to ask more the boy gets closer to the man and the man starts choking. “Stealing is a sin. Sinners must pay.” With one swipe a cut forms across the man's chest. With every step the boy takes away from the man the cut begins to rot and the man screams in pain. He starts to pick up his stuff when he looks directly in Yuno’s direction. Yuno ducks and speeds out of there. Yuno speeds directly home. He opens the door to see his mom is home. As he is about to approach his mom he throws up on the floor. “Oh honey what's the matter?” Yunos mom says as she runs to get a rag. “Oh my god, mom I'm so sorry I just felt sick we went to the bakery today… is it ok if i go lay down for a few in my room.” Yuno says. “Of course honey, are you sure you're going to be ok?” Yunos' mom asks. “Yeah mom.” Yuno says softly as he goes up the stairs. Yuno opens his door, puts his bag on the floor, puts Bolta in the chair and lays in his bed. Twenty minutes pass. “Kid you alright?” Bolta asks. “How can I stop someone like that Bolta…You saw how strong he was. The guy was choking from being even next to him. That cut he had was poisoned to the point where the man essentially wilted away.” Yuno says as he buries his head into the pillow. “Kid you don’t even know if he’s an enemy.” Bolta points out. “Well we won’t know unless we test him. The only problem with that is that he seems to know his blade better combat wise. He didn’t even talk to it once.” Yuno says. “Well kid here’s some shocking news, not all wielders talk to their blades, in fact many wielders don’t even acknowledge their blades. Instead they look to them as a mere extension of their power.” Bolta says. “And you think that’s what he’s doing ?” Yuno asks. “Well I’m in no place to say what he’s doing but I know one thing for sure.” Bolta says. “What’s that?” Yuno asks. “He's going to be your first combat test and just as he has his blade by his side you have me by yours Yuno. Together we can do it.” Yuno picks his head up and says “Yeah maybe we can.” Yuno closed his eyes and his nap that was supposed to be only an hour lasted until the next morning.
