(Introduction)
"Today, I received a telegram from a friend of mine. It said that he bought a ranch. However, it also said he wished to see me for something. I wanna find out what it is."
With Deputy Dan McKay in town filling in for her, Jetstream rides out of town to look for a ranch, belonging to a friend of hers.
"I wonder what's goin' on over there. I'll find out once I get there. Let's go."
Eager to learn what it's about, Jetstream takes a long ride out of town.
A little while later, she finally rides up on what seems to be the location.
"This should be it. Let's stop and see."
As she gets off her horse, a young boy meets her.
"Are you the Marshall of Millennium City?"
"Yes, my name is Jetstream."
"Why do they call you Jetstream?"
"Well, it's a name I adopted. My real name is Barbara".

Jetstream's friend appears, excited to see her.
"Now, boy, don't keep the Marshall tied up. Never mind him. He's my son, Johnny. Now, what brings you here, Marshall?"
"Eric!!!"
"I got a telegram explaining that a certain friend of mine had purchased a ranch. Is it yours now, Eric?"
"Yup, sure is. I saved and saved and saved for this very day to come."
"I'm glad to hear it. When I got the telegram, I was wondering who it was from. It also said that you wanted to see me for something. What was it?"
"Right this way. THIS is the surprise I wanted you to see."
Eric then led Jetstream to a gorgeous white stallion.
"Wow, she's breathtaking!"
"We found this stallion wandering around in the barn not too long ago. We want you to have her".
"Really? I can't believe it. Thank you so much."
Mounting the stallion, Jetstream immediately predicts a vast partnership with her.
"Come on, Marshall, you stayin' a while?"
"No, I have to be getting back to Millennium City. I'll pay you for the stallion."
"Well, it's up to you, Marshall. You know, it's funny, I used to call you a young lady. Now I'm calling you Marshall. You sure did grow since those days."
"Well, I was very green when I started this job, so I'd like to think I got a good reception by now."
"Well, Marshall, I wouldn't worry about that. You've got a good heart, and you walk a straight line."
"Thank you so much, Eric. You don't know how much that means to me."
After paying for the stallion, Jetstream thanks Eric one last time, before returning to Millennium City.
"Goodbye, Eric. Goodbye, Johnny."
While riding back to Millennium City, Jetstream begins to bond with her new horse.
"I know I've only just met you, but I'm gonna call you Nicholas. You, me, and Dan are gonna be the greatest team of all time. Come on, I gotta show Dan".
Her Deputy McKay waits for her as she rides back in town.
"Whoa, Jetstream, you have a stallion?"
"This is Nicholas, my new horse. She was given to me by an old friend of mine."
"Nice, she's an attractive stallion, Jetstream."
"Thank you. I love her, too. Well, Dan, did I miss anything?"
"Nothing much, released two guys who fought at the NiteTime saloon."
"I see. Well, I'm gonna get a drink at the saloon. You wanna come with?"
"Yeah, sure. Let's go."
At the NiteTime saloon, Jetstream and Dan also go to meet their friend and saloon owner, Jeann Merrill.
"Well, hi, Jetstream, Dan. You just getting back in town, Jetstream?"
"Yeah. I have a new stallion. She's very pretty."
"Oh yeah? Is that why you came?"
"Well, we came for a drink, obviously."
"Comin' right up."
("That is a story in the life of a female Marshall. Until next time, everyone!")
