As Moon was walking back to her cave after they had lunch, she was thinking. She was wondering why a Seawing would just suddenly attack Winter. Especially Queen Coral's top general Sharkk. It just didn't make sense. As she reached her cave she saw Winter lying on his Ice ledge reading a scroll. He heard her and put it down to see who was here, when he saw it was Moon he grunted slightly and turned to face the wall.
Moon sighed, she picked one of her homework scrolls and began to work on it on the flat rock table next to her leaf bed. So far this stupid school had been horrible, with her getting a clawmate who hated her, some unfriendly and strange classmates, and while trying to help one of her classmates she ended up getting attacked by a Seawing.
After Moon finished her homework she still had some time before nightfall so she decided to go exploring. After a while she stumbled into a dark cave with no sunlight, it also had a small, peaceful lake. As she approached it, suddenly a dragon head poked out of the water, it was a seawing.
Moon shrieked in terror, thinking it was Shark before she realised it was only Turtle.
"Hey Moon, is something wrong" Turtle asked her.
"No, sorry I thought you were someone else" Moon replied.
"Neat cave right? I mean it is dark but it's still really peaceful. And the water is surprisingly warm too." Turtle told her.
"Ok. Can I go in too" Moon requested.
"Sure"
Moon spent a few minutes swimming around and making use of her night-vision to see inside the water while Turtle just lay on the bottom of the lake being lazy. Eventually she got bored and decided to go and try and explore some more, maybe she could find her own lake cavern with some warmer water, because this one, despite Turtle's words, was miraculously, cold.
Soon she found another but she heard some noises at the bottom of it. There was also a big beam of sunlight shining through the rocky roof into a spot in the lake. As Moon got closer she saw a seawing who looked like Turtle lazing in the beam of light.
"What do you want Nightwing" the Seawing said to her quite rudely
"Nothing, I was just exploring" Moon replied.
"Be on your way then"
"Ok" Moon said cautiously
She slipped out of the cavern and went to the library. As she entered the room she saw Starflight sorting a box of scrolls onto some shelves. His ears perked up as he heard her soft footsteps.
"Moon? Is that you" Starflight called out.
"Yes, I just came to try and find some interesting scrolls to read. I finished the ones in my cave"

"Ok, also when you leave I have something for you" Starflight answered.
Moon nodded before mentally slapping herself when she remembered Starflight was blind. She gave a courteous but shy ok and proceeded to read an interesting book called "The Frost Plight" by Crystal of the Second Circle of the Icewings. After she was going to leave she remembered what Starflight had said and went to him. He told her he was setting up a Library system to keep track of which student borrowed which books to make sure students didn't forget to return them by reminding these students and also to make sure they didn't keep them without Starflight knowing. Moon signed up for a library card to stamp on a scroll Starflight kept and decided to borrow "The Frost Plight" to finish it later and wrote her name next to the book's name and stamped her stamp next to it on his sheet.
"Oh also Moon, I heard a little about the incident today. Can you tell me what happened and if you are doing ok" Starlfight asked her.
"Well, um my first day hasn't been going very well. There's this Skywing in my winglet, Carnelian, who just hates me for no reason. And this Icewing who just switches from being nice to mean. One minutes he's standing up for me to Carnelian, the next he's insulting me. Then he got attacked by a Tsunami's Uncles, Commander Shark, and we managed to hold him at bay for a bit until the others got here.
Starflight was shocked and told her to have a good day. He was muttering to himself as he left the room, intending to go to Tsunami's cave, and then the teachers "lounge" to find her.
She then left to go to her cave where she saw Winter lying down, still as if he were asleep but she could hear his mind racing.. She spent a few minutes looking out a small window covered by leaves, admiring the shining moon and stars shimmering far away but with a joyful bright light.
Suddenly a sharp pain exploded in her head and she collapsed to the floor. She could faintly hear Winter turning toward her. She could see a flurry of blurry images. A severely scarred Skywing in chains, inside a dark tower, a room of murdered dragonets of all different tribes, herself lying on the ground, a sharp, long object in her chest, and Winter crouching next to her with a shocked expression.
A dragon from the towers
Lingering in the dark
Forgotten but not gone
Revenge clouding her mind
Escaped from the catacombs
Of a prison made of steel
She hunts those responsible
Two beings from different worlds
Both longing for each other
Going against their tribes
Can only lead to darkness
They fight until the end
Until they realise their suffering
Has to come, to an end.
LOL I know that's a terrible prophecy but I've never been good at poems and stuff so yeah. :| oof.
"Moon? Moon?"
Moon could hear someone saying her name faintly, before her senses came too and she saw Winter standing over her with a concerned face.
"I-i'm fine" Moon said shakily.
"Ok, good. What was that you were saying just now?" Winter asked.
Crap he heard that. Oh no what am I gonna tell him?
"It was from a really good scroll I read. I have really bad headaches sometimes and then random phrases from my memory" Moon lied.
Winter nodded as though he believed Moon but inside his mind was a different take on this.
That is a really weird condition. She is almost certainly lying. But why? Why would she do this. Infact what she said almost sounded like...a...prophecy! But those powers don't exist anymore, right? Hmm, maybe she did that for attention. Disgusting Nightwing.
But Winter thought those last three sentences with a little less gusto.
"Do you need help or need to go to the nurse?" Winter said in a bored voice with a hint of concern.
"No, I'm fine now. We should get to sleep now" Moon told him.
They both lay on their respective beds and slowly fell into a deep sleep.
