Chapter 31

Standing where BloomBounce used to be was a much bigger, fluffier version. Its white fur sparkled, and its green ears stood tall. A leafy collar circled its neck like it had just come back from a fancy spa.

Lyra’s eyes widened. “Whoa! You leveled up!”

Mira just stared. “It’s... amazing. And definitely stronger.”

As if to prove her point, the new BloomBounce let out a hum. The plants around it leaned toward the sound, like they were meeting some plant superstar.

Lyra blinked. “Did we just make a plant celebrity?”

A voice came from Lyra’s pocket. “Well, isn’t this just the coolest thing ever!”

LoreKeeper floated out, spinning like it owned the place. “Just when I thought things couldn’t get any crazier! Our fluffy friend’s gone full bloom!”

Lyra grinned. “LoreKeeper, perfect timing. Tell us what’s going on with our bouncy buddy here!”

LoreKeeper’s compass glowed pink as it scanned the new creature. “Well, well, look at you! Say hello to BloomBounce2. Bigger. Fluffier. And ready to change the gardening game!”

Lyra clapped her hands. “BloomBounce2? I like it! Sounds strong enough to grow flowers and punch through a wall. Ready to take on the world, buddy?”

BloomBounce2 let out an eager bounce, its ears wiggling.

LoreKeeper projected a holographic skill tree into the air. It sparkled like the coolest constellation ever. “Oh, you’re gonna love this. Our leafy friend here already had some tricks. Growth Aura, Leaf Burst, you know, regular plant magic stuff. But now? Oh, we’ve got serious upgrade potential.”

The villagers’ jaws dropped. The green light from the skill tree glowed on their faces. The air pulsed with magic.

Lyra wasn’t fazed. She tapped her chin and smiled like she was plotting something big. “So, I can make this fluff ball even better?”

LoreKeeper twirled. “You’ve got two shiny skill points ready to turn your buddy into the ultimate gardening master. Let’s break it down.”

The hologram zoomed in, showing three glowing choices with all the flair of a game show host.

Stolen novel; please report.

“Growth Aura 2: The magic bubble just doubled in size. Everything inside grows 50% faster. Like a gym membership for your garden.”

“Leaf Burst 2: Breaks rocks, loosens soil, but now with extra care. No seeds or plants get hurt. Precision dirt demolition.”

“Lucky Harvest: Plants touched by this skill have a 25% chance to give twice the crops at harvest! Who needs regular farming when you have a magic lottery?”

Lyra’s eyes lit up. “This is like one of those boardgames Darius always plays. But with real food and real magic.”

LoreKeeper chuckled, glowing pink. “Exactly, darling. The fate of the farm is in your hands. Do you play it safe or make it exciting?”

Lyra paced. “Only two skill points? This is so hard! Somebody fan me with a giant leaf!”

“Tick-tock, darling,” LoreKeeper teased. “Time is veggies, and veggies are money!”

Lyra snapped her fingers. “Alright, alright. Growth Aura 2. Faster crops, right? Reliable. Sensible.” She paused. “But... kinda boring.”

“Exactly!” LoreKeeper spun faster. “Where’s the excitement? The drama?”

Lyra’s grin turned mischievous. “That’s why Lucky Harvest is calling my name. One-in-four chance? Let’s roll the dice!”

Mira raised an eyebrow. “Are you sure about this, Lyra? We need steady crops, not random chances.”

“Pfft, steady is boring! Think bigger.” Lyra waved her off. “We’ll rule the village with iron fists. Made of carrots! Carrot fists!”

“Carrot dictators, more like,” LoreKeeper teased.

Lyra ignored the comment, already caught up in her vision of a veggie empire. “But Leaf Burst 2 could help us expand faster. Lyra’s Bountiful Farms! Coming soon to a village near you!”

LoreKeeper hummed. “Just don’t forget who helped you get there.”

Lyra laughed. “Relax! You’ll get your cut of the profits. How about Chief Officer of Magical Research? We’ll build you an office made from carrots!”

LoreKeeper paused, tilting slightly as if she was giving it actual thought. “Hmm... tempting. Okay, I’m in.”

Lyra turned back to the skill tree. “Alright, here’s the plan. Growth Aura 2 for those fast-growing crops. And Lucky Harvest, because life’s more fun with a little risk.”

The skill tree flared with gold and green lights as the skills activated. Magic surged into BloomBounce2, crackling with energy.

“Bloooom bounce bounce!”

Lyra knelt down and patted its head. We’re gonna make this place legendary! Watch out, world. Lyra’s Bountiful Farms. Where the carrots are huge and the boldness is even bigger!”

BloomBounce2 nuzzled her, glowing proudly.

LoreKeeper floated closer. “Growth Aura 2 and Lucky Harvest. A bit practical, a bit wild. Classic Lyra.”

Lyra stood up straight, her eyes shining. “With BloomBounce2’s new skills, we’re gonna be carrot royalty!”

The villagers, caught up in her excitement, cheered. A revolution was coming, and it was going to be veggie-powered.

Mira smiled, feeling proud. “Alright team, let’s get to work!”

Fueled by new hope, they jumped into the harvest. The fields were full of laughter, baskets filling up quickly.

Lyra held up a big carrot. “We could carve this into a statue of LoreKeeper! What do you think?”

Mira shook her head, laughing. “Let’s just eat them first. Carrot sculptures later.”

As the baskets filled with fresh vegetables, the villagers laughed and joked. The air was full of magic and happiness.

BloomBounce2 glowed as it prepared the soil for the next round of planting.

Lyra pointed at the fluffy creature. “Give it up for our hero, folks! We couldn’t have done it without you, BloomBounce2!”

The creature basked in the cheers, ears wiggling happily.

LoreKeeper hovered nearby, her compass spinning with a satisfied glow. “Keep it up, everyone. Who knows what other surprises we’ll find?”

Lyra winked. “Oh, we’re just getting started.”
