On a seemingly peaceable evening, Jetstream sits outside her office with Dan McKay, having just released a man who started a fight at the NiteTime saloon.

Jetstream then decides to go to the NiteTime saloon to speak with Jeann Merrill. As the sun sets, Jetstream has a drink with Jeann, when a group of men appeared on horses. The leader called for the Marshall.

Jetstream finishes her drink and meets them outside the saloon.

"We're looking for the Marshall. You can't be who we're looking for."

"It's me. Is there something I can do for you?"

"I'll cut straight to the point. We plan to take over this town. We're gonna take as many people as possible to do so."

The men try to draw their guns, but Jetstream outdraws them and keeps them covered.

"If you think we're gonna stand by and let you do that, you are out of your mind. We enjoy the peace we have in this town."

Dan McKay comes out with a rifle pointed at the leader's back.

"Hold it right there. I'll give you five seconds to ride out of here!"

"Out of nowhere, Dan is shot in the back."

"DAN!!!!!!"

Jeann rushes outside to see what's going on."

"JEANN!!!!! Get back inside, now!!!"

"The men then scatter, leading them and Jetstream into a showdown."

As Jetstream pokes out to shoot them, she gets one of them, but one of them shoots her down. Dan tries to get back up to fire, but falls unconscious.

"You tried to be tough, Marshall. Now, why'd you have to do that? You wouldn't be laying here, now."

The men then begin their control over Millennium City. Jeann runs back out to Dan and Jetstream, seemingly dead.

"Somebody!!!! Get the doctor!!!! NOW!!!!

"Why? Why do you guys do this?"

"We tried to warn you. Now you're all going to do what we say, and we'll leave by sundown tomorrow."

"Fine. What do you want?"

"First, we're gonna get a couple of drinks. On the house.

"Fine........Come inside."

With Jetstream and Dan being tended to, the group of men take control of the NiteTime saloon.

Jeann questions the leader:

"Who are you? Why did you come HERE? We didn't do anything to you.

"It's simple. I'm Jack Bounty and we are called the Slade Boys. We came to this town because it was sizeable enough for us to take apart."

"You've done enough. Can't you just bypass us?"

"I don't think so, saloon girl. Like I said, we're gonna massacre this town. I'll let you in on something. Millennium City is just ONE of the towns we're gonna bleed dry. We already taken care of your Marshall and Deputy and the townspeople are scared witless. So, that just leaves............you I guess, huh...Jeann?

"I gotta go see them. Let me go."

"By all means, but it won't change anything."

Jeann goes to look in on Jetstream and Dan.

"Doctor, how are they?"

"Well, as for Dan, I just removed the bullet. It was in there really deep. I think he'll make it. As for Jetstream, I think the bullet went through her heart."

"Oh no. (Jeann begins crying)"

"Jeann, I think you should close the NiteTime saloon for the night. Get some rest. I'll keep working on them and let you know in the morning."

"Alright. Thanks, Doctor."

Jeann goes to close up and tells the Slade Boys to leave. The men then leave and hang out in town until sun up.

As sun up approaches, the Doctor sneaks inside the NiteTime saloon.

"Jeann!

"What is it, Doctor?"

"Well, as I was working on Jetstream, I noticed that the bullet was just inches away from her heart."

"What are you saying, Doctor, you saying she'll make it?"

"It's too soon to tell, but it's also a possibility."

"Alright, Doctor. Get back safe so they don't see you."

Moments later, the Slade Boys entered the NiteTime saloon.

"Alright, boys, what is it. You want a drink?"

"Yeah.....maybe we do. Hook us up, will you....Jeann."

"Comin' right up."

Meanwhile, Dan awakens, with the Doctor filling him in on a plan.

"So, you've finally come to. Listen, Dan. I made up a plan in case Jetstream didn't survive the bullet wound.

"But Doctor, is she going to survive?"

"I say she is. Before I informed Jeann on her condition, I made a minor misconception. Besides the bullet was inches away from her heart, so it's kind of a steady possibility. But listen carefully. Sometime later, if they already haven't, the Slade gang is going to be in the saloon. I assume they believe you two are dead. I don't know for certain, but I don't think they suspect anything. The plan is that, with the Slade gang unaware, we come through the front door while they're in front of the bar. That's assuming that's where they are. Then before they get a chance to notice, we empty these barrels into all of them. Since it was three of them, it's a huge risk. But after all, our town is in jeopardy.

"I understand, Doctor. Let's load up."

In the saloon, the Slade gang are celebrating their accomplishment over Millennium City.

"Hey, you!!"

The Doctor and Dan began shooting, taking out two of the gang members.

"Jeann!!!! Get down behind the bar!!!!"

Jeann prays as another showdown occurs, this time in her saloon.

With Dan and the Doctor having taken out two of the gang members, shots come from the door behind the bar and manages to kill the remaining gang leader.

"From the door came Jetstream!!!!

"JETSTREAM!!!!! You're okay!!!!

"So you pulled through, Marshall?"

"Yes, Doctor. All thanks to the Lord's good blessing and then your Doctoring skills. Thank you, my friends, for being there for me."

"Don't mention it, Jetstream. You're our friend."

"Well, Marshall, you still need a lot of rest. So, I'll need you back in my office, okay?"

"Yes, Doctor."

"Great to have you back, Jetstream."

"Good to be back with all of you."

"Alright, Marshall. This way. I'll help you to my office."

"Thank you."
