In a land surrounded by the rich nature, there is a community of people that has tens of elevated huts that are built just at the edge of a large forest that surrounds and adjacent to a very tall mountain range, and in another direction, just a hundred meters away from the small village is a small river channel that is five meters or so wide from bank to bank.
And one corner of this body of water is currently occupied by a group of women who are either washing their clothes or just taking a bath in their birthday suit, along with a group of cheerful young children who are playing in the water.
From the skies, the land is almost covered in green thanks to the rich nutrients of the land, and there’s this small village that is surrounded by mother nature from all directions, and unlike mountains today that are already bald from deforestation, the mountains in this land are full of trees of varying heights.
Anyone with a brain would quickly realize that this place certainly isn’t normal.
After all, even remote tribes today would at least have a single power line connecting them to modern society, unless…
A peacefully sleeping Rakin abruptly opened his eyes and suddenly sat up, and collided head on with the person who was with him and taking care of him.
“Argh! That hurts!”
“Ouch!”
Rakin held his forehead in pain, while his caretaker, a young lady, was also doing the same thing while glaring at him.
The young lady was about to flare up in anger, but she remembered what Rakin had went through and she became a little understanding and quickly calmed herself down, “Rakin, you’re finally awake”
Rakin glanced at her, then thought to himself, ‘Shit, so it wasn’t a dream after all?’
‘And Rakin? The f*ck is even that name? Who the hell names their son like that? Uggh! My head hurts!’
‘Just where the hell am I?!’
Then unknown memories slowly started filling his mind and started flashing before his eyes, making him wide eyed in shock as he couldn’t believe these memories he’s seeing inside his head!
“Rakin?” the young lady called out seeing him being out of himself.
Rakin, of course, just ignored her and continued sorting out his own thoughts.
He slightly shook his head as he stood up from where he was sleeping earlier, and when he saw the clothing on his lower body, he frowned.
‘It looks like I’m wearing a dress or something’

And under the confused gaze of the young lady watching him, Rakin slowly walked towards the window and looked at the scenery outside.
‘I’m f*cked, did I get stranded back in time? Just what happened during my sleep? And if whoever you are that had planned to send me here for god sake, shouldn’t I be using my own body? Why is it someone else!?’
‘And I’m in the time where Maharlika Kingdom was prosperous? This sh*t that I was just reading last night actually existed!? F*ck those historians, if I knew something like this were gonna happen, then I would read everything related to them! Crappy as*holes! They should have done their job right instead of burying a prosperous history!’
‘Unreliable bastards!’
‘And whoever you are, f*ck you! If you were gonna do this in the first place, then you should have done it right and sent me into a peaceful era! Not a place where rules of the jungle are practiced!’
‘This dumbass even died from slipping on the rocks! How f*cking unreliable!’
“Rakin!”
‘Ahh! This is so frustrating! Why does this have to happen to me!? Couldn’t you have picked someone else!?’ Rakin was screaming inside while ignoring the person calling out to him from behind.
The young lady finally got enough of being ignored and quickly walked over beside him and kicked his thigh hard!
“Rakin! If you’re okay, then speak up! Stop staring into the distance like an idiot!”
“Oww~!” Rakin held his thigh as he yelped in pain while glaring at the woman whose kick was almost as powerful as a baseball bat hitting something.
Then memories of this woman from his new memories emerged, she was the childhood friend of the original owner of his body, called Minera.
“What do...whaat?”
Rakin wanted to say “what do you want”, but he once again attacked by another bout of dizziness, and fell on the wooden floor, and as his eyesight blurred, he could still hear the distinct voice from Minera shouting with worry before he once again succumbed to darkness, as the last thing he heard was the chaotic footsteps of people approaching them.
‘F*ck! Another one!’
“Rakin! What’s happening with you!?” Minera couldn’t help but shout as she frantically ran towards his side.
Her shout quickly attracted the attention of the people outside the hut. After all, her voice this time sounded frantic unlike earlier, and a woman and man who was just making their way over had quickly heard her screams and immediately ran towards them and hastily entered the hut and saw Minera holding onto an unconscious Rakin.
“Minera, what happened?” the middle aged woman asked.
Minera turned towards her and replied, “I don’t know, he had just woken up when he fell unconscious again”
The middle aged woman quickly came to their side and checked Rakin’s pulse, while the other middle aged person, a warrior who came in with the woman, was looking around the room, and then he looked at Minera and said, “Was he doing something after he woke up?”
After a little hesitation, Minera spoke up saying, “Well, he went over to the window, seemingly deep into his thoughts, but then he suddenly started acting weird. So I kicked him when he wasn’t responding to me when I was calling out to him, and soon after that, he was still okay for a few seconds before he fell unconscious again, and that’s when you two came in”
When they heard what she said, the corner of the eyes of the middle aged man twitched and thought to himself, ‘Really now, why would you kick my nephew like that knowing that he had just woken up from surviving an ordeal from a Tigris? You really aren’t gentle, aren’t you? This is why Rakin doesn’t treat you as a woman, you’re too rough. You still have a long way to go, little Minera’
Then the middle aged woman looked at Minera and said, “Leave us for the time being, Minera”
Minera didn’t say anything against it and slowly stood up and said, “Yes, mother”
After confirming that Minera had left, the woman looked at the middle aged man and said, “Aram, what did the Rajah, your brother, tell you about Rakin’s condition? You should know that what happened to him is very uncanny. No one had survived a Tigris attack before and survived to tell the tale, unless it suddenly became compassionate, but we know that something like that wouldn’t happen”
Aram, supposedly Rakin’s uncle, said, “But isn’t that a good thing? The others finally wouldn’t look down on him after this. In fact, they would probably even respect him for saving the kids and surviving the attack”
The woman could only agree with him but, “Respect, he will get, but the burden he would carry with it will also be enormous. You should already know that it’s already been twenty two years since he was born, but the people call him a spineless coward because he had never once held a Kampilan and fought before, and hopefully, everything will change after this. You should already know that some of our tribe members have started calling him a warrior, especially the kids he had saved, and with the current situation of our tribe, will he be able to handle it? I’m worried for his future, if only his mother was-”
“Enough Amihan, let’s not talk about her,'' Aram quickly cut her off when Amihan was about to mention Rakin’s mother.
Amihan just sighed and thought to herself, ‘If only she was here’
