In a particular home, of a particular magician, someone received an unwelcome wake-up call.
“Human I beg you to free me from these chains. I know my actions had caused you great problems, but please listen to my explanation,” pleaded a chained goddess.
“Shut up, can’t a guy get some sleep? The mental exhaustion is great when you’re constantly summoned,” said the magician, as he got out of bed.
“My apologies human, but I believe that if you give me some time to explain the current circumstances. Then you would understand my actions.”
Despite receiving pleads of a goddess, the magician was not the type to help everyone in need. Instead, he was taught over and over, from experience, that good intentions would always be abused. So ignoring pleads for help was the best option for the magician unless the reward was something he could not turn down. Yet finding such an award was difficult in itself.
“Didn’t I have those chains be able to block mental powers?” the magician pondered.
“Yes, they are able to prevent most mental powers,” spoke the goddess, “But I’m currently using most of my abilities and energy to talk to you telepathically. So please…”
Being pestered through his morning routine, the magician wondered if she increases the powers in the chains that bonded the goddess. Hearing the magician’s ponder the goddess became desperate. If she did not make the right decisions the only path she could take left was being forced to watch her world die.
“Please don’t,” pleaded the goddess, “Please hear my explanation and give me your assistance in power or knowledge. I will reward you handsomely.”
“Hah, I doubt anything you can give me would be worthwhile.”
“I can give you my divine blessing and allow you to have free will to use it for anything you want.”
“I rather become a god myself instead of being in a contract with one.”
“I can give you some of my divine power.”
“Nope, my magic is several times more efficient than that.”
“I can provide my Ichor, blood of a god.”
“That’s just any old blood full of divine magic.”
“Maybe my tears could work?”
“A goddess’ tear is just a liquid magic stone with healing properties.”
“How about…”
The telepathic haggling continued as the magician rejected all the rewards the goddess suggested. After a while, the goddess brought up the option of helping the magicians with his lady friends. Only to be called an idiot. If she ever attempted to appear in front of them she should instead visit death, himself, with open arms. The goddess even went as far as to bring up the option of immunity against the world’s rule. This would give the magician immunity to the punishments of breaking taboos and heavenly laws. The magician retorted saying that it was for the wrong world.
“WOULD YOU PLEASE JUST TAKE UP THE OFFER, I KNOW YOU HUMANS ARE STUBBORN BUT THIS, THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE!” a third party interjected, “You were given a chance at so many rewards anyone would literally die for and you turn them down! What’s with you?”
The magician complained, “Geez, even if you’re a god don’t just interrupt. Know some courtesy.”
“What is a mortal haggling with a god for?”
“What is a god involving themselves with mortal affairs for?”
Another god had joined the endless battle that is convincing the particular stubborn magician. It has been foretold that if the magician disappeared for a day from his world, a disaster would happen. Yet this disaster had already begun.
“Molestia, let me handle this,” spoke the interjecting god.
The interjecting god descended to the mortal world. He made sure to conceal his magical energy and divine presence. Preventing himself from being hunted by religious beings and people who want fresh materials.
Descending next to the magician, who was currently having breakfast, the god spoke, “Hey, buddy I know you are having problems to deal with, but why not go to another world for a short break.”
Annoyed, the magician replied, “Don’t buddy-buddy me. I remembered last time, you tried to kill me for destroying half of your faith.”
“Good times right? Hahaha.”
“Another time there was a high priest who sought for my hand in marriage. She went as far as making it a crusade. I’m pretty sure you set that up also.”
“Hey, at least you’re still alive, right? How about this, you go to the other world while I postpone your problems here until you get back. Not only that, once you die I’ll help you keep your memories and research for your next life. Also, I’ll exclude you from any heavenly involvement or problems.”
“If another world war happens will you fix it?”
“I’ll turn back time for the world. I’ll even let you keep your memory and experiences from the forgotten time if I ever did.”
With a sinister grin, the magician nodded, “Deal.”
Originally the magician was a kind and caring person, but the twisted reality of the magical world, full of greed and envy, caused him to close off his personality and go into hiding. But like all walls, every so often the magician’s kindness would leak out. Due to many misunderstandings, he had to become the person everyone thought he was. If he did not pose as the strongest, many people would recklessly confront him due to underestimations and then things would devolve into chaos.
Having achieved a deal where he would not be held with responsibility the magician began his work in another world. From the goddess, he learned that out of the fitting candidates to be summoned he was the only one who got caught by the summoning circles. Pledging himself to never reveal the fact, he requested about the problem of Tedium. The information that the goddess told him, he hypothesized that there was a deficiency in the amount of magic circulating in the world.
Similar to how the worlds have water currents and heat circulation, the world also has a magic circulation. Unlike the other phenomenon, magic circulation can be used up. The way to replenish the world’s magic was to- (insert very long explanation of magic circulation here) -In the end, all living beings consume energy and magic via everyday actions.
“Now that I told you the problem, could you release me from these chains?” Requested the goddess.
“I’ll lessen the burden, but I’m not freeing you. Bye.”
To the goddess’s despair, she could only watch as the magician disappeared.
Pop.
Returning to the first place he was summoned, the magician brought over a large surge of magic into the world of Tedium. Soon after arriving the magician began using his own magic to destroy and dispel any useless enchanted contraptions.
Due to the sudden surge of magic, people within the castle rushed to the scene only to witness the magician casting unfathomable magic. Seeing the various spells being casted, the guards attempted to stop the magician, but only to be knocked away the next moment.
After a while, the magician was confronted by people who seem to be a king, a magic user, and a priest. To the shock of the king and the mage, they realized the person was the one they summoned earlier. On the other hand, the priest’s face was red as a cherry.
“What are you doing, and why are you here?” The mage asked first.
“The goddess informed me about the problem here, so I’m here to fix it. Excuse me, I need to get through”
“The goddess?” asked the priest.
“Yes, I already received the payment.”
“Payment?”
“Yes.” Spoke the magician as he lifted the priest’s chin. A small grin was all that was needed.
Suddenly the priest fainted, right then and there. Surprised at the sudden turn of events, the onlookers could only stare in disbelief as they watched the magician leisurely walked away. Snapping out of the confusion first, the magic user rushed to the magician.
“Why didn’t you help earlier, when we summoned you?” asked the magic user, while looking at the magician’s ear.
“Would you help your kidnapper?” replied the magician.
“W-well no, but now you’re here you should-”
“Don’t make up a dumb story. I already know the situation, so let me do my job here.”
“O-ok… this magic…”
“It’s nothing big, you guys need to learn to manage your magic usage. You keep using it up before it can regenerate.”
“We are?”
Realizing the carelessness of the people of this world, the magician began to explain the process of managing magic and the reasons why. Seeing her foolishness and incompetents on the subject of magic the mage made a bold declaration.
“I, Elizabeth Mia, the Court Mage of the royal family pledge my life to be your disciple, to walk the path that you create and follow you until the end of time.”
“No,” the magician declined while rubbing his ears checking to see if anything was on it.
“Eh? Why not!?”
“A few reasons, mostly because there are people after my research, some are after my power, and some are after my body.”
“But can I at least learn some knowledge from your world to allow me to improve the current state of magic in Tedium?”
Thinking about it for a moment the magician agreed. He did not think he would ever return to Tedium again, so there was no harm in letting someone witness him conducting magic. But he would not directly teach the magic user. Instead, Elizabeth could only watch and attempt to understand what the magician was doing. This relationship was not exactly one of master and student, instead, it was an actor and an audience
Bowing, the mage said, “Ok, Master.”
Scratching his cheek, “That’s a bit…”
“It’s fitting if we compared you to I, you are on a master level of magic. Whilst I am on the level of a mere servant who barely knows anything about magic.”
The magician let out a sigh, “Whatever floats your boat.”
After agreeing to the spontaneous request, the magician finished his magic cleansing within the castle. He then proceeded into town to do the same, with Elizabeth accompanying him. They walked through back alleys and populated roads, looking for things to dispel. Elizabeth, being a court mage, had the power and prestige to prevent anyone from questioning or restricting the magician's actions.
After a few hours of dispelling and explanations, someone suddenly reached out and grabbed the magician’s arm. Looking at whatever latched to his arm, the magician noticed a grinning young lady with white hair, red eyes, and sharp canine teeth. A shiver ran up his spine.
A small giggle came from the young lady. “I didn’t expect us to meet again so soon.”
“My apologies, but who might you be?” asked the magician, with a wry smile.
“Ah? You forgot the one you nearly killed?”
“Sorry, but I had nearly killed a lot of people, so it doesn’t trigger a memory.”
“Well, you did also break the wall of my home”
“Oh…”
Hearing that he broke the young ladies’ wall, the magician still could not figure out who the person was. So instead of saying he still did not know, he acted as if he did. When the white-haired lady heard the magician, she grinned brightly. She told the magician that she desired to return the gift he gave her, but she did not have it on her at the moment. Even when the magician insisted that she could keep the blanket, the young lady began to cry. As colored drained from his face he agreed to go with her to her home, even if he saw through the crocodile tears.
“Master who is this?” asked Elizabeth.
“She’s one of the people who summoned me, apparently.”
”Eh?” “What?” Both of them questioned the weird explanation.
Deciding to explain the events that had transpired, he told them an abridged version of the story while he avoided mentioning a few things. Hearing the smooth and concrete story both of the ladies understood the bazar situation.
“Madam, please don’t run off. This one is learning but if you run off I can’t- Ah, it’s the sacred one!”
A young female with cat ears and a tail came running to the white-haired young lady, but once she saw the magician she fell to the ground and bowed. Seeing this the magician held a conflicted smile, he remembered horrible experiences due to similar situations. Before he could fall into despair, remembering his past, he was distracted by the ears and tail the girl had. He could not figure out whether or not the ears were real. The goddess had said Tedium had a similar setting to the some of the fantasy stories of his world, yet he was still skeptical even if it was true. but he does at least desire to touch them at least once.
Complaining, the magician spoke, “Anyways I never got your name, ma’am. Also, could you let go of my arm, please.”
“Sorry but I won’t,” declined, the young lady, “But let me introduce myself and my servant. I’m Luna Cordelia, the vampire of the moonlight, and this is Chi Yuri, of the cat beast tribe, one of my servants.”
“It’s my pleasure, sacred one,” Chi greeted.
After hearing the introduction of the vampire and the cat women, the magician and the mage introduced themselves. After an hour or so had passed the magician finished searching through the city. They all then headed to go to Luna’s home as promised. Making the best of the situation they made Luna’s home their base of operations. It would take a few hours to get there on foot, so the magician decided it would be faster to use flight magic to travel.
This tale has been unlawfully obtained from Royal Road. If you discover it on Amazon, kindly report it.
“Oh, by the way, if you’re a vampire than how are you surviving in the sunlight?” asked the magician, thinking about his world’s folklore.
“Your blessing,” Luna answered, “For allowing me to bath in the sunlight, please, allow me to return the favor.”
“Oh, sacred one please give me your blessing too,” pleaded Chi.
“It’s just a magic barrier though,” the magician spoke, feeling a chill crawl down his spine. He had thought of getting rid of the barrier just to remove the feeling.
Soon after they arrived at Luna’s home, which was a fairly large castle, the magician looked at a map of the world. Charting out his flight path the magician decided that it would be faster for him to fly around to find areas with magic deficiency. For the rest of the day, he rested to adapt to the new world. Luckily, through the convenience of magic, he did not need to bathe as he had a simple cleaning spell. Unfortunately, he had no real way to escape from Luna’s “hug” without violence. The magician regretted not studying separation magic when he had the chance.
When the next day came, Elizabeth said she had a few things to do, so only the magician and Luna departed to search the world.
Escorting the magician around the area, Luna asked, “What’s with you and barriers?”
The magician answered, “It’s the matter of life and death. Also, let go of my arm please.”
“Tch, the night was young,” muttered Luna, ignoring the request.
After flying around for a while, the pair found several spots that lacked in magic. Placing down a few magic circles, via spells, at the spots the magician created magic singularities to gather magic. Eventually forcing the world’s magic circulation into a hard reset.
Leaving the magic circles, the magician began to fly back to the castle. While returning the magician suddenly stopped and stared at the forest below him. Seeing this Luna tilted her head, but before she could ask a question, a person flew out of the trees followed by an uncountable number of roots. Noticing the sudden occurrence the magician prepared for battle, but only to be startled by a high pitch female scream saying…
“I FOUND YOU!”
Being startled for a moment the magician was barely able to avoid being grabbed. Seeing who the person was the magician began casting banishment magic to send the attacker back to the netherworld. Unfortunately, the demon was using a person, with a fluorescent red face, as a shield. For the magician, he could not care if the demon had a meat shield. The moment the magician was about to activate his spell, Luna decided it was the perfect time to change her position. Taking the opportunity she moved from the magician’s arm to his back with her arms around his neck. Due to the sudden shift in weight, the magician missed his magic and began to follow gravity’s will. Seeing this opportunity the opposition went in for the kill.
Back at the castle, Elizabeth installed surveillance magic in unneeded places, while questioned Chi about a few things, “Why are you calling Master, the Sacred One?”
“Because the Sacred One appeared when we did the ritual,” answered Chi.
Elizabeth tilted her head, “Ritual?”
Not understanding the ritual, Elizabeth requested for further information. Chi then explained that every year her people held a festival to celebrate the coming of the harvest season. Before the festival had started a ritual needed to be conducted. During the ritual, there has never been a time where a person appeared when it was conducted. Hearing such things Elizabeth could only slowly nod. She remembered that whenever beast tribes celebrated all morals and ethics disappeared, resulting in a bloody aftermath and an increased population.
“Now that I think of it,” Chi continued with lowered ears, “I don’t remember what happened at the ritual. I only remember sacrificing a few war captives then the sacred one appeared. After that, I end up working here now. It was supposed to be my first festival, but it seemed that I missed it. ”
“I… I see…” Elizabeth awkwardly answered.
Earlier Elizabeth learned from the head maid that Chi had received wounds from an explosion. It was a miracle that she was still alive, even more so that she received minor wounds. Connecting the dots, she understood that the magician caused that explosion. She felt a large wave of relief wash over her as she was lucky enough that the magician didn’t do the same when she summoned him. She also felt disturbed by Chi’s additional remarks.
From outside the castle walls, a person yelled, “ELIZABETH!”
Hearing the voice Elizabeth ran outside, “Huh? That’s… It can’t be!”
When she ran outside Elizabeth saw her close friend, who arrived on a domesticated, flying jellyfish. Catching her friend, who jumped off her jellyfish, they embraced for a few minutes before her friend checked her entire body for any injuries.
“Elizabeth, are you hurt? Do you have any wounds? Why didn’t you tell me about leaving the castle? When the king told me you became a disciple I was shocked speechless. The person who should be the most respected and praised, in magic, becoming a disciple is shocking,” the person complained, “Really! Don’t run off like that EVER again! You’ll only make everyone one worry!”
“Angela I’m fine, under my master, I’m learning more about magic than anything you can find in the textbooks,” spoke Elizabeth.
“Really? Eliza? If you are being blackmailed you could tell me. I can deal with that so-called master of yours. If you get a single scratch you can always run to me remember, like you did when we were…”
Sitting through Angela’s lecture, Elizabeth muttered, “You really are like my mother…”
“I know. You can’t take care of yourself anyway.”
After their reunion, Elizabeth invited her friend into the castle to wait for her master’s return. When Angela noticed Chi, she had a deep desire to play with her.
The magician, he was in an awkward position. Currently, he’s was forced to nursing a demon and an elf back to full health after blasting them with high-level steam magic. All the while, Luna was going on and on about never using such magic on anyone but her. A side effect of the magic was that light colored clothes would become soaked and transparent. To begin with, steam magic was the most optimal choice as it could easily bypass the mass of roots and hit their target.
Even if the magician did not have the slightest bit of care, he still helped them recover. It was not because he was being nice but because he knew what would go around will come around. Many times in his own world that saying rang true. Countless times he would kill people or leave them as a present for the reapers. Countless times people came for revenge. Currently, he was the most wanted man in the magical side of his world, for a lot of different reasons. He did not desire to be wanted in a second world.
After an hour or so, the magician finally finished his task and regained his ability to witness light. To his surprise, the demon, a succubus from her features, suddenly grabbed one of his arms.
“You think you can get away from me,” spoke the demon, “A succubus?”
“I did always wonder why a succubus wanted to summon a human,” The magician asked.
“Ack,” the succubus took a critical hit!
“Also, tell the cherry face to get up. I know she’s awake.”
Realizing that she was noticed the elf slowly got up. It seemed her red face became more fluorescent and there was even a bit of steam rising from those red parts. The magician wondered if that was a trait of the elves.
Vowing to create anti-contact magic to teleport away, the magician said, “Let’s go back… I already finished the things around here.”
Seeing the chance, the elf asked, “U-um… e-excuse m-me. M-m-mister…”
“Yes? Do you need something?” replied the magician.
“D-d-do y-you h-have a-a-a-a-”
“She’s asking if you have a lover,” said the succubus finishing the elf’s sentence.
“Lilith!” cried the elf.
Covering the magician’s mouth “Yes, me,” answered Luna.
Removing the hands from his mouth the magician retorted the claims and rejected the elf. Unfortunately, the elf already fainted before she heard the rejection; her body was releasing thick amounts of steam too. Getting flashbacks the magician wanted to run away.
Seeing that the succubus was now latching onto his arm, the magician asked, “Could you let go?”
“Sorry I can’t, I have to finish what I started,” stated Lilith seductively licking her lips.
“No,” Luna cried, “I shall be the one who dines. Leave you disgusting demon.”
“Back off you lowly vampire.”
Being caught in the middle of two arguing ladies, the magician experienced PTSD. He remembered the time he was confined and made a prize by multiple world-destroying, female magic users. The magician decided to quickly return to base, using telekinesis magic he brought the elf with them as they flew back. What awaited him was just more trouble.
Upon arriving at the location, Elizabeth and Chi greeted them. Along with another lady, Angela Caroline, who held a dark expression.
“You’re Elizabeth’s master?” Asked Angela
Attempting to pry himself from the succubus. “Technically yes,” answered the magician. “Who might you be?”
Introducing herself again, Angela greeted the group then the succubus, Lilith Lininnys, and the elf, Esta Leodi, followed suit. Becoming skeptical after seeing the scene in front of her, Angela decided she had to join the group to protect Elizabeth from whatever disaster that could befall her. But in truth, a deep desire to hear the magician scream in pain had begun to grow in her.
After resting for a while, the magician would later enchant himself with various movement acceleration magic. It would allow him to quickly fly around the world and disable unneeded magic contraptions.
“Luna, Lilith, please let me go,” the magician pleaded.
“No.” “After we have a bit of fun.” Replied Luna and Lilith
Watching the scene, Angela spoke, “I never knew that vampires and succubas were clingy.”
“Angela you’re the same,” responded Elizabeth who was nearby.
Hearing the truth, Angela embraced Elizabeth and dared not to let go.
Elizabeth sighed, “See no difference.”
After flying around the world at who knows what speed. The magician quickly finished his job, the only thing he needed to do was to shatter the singularities, but he had to do it later…
“Oh my, how do you do? I didn’t expect to meet again so soon. It seems like a lot of things had happened since we last met. Especially having those two clinging to you.”
Sitting across from him was the woman in white eastern clothing, who was a dragon. Not only that nearby was the ex-slave lady that the magician saved. Drinking tea, the magician complained for a few hours again to the dragon across from him. All the while noticing the ex-slave was fidgeting every so often.
“It’s pretty surprising that the people, who summoned or were near you, when you were summoned, are being gathered.”
“I know right, it’s pretty odd. It’s like the world wants to mess with me or something. Anyways after I finished up here I have to go back into my world to check if it’s destroyed yet. Oi, Luna, I’m letting you ride on my back because you’re letting me stay at your place. LILITH! STOP! Both of you, please, refrain from choking me.”
Attempting to bite the magician’s neck, replied Luna “You won’t die, you have barriers protecting you right? Take them off and you still won’t die.”
Lilith just sat there attempting to seduce the magician who had new max tolerance and resistance to such thing.
Zanna and Frea watched the scene in front of them. It was amusing to them seeing a vampire and a succubus that was so close to their target but was still unable to reach their goal. When refilled the teacups Frea secretly passed a slip of paper to the magician. On the paper was a request to not provide or mention knowledge not known to the world of Tedium.
“You know, vampires, when they drink blood they also produce a liquid-like substance that causes both the victim and the perpetrator to ‘feel good’,” Zanna pointed out. “So basically she’s horny.”
Hearing the comment Luna smiled. “There is no shame in having a little snack.”
“And the succubus is self-explanatory.”
“My reputation explains itself.” Lilith giggled.
Another shiver ran down the magician’s spine as those very words reminded him of some horrible experiences. How the situation became to be was another long story. But the short version was a mid-air collision, with an explosive landing, leading to accidental touching of the inappropriate nature, by the females of the group. After a bit of arguing, they decided to cool off by drinking some tea.
Turning her head, Zanna spoke, “Frea, do you have anything to say?”
“No I don’t, I’m grateful that I was set free from slavery and was able to start over. I am eternally grateful. I owe my life to him, so I don’t have anything I can request.” Frea answered.
“I see, why… why don’t we watch him change the world? Staying in this cave is bad for the mind.”
Seeing that Zanna walked ahead to the cave’s exit, Frea’s straight posture disappeared. Stretching her arms she went up to the magician and thanked him.
“Thank you, you have my favor,” said Frea rubbing her temples “She’s like a child you know. Ha-ha… Oh god, do you know how weird it was to teach her about sex? Dragons don’t even have reproduction organs, luckily I didn’t have to do a demonstrate… I was originally supposed to be a gift to you, fortunately, I provided enough knowledge to by my freedom… I’ll stop... Such an annoying dragon.”
Not expecting the elegant dragon to be so innocent the magician and the aroused leaches could only slowly nod. With a cough, they all got up and left the cave.
After expanding the group a bit more they went back to Luna’s for the day. Anyone would expect there would be chaos, due to the clashing of different races and viewpoints, but fortunately, it was quite quiet. Elizabeth and Angela were doing somethings behind closed doors, while Chi was doing maid work with the other servants around the castle. Zanna was reading a few books alongside Esta, but Esta was distracted by the magician’s mysterious looks. Frea was outback practicing a sword routine. Luna and Lilith were playing king of the hill. The hill? There was no need to guess who the hill was, the only thing that was needed to be known was that he’s suffering.

.
As a new dawn approached, it was time for the magician to change the world. When one was to stop or destroy a magic singularity the magic that was gathered would… (Insert very a long and complicated information about the cause and effects of magical singularities) …it will take some time for the magic circulation to calm down. There was also the risk of dangerous monsters appearing produced by random high-density magic areas.
To combat that risk the magician created a multitude of white sentry golems. These golems were modeled after various creatures. The golems that were to protect the land were shaped as wolves, colored of snow, with crystal horns. For the air, were human shaped golems with luxurious white wings. Snake golems were used to protect the oceans and seas. For the underground were mole shaped golems. The last golems were small pure white hummingbirds, though they are small their group held the largest number of golems, their role was to fill in the spots that the other golems could not reach.
Centuries later those golems would become sentient and proclaim themselves as the world’s guardians. Leading to massive conflicts on the scale of dimensions. It becomes worse as they learned to recreate themselves and had developed imperialistic tendencies. However, that was a story for another time.
Using up most of his magic that was available the magician slept for the rest of the day. Luna and Lilith accompanied him, attempting to exploit his weakened state. The rest of the girls were awestruck due to the level of magic that was used. To the magician, what he had done was a simple and tiring task, but to the girls, it seemed that he held the powers of the gods.
The golems, the magician created, were extremely realistic, it can be said that he created life from plain dirt. In the world of Tedium, the normal golems would be clumps of earth in a humanoid shape. On the other hand, the magician’s golems were greatly detailed as you could see the individual feathers, furs, and scales on each golem. If someone would touch them they would feel identical to the ones produced by Mother Nature. Not only that, the number of golems that the magician made, used enough magic to kill an entire populace of mages in Tedium.
For the singularity magic, the amount of magic needed to create them was single one was enormous. Not only did the magician sustain them for a few days, he also channeled additional magic to maintain the magic singularities. With so much magic being used it could kill any human. Yet the magician did all that without breaking a sweat.
Back in the magician’s homeworld, he was considered a prodigy in magic. Not only did he have a near endless magic capacity he also had quick magic recovery, Allowing him to be the most active magic user in his homeworld. His achievements and discoveries were always groundbreaking, setting him above the rest of the magic users. Many people despised him due to misunderstandings. On the other hand, his natural charm caused him many nightmares and scars.
Going back to the girls, they were discussing their next course of action. When the magician eventually leave it would fall into the hands of the residence of Tedium to look after the world. It was a shame that the magician was leaving for his world later that day. If he stayed who would know how the world would prosper. Carlotta Helen, the Holy Lady, arrived as the girls were discussing plans. She suggested an attempt to keep the magician in Tedium by any means necessary. Hearing the plan Elizabeth, Angela and Esta agreed to the proposal. Luna and Lilith would have also agreed to the Holy Lady’s suggestion but they were elsewhere. On the other hand, Frea, Zanna, and Chi decided to not mess with the magician.
Later that day when the magician began to leave for his home world, he was pestered not to by most of the girls. Persuasion, bribery, blackmail, seduction, whatever they attempted they kept missing by miles. Frea, Zanna and Chi laughed at the spectacles that had unfolded in front of them. As the magician was about to leave, Elizabeth attempted one last ditch effort and attempted to interfere with the magic but…
Pop.
Everyone and everything in the castle, including the castle itself was teleported to the magician’s world.
In a fit of annoyance, the magician made the girls repent. Due to their utter mistake, the magician now became a ticking time bomb. If a single word got out about the other world or that he was accompanied by ten natural beauties, he could bid his existence farewell. Due to the risks, the magician decided to take care of the girls after careful consideration. Being unable to return the girls to Tedium.
The first thing he did was quickly changing the castle into a flying fortress and have it float right below the exosphere. Second, he created magic accessories to hide the girl’s physical features. Because demons were used as slaves and creatures from fantasy did not exist in his world. Third, he lectured them about the world’s common sense and morals. Forth, he made sure to hide the presence of him and everyone around him. Fifth, he immediately researched anti-contact magic… and a way to send the girls home.
Suddenly remembering about Magi-us, the magician opened the forums to see what he had missed over the few days he had gone. The moment his eyes read the top post on the forum all sense of morality disappeared from his mind as a sinister grin appeared on his face. That grin of his and atmosphere could cause the worst of the demons to cower in fear and began praying to the gods. He had come up with a brilliant idea that might just work.
The discussion in Magi-us was ridiculing the magician on how he failed to appear. In truth all the users were paranoid, and they were using the thread as a way to rant. Unfortunately, the truth did not cross the magician’s mind, as he became annoyed that the forum users were so prideful and cocky.
Remembering his deal with one of the gods in his world he posted two things.
“Guys, I need advice.” and “I need advice dealing with a harem, is that the right word? Some things had happened, it’s a long story.”
After which he went to a nearby balcony and watched the world under him burn. It didn’t bother him that much seeing the destruction of the world, as he made a deal to turn back time. He just hopes that his location would not be discovered by anyone.
“This feels so refreshing,” the magician spoke, “I feel like I’m forgetting something…”
Meanwhile in a white space.
“He really did forget about me… The restraining power of these chains are suppressing my own power too much… At least he took care of the problem… Even if I am a god, I cannot watch over my world while restrained… But he took a few important people with him too... It might be a problem, unfortunately, I cannot do a thing about it while restrained... I wonder how far the world can prosper without my intervention… But I really cannot do anything because of the chains… Sleeping might be a good idea… No, I am a goddess that needs to watch my world... But I cannot… But I must… But I… But… zzz”
