It was the summer of 2006.
Karakuno detective agency had saved people's lives, and solved dozens of cases.
It was a place in the center of the city, being able to reach every part of the city at equal speed and get information much better.
With its endless achievements, award ceremonies, and reliable employees, it may have been the best detective agency in Rhode Island. It was an agency that had gained the trust of people and had taken its precautions firmly despite any danger.
It was consisting of exactly 24 members, and with different levels, it developed methods of confiscating cases at a small or large level, no matter how dangerous it could be.
And this detective agency, of course, had somebody, who had everyone's apple of an eye.
Ohba Akagawa.
Ohba Akagawa was a 24-year-old detective, who lived in North-West, Newport, Rhode Island, while being somebody who had enough experience in a detective agency.
He was a young man, who was 5'9, had black short hair, blue eyes, a charming charisma, a very pure face, and a personality that only seek the truth. He was a person that truly admired being a detective.
Although he was among the rookies, his abilities as a detective at a young age and the interesting tactics he used to decode cases had made him a topic of conversation and the center of attention both inside and outside the office.
As he has done a successful job in many cases, he climbed the ranks on his job by being successful on every case that he attended and solving many mysteries.
So lately, all he was doing was following his daily routine.
He would usually get up early in the morning from his two-story apartment building, a ten-kilometer distance from the office where he worked, and start doing research after coming to his senses for a while. Ohba was a child who had been interested in solving mysteries since he was a little boy, so as he got up early in the morning, he would usually stand by different parts of Newport City and would begin to study the details and people of that area for a case that may occur later. And he would usually note them, in a little notebook he carried.
Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings.
Thus, he was the rookie who usually filled out all the information, when he needed to hand in any documents in his cases.
He usually drank one or two cans of juice every once in a while, as he is very fond of it at work and in his free time. He also loved the early hours of the morning and the time when the sun doesn't rise very much. So he usually liked to walk around a lot on cloudy days and would take a good sip of the cold air. He was someone who people usually see outside often and somebody who liked to spend time alone.
But his lone walks, wasn't going to last long after that day.
"Ohba! The chief wants to talk to you about something, He says that it is very important."
Ohba's silent office, which was only covered with a TV voice, was cut with loud talking.
Of course, Ohba, who was watching the TV with pure attention at the time, was distracted all of a sudden.
"I will be there in a couple of seconds. I just have to look at something." He brushed it off with, as he once again turned to television to listen to a man that was talking.
A small square TV hung on the wall of the room, filling the space in the room every time the man on the screen spoke. That's why Ohba got caught up on the screen while listening in the first place.
"..Newport's people will not be affected by any of it. Warnel Cooperations, will still continue to sell its own brands."
"But Mister Kenry, while the events that have been occurring around the city, a lot of your coworkers and employees have been disappeared in the last month. And while you have made an explanation about the recent events, the rate still goes on and on."
"What would you like to say about that Mr. Warnel?" Another sound rose from the crowd of Journalists.
*His smooth attitude covers every part of his body and tries not to give any emotion. He seems very confident about the speech he gives and looks like he practiced it. But practicing might be the key. And that is it.*
While examining the speech, Ohba looked out to every detail.
*His speech can be flawless and he is quite assuring, but the hand movements he does in front of the audience are.. quite different. Normally a person would put his hands on the table, or somewhere he feels safe. But he is desperately trying to prove something with his gesture. Something that he might want to implement.*
And while he did that, despite the pressure created by the press, the man on the TV continued to explain it calmly.
"From cars, to having houses. Our company will work with simplicity and will not bother any customers again. We are currently trying to create a marketing strategy in every area and invest in many things at once and as possible as we can. So being patient is the only key we have."
The man then slowly started moving and said while waving goodbye,
"This is it for today. Other parts of the information will be given later. Take care, everybody."
"Kenry Warnel... A man of business."
"Hey! Ohba! Mr. Enmei is getting much more grumpy you know!"
"I'm sorry. I'll be right there."
As he got out of his thoughts, he got out of his room.
