"Stop, don't attack the formation, we'll come out ourselves!"
Seeing the intensity of the crowd, the disciples of Beast Taming Peak immediately shrank back. Breaking the formation would cost them contribution points to repair.
"We'll come out, but we want a proper explanation. Why are you attacking us?"
"If you don't give us a reasonable explanation, we will take it up with the Enforcement Team."
Upon hearing this, the crowd scoffed.
"Just admit it, you bunch of idiots! You know exactly what you've done!"
"They want an explanation? Let's drag them to the market and explain it to them properly."
The crowd marched the Beast Taming Peak disciples, forming a large procession as they headed back to the market. Along the way, they encountered many outer sect disciples. Once they learned that the captives were from Beast Taming Peak, the news spread like wildfire, with more and more disciples joining the scene.
By the time they arrived at the market, the area was surrounded.
The disciples of Beast Taming Peak, nearly in tears, couldn't understand what had triggered such intense wrath.
They each scrutinized their recent actions, trying to pinpoint any wrongdoing. They couldn't think of anything outrageous.
"So, what is going on here?" they wondered, exchanging confused looks.
All eyes turned to Kong Tianjiao.
The shouts were clear: "They've been yelling Kong Tianjiao's name from the start! It's him who's caused all this mess!"
At that moment, Kong Tianjiao was utterly overwhelmed.
Bound and held up like an animal in a zoo, he was humiliated, his face covered with talismans.
The crowd jeered at the sight.
"Look what you’ve done to the market, ruining our business!"
Someone added, "And the Central Plaza, too. It's ruined, nobody can walk through it anymore."
The Beast Taming Peak disciples stood in shock, realizing they were being blamed for something they didn’t understand.
"Did we do this?"
"I didn't even know about it!"
"No way. This isn't our doing. Someone's framing us!"
A voice from the crowd shouted, "You idiots! Can’t you see the evidence? Half of that mess is from an Iron-Eater Beast, the other half from a Sky Rat! It’s all been staged."
If you encounter this tale on Amazon, note that it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
Xiao Zhi shouted, "You’re denying it with evidence right in front of you?!"
Li Zhengtong retorted, "If it wasn’t your spirit beasts, then what? Did the poop just appear out of nowhere?"
Qin Yu added, "You messed up our market, and you’re still insulting us? Brothers, beat him up!"
The crowd, furious, was ready to take action.
"Hold on, hold on, don’t do anything yet!"
The Beast Taming Peak disciples backed up, one of them stumbling and falling into a pile of excrement.
"Wait, wait, let's stay calm. We admit that the excrement is from our spirit beasts, but our beasts never did this here."
Li Zhengtong scoffed, "So your spirit beasts didn’t do this here? What, did they just decide to run across the market and Central Plaza?"
Qin Yu urged, "Admit it’s your beasts, then. Brothers, let’s hit him!"
"Hold on, don’t hit him yet, there’s definitely some misunderstanding here!"
"Misunderstanding? Kong Tianjiao hasn’t said a word yet. Looks like he’s already admitted it!"
Kong Tianjiao mumbled under his breath, still bound by the talisman, unable to speak.
The Beast Taming Peak disciples hastily untied his ropes, but before they could react, the crowd surged forward, fueled by Qin Yu’s encouragement.
The crowd rushed to catch up, and those behind shouted, "Hurry up, the line’s long, we all want a turn!"
Someone shouted, "Who wants to buy a scalper ticket? For just five contribution points, you can take a turn beating Beast Taming Peak disciples."
"I’ll pay! I want to hit Kong Tianjiao!"
The scalper shouted, "Kong Tianjiao costs extra! Ten contribution points."
The store owners watched the chaos unfold, preparing for their own participation.
"When I count to three, you all charge in and hit them. Target the legs, make sure they won’t be able to get out of bed for months. Be back before the Enforcement Team shows up."
"Got it, Boss!"
"Store employees, get your iron rods ready, we’re going in!"
The Beast Taming Peak disciples who were slower were soon overwhelmed and beaten.
Kong Tianjiao, after being freed, ran as fast as he could.
"Where’s the Enforcement Team? Why aren’t they here yet?"
Kong Tianjiao still held onto a glimmer of hope, but given the scale of the commotion, the Enforcement Team should have arrived by now.
The crowd realized this too, so they gave the Beast Taming Peak disciples a chance to escape.
Just like a noble hunt, the more the prey struggles, the more satisfying the chase.
As one of the top disciples of Beast Taming Peak, Kong Tianjiao might not be the best person, but his strength was undeniable.
With all his strength, he launched himself into a sprint, weaving between piles of excrement as the disciples behind him tried to dodge obstacles. The gap between them widened.
"Haha, you think you can catch me?" Kong Tianjiao laughed triumphantly.
But just then, employees from the shops suddenly surged forward, blocking his path.
Kong Tianjiao skidded to a stop, looking around in panic.
"What now?"
He saw the store employees ready to strike and the disciples behind him closing in. His heart sank.
"Kong Tianjiao, you’ve done enough bad things. There’s no escape now!"
With a scowl, Kong Tianjiao glared at the people ahead and behind, shouting, "Nobody touches me!"
Suddenly, in a desperate move, he closed his eyes, gritted his teeth, and dove headfirst into a pile of excrement, rolling around in it.
The crowd froze in shock, unable to believe what they were witnessing.
Qin Yu, watching from the sidelines, felt his heart race. This was insane!
Even the disciples who had been beating the others stopped, staring at Kong Tianjiao in disbelief.
The market seemed to go silent for a moment, with Kong Tianjiao emerging from the mess, covered head to toe in yellow excrement, and roaring at the crowd.
"Come at me! Who dares to touch me?!"
Every step he took forward, the crowd retreated in fear.
Kong Tianjiao, once a sheep to be slaughtered, now appeared like a fierce tiger covered in filth.
‘This guy’s a true warrior,’ thought Qin Yu, impressed.
He then reminded the others, "Don’t be afraid! Use long-range attacks!"
