Winter's Perspective
Winter noticed something was wrong the first class the next day with Moon. She was stuttering even more than usual and seemed...well not shy but nervous. Anxious. Afraid. He then noticed what looked like a set of talon marks on her arm. Not bad, or deep, but it was there, and it would have hurt. His fury boiled over as he thought of who might hurt her, but he decided to wait until the end of class to ask her what happened.
When the bells rang and the class started streaming out of the cave and going to the next class, Winter pulled Moon aside in the hallway, still walking to class but more talking.
"What happened?" Winter asked Moon briskly, but looking at her with concern.
"What? How do you know something happened" Moon asked confused but a little relieved.
"I can tell when something is wrong with someone. I'm good at reading people. So tell me. What happened?"
"If I tell you, you won't tell anyone right?" Moon asked him.
He agreed and she told him about Flame. About his Dragon Viper powdered venom and how he had harassed her with it and threatened her.
Winter realised he was grinding his teeth, and he felt as if he had all the fires of hell burning inside. He didn't know why but he felt resolute that HE WOULD beat up Flame.
"Also I have a question. Why did you tell me what happened. Especially since Flame threatened you?" Winter asked softly.
"Well...I think it's because I trust you. So far you've been nice to me, and you've stood up for me." Moon said just as quiet.
He stood, dumbfounded as she walked past him, her tail gently brushing against his, as she entered the classroom. He felt as if something in his brain..clicked. As if something had unlocked and it was less sophisticated and more messy than the rest of his mind.
HOW COULD SHE TRUST ME!?!? I am literally the most untrustworthy and the most mean dragon in our winglet. Wouldn't anyone, even Carnelian or Qibli (well maybe not Carnelian) be better to tell this secret.
In any case he went to class, knowing whatever had happened in his brain, he would dwell on it for a while.

Now they were back in class, apparently under even MORE revision, the model of a cell was pushed forward for tomorrow's lesson. Right now, Winter and Moon were working on it, and so far it was going ok, but they were not going to be done by the end of the lesson at this pace.
Right now Moon was handling making the endoplasmic reticulum (I honestly have no idea what that is lol) and Winter was trying to do the Mitochondria and failing spectacularly. His serrated claws made it especially hard to mold the Clay, since it made lots of unwanted cuts and slashes.
The bells ended and Moon walked out with Winter. She was carrying the model and clay.
"I'll take the model and clay back to our cave, why don't head to history now Winter." Moon told him, carrying the model cautiously so as not to drop it.
"Well, I agree. But I'll come with you anyway. To make sure nothing happens to the model" He added as she looked surprised.
And to make sure nothing happens to you
Moon looked down and then looked up again smiling at him, and he could see the fading of a blush on her cheeks.

"Yeah, sure Winter." Moon said smiling.

As they filed into History class they saw the others already there, and Webs looked up at them and glared at them.
"Well, I'd expect you to be late Winter, but not you Moon. Both of you, look at the seating plan and go to your seat." Webs harrumphed.
At the end of class, while everyone else was filing out Webs asked them to stay back for a moment. So they stood awkwardly for a minute, Web's just staring at them intently. It was almost weird.
"Look, I know you're all forming new relationships and trying out new things but you still need to be on time to class ok. Keep school stuff separate from personal stuff and don't let that interfere with your education." Webs told them.
Both Moon and Winter nodded. He saw Moon was blushing before he realised he was too
"Thanks sir. But we weren't doing...whatever you thought we were doing. For science we have a project to make a model and we were taking it back to our cave to finish later" Moon said awkwardly.
"Alright, I believe you. But I can tell when there is something going on between dragons and you too are no secret. Anyway you should be getting to your next class now" Webs said to them, smiling slightly.
They were both relieved to be out of there and they started walking toward the next class with a note saying Webs had kept them in class for being late.
Woh woh woh woh. No way do I like the Moon that way. How-how could I like a nightwing that way, I'm an Icewing. But why did I blush like that before. And why do I get so protective with Moon. Maybe I do love her.
Winter saw her blush again. Huh, maybe she just blushes a lot.

Moon's POV
Quibli was sitting uncomfortably close to Moon at the prey centre, just as he had been doing the last few days. She would have thought someone as smart as him would have realised she didn't like him after she would scoot away and he would scoot on with her. Or he did and he just didn't care that she didn't like him. Especially after she heard the fight between them.
Kinkajou asked Quibli to move away from Moon and he agreed, apologizing to her, but he didn't mean it, Moon knew this from looking into his mind.
"Well, if it isn't the lying little Nightwing. I thought we had a deal idiot" a familiar voice snarled at her. It was Flame.
Moon reluctantly looked up at the red dragon, glaring at her like she had killed every single Skywing except him.
"I don't know what you're talking about," Moon replied, avoiding eye contact.
Oh no what if my friends find out. They'll surely report it to the teacher and I'll get in trouble too for not reporting it at first. And how did he find out? The only person I told was...Winter.
Moon scowled at Winter and hissed "You told!? I trusted you!"
"No! I Swear I didn't tell anyone!" Winter said, surprised.
She looked into his mind to see if he was really trustworthy. She promised herself she would never do this but it was too important this time. Thankfully he wasn't lying.
Moon looked sorry and said "Sorry, I guess I just panicked".
"Uh, wait so what's happening" Turtle spoke for the first time this lunch
"Well, let me explain. This little brat saw me with something she shouldn't have and snitched to someone even though I told her not too.
"You do realize that you just admitted you did something bad openly to FIVE dragons, right" Kinkajou asked him, raising her eyebrows. (Do dragons even have eyebrows!?!?!?!?)
"So" Flame snorted.
Oh I'm such a friggin idiot. I can't believe I said that, I can't stop all of them from telling and the Icewing looks like he wants to fight me. Oh crap.
Suddenly Moon felt sharp claws grab her arm and haul her to her feet, gripping her arm so hard it started to bleed a little. "Hey, hey stop. Get of me" Moon said to him, raising her voice which did absolutely nothing.
Flame glared at her. "You're gonna pay for this Nightwing lizard. Just you wait until-"
Flame suddenly yelped in pain but he still had a grip on Moon that suggested he wasn't letting go soon.
"Let. Her. Go. Now"
Moon was shell shocked that Winter, off all dragons, was standing and pinning Flame's tail to the floor.
Flame faltered for a millisecond before acting tough again. "You wanna go popsicle? Cause I''l bash you right here and-"
Flame grunted in pain as Winter sucker punched him and he stumbled away from them.
So satisfying to image this lmao
Moon's heart was racing and now she moved away again as Quibli tried to put his wing around her for comfort. When she did this she saw a vaguely sad expression on his face for a moment.
Winter left and Flame decided to go harass someone else. Moon decided to go talk to him, but not before a snarky comment from Quibli about how she just wanted to spend time with him.
"So you followed me huh. Guess you wanted to say thanks. It's no big deal, you don't have to say any corny stuff." Winter told her.
"Well uh, I guess I don't have to know" Moon said softly.
Winter looked kinda guilty at killing the mood.
They both went their separate ways but one question stayed in Moon's mind. Who had overheard Moon telling Winter and told Flame.
