“Wow! You kiddos now look like proper students of Edelweiss.” Senia gushed as she saw the new students in their uniforms.
It was the standard uniform of Edelweiss. A black robe. A white dress shirt paired with a black tie. Followed by a pair of black slacks for boys and a skirt for girls. And on their feet were a pair of calf-high white socks and dress shoes.
Art was a bit annoyed. With his hat being taken away, his hair was a mess. Art started brushing it off his face so he could see better.
While he was messing with his hair, Art heard a voice speak up from the yellow table.
“Hey, do you see that?” A green-haired boy nudged the kid next to him, pointing towards the corner of the black table.
The other boy looked in the direction the green-haired boy was pointing. Finally seeing what the boy was pointing to he paused. His brain malfunctioned for a moment. He rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn’t just seeing things. And then. His brain restarted.
The boy, pointing towards Art yelled, “SOPHOS!”

Back at the Sophos Estate.
Ayden and Jeanne Sophos were sitting in the common room.
“Why did I let him leave?”
Since Art had left, his mother, Jeanne, had been brooding.
And it had been Ayden’s job for the past half day to comfort his wife.
“He’s only been outside the forest three times in his life. It’s too early for him to go so far away from home.” Although Art had already left, Jeanne was still coming up with reasons he shouldn’t have gone to Edelweiss.
“I’m sure he’ll be fine honey, he’s your son.” Ayden tried his best to reassure her.
Albert walked forward, serving both of them tea before offering his own words of reassurance.
“Master, I concur with the Lord. Besides, I’m sure the Young Master has learned a lot about the world outside the forest with all those books he reads.” Albert chuckled as he remembered the Young Master's love for books.
His Young Master had finished reading all the books in the library by the time he was nine. So, for the past couple of years, Albert had been talking to the local merchants to purchase more books for Art to read.
“Haa… I guess you might be right Albert.” Jeanne sighed as she finally calmed down and accepted the fact that Art was gone.
Ayden gave a mixed look to Albert. He was thankful that Albert got his wife to calm down. But he was also annoyed the old man didn’t help him sooner.
Looking more spirited, Jeanne shared her final concern.
“I just hope those brats at the academy don’t mess with my baby.” Jeanne curled her fist into a ball as she thought of the possibility.
At her notion, Albert couldn’t help but chuckle.
“Hey! Why are you laughing?!” Jeanne stood up and berated Albert for laughing at her.
If Albert was sure of one thing, he was sure no students would mess with the Young Master.

Most of the students started to look around at the yell of the student.
“There! At the corner of the black table!” One student announced and pointed as he spotted Art.
“Oh my god, it’s true, a member of the Sophos family!” A girl shouted as she saw Art.
“I can’t believe a member of the Sophos family is here!” A boy expressed his disbelief despite seeing Art with his own eyes.

No matter who spoke up, what they said carried similar notions.
Some were shocked at the appearance of a member of the Sophos family that had gone unnoticed until now.
This was the common sentiment that was carried.
However, others were horrified knowing a member of the Sophos family would be their classmate.
Sophos.
The great family of the north. They protected the northern border of the Walpurgis alliance from magical beasts coming from the Skadi Mountain Range.
Not much was known about the Sophos family due to their secluded lifestyle. But the things that were known about them terrified most people.
To most of the world, the Sophos family were a bunch of battle-crazed maniacs.
After seeing Art, the students started to gossip, discussing what they knew about the Sophos family.
A girl with red hair spoke up, “I heard they rip magical beasts apart with their bare hands.”
“I heard they torture magical beasts by lighting them on fire.”
“I heard they once went on an expedition to the Skadi mountain range and only the family head returned alive.”
The last student made exaggerated hand gestures as if telling a ghost story.
“What! They kill people?!” A girl shrieked as she assumed the worst.
“Who knows, they just said that only the family head returned alive.”
The student shrugged as he didn’t know the full story.
Art lowered his head in embarrassment as the students started to talk about his family.
The worst part? It was that even if he wanted to refute it, he couldn’t.
Except the Shiva Mountain Range Expedition, which was just an expedition that went horribly wrong. All of what they said was true. He had personally seen his mother rip apart an inferno bear with her bare hands.
It was all in the history books in his family’s library. And they were marked down as accomplishments by his ancestors. There were many more crazy feats done by his ancestors that the public didn’t know about in those books. However, Art never had any plans of telling anyone.
From the yellow and blue tables, Jamie and Jean had grim looks on their faces as they realized they had laughed at a member of the Sophos family.
He wouldn’t kill them, would he? He wouldn’t, right? Right?
The students that had been sitting next to Art stealthily moved seats to be a bit further from him.
“Hey! I think he’s getting mad.” One student had noticed Art staring down at the table.
“Heek!” One of the girls that was gossiping about Art shrieked.
In an instant, the students stopped their gossip.
“Man, I can’t believe that three of the four pillars are here.”
One of the students that hadn’t been gossiping, spoke in amazement.
“Yeah, you’re right. To think we have three of them in our class. This will probably go down in history.” The student next to him agreed.
The Four Pillars of the Walpurgis.
In the north, there was the Sophos family. In the east, there was the Weiss family. In the south, there was the Fortis family. And in the west, was the Helt family.
Each family held proficiency in their own unique element.
Weiss of Light.
Fortis of Darkness.
Sophos of Space.
And Helt of Time.
These four families made up the founding members of the Walpurgis Alliance. Their prestige was like no other in the Walpurgis Alliance. They held absolute authority in the section of the Walpurgis Alliance they governed.
To Art’s knowledge, having three members of the four pillars in the same year at Edelweiss had never happened before. At most, it has always been two.

Staring at the three kids from the Weiss, Fortis, and Sophos families, Senia grumbled.
‘Damn it, we ask them to coordinate with us if they’re gonna send their kids here, but they never listen.’ Senia just wished those great families just worked with the academy so they could prepare for situations like this.
Although she had known that the three kids were coming, an unexpected situation had occurred.
Earlier she had waited before entering the hall to let the kids talk about the kids from the Weiss and Fortis families and made her entrance when she felt that their talk had died down a little.
But since the existence of the Sophos family child had been unknown until now, once he was revealed, their gossip had started up again. And it didn’t help that their family had such poor rumors around them.
Senia couldn’t help but let out a sigh. There was no use brooding on what had passed, so she needed to get the kids back on track.
Senia started a quick chant.

Senia clapped her hands together.
Booooooom
A loud boom sounded out, making the student cover their ears.
“Okay, everyone! Let’s continue with the ceremony!” Senia reverted to her cheerful self as she addressed the students.
