Synopsis: This is a comfy crafting and unique magic story – it’s here to sell the biggest fantasy of all. Owning property (hippity hoppity). What you can expect to find. Automation – who wants to water plants by hand? And touching manure? Gross. Magic – specifically ‘unique’ magic and nonstandard skills/abilities. Unique as in lovingly handcrafting magic wings vs the ‘unique’ of OP gravity or time magic. One or two more standard skills are planned (as glue for the others) but I’m hoping her true abilities feel fresh in the genre. Base building/designing a home and growing land. Slight mental instability/mental health (the MC will grow slightly more unhinged and silly as the series progresses). A form of slow but steady and hopefully rewarding progression steps. A lot of focus on system aspects/internal monologues and cute little numbers. First person heavily informal descriptions. Friendship. What you cannot expect to find. Any high stakes beyond the rush of completing an order on time or the panic of animals getting out and eating all your crops. Much action or dialogue/impersonal relationships. Geese or ducks – this is a firmly safe space from the terrifying cobra chickens. Notes:I'm writing this in part as a pallet cleanser and to try and win the writathon. That means I'm writing it as fast as possible focusing on quantity over quality. The story itself is also just a "for fun" series that won't take itself too seriously.
