Noah's eye widened in bewilderment as he heard those word. I brought that horrible creature to this world?. But how?.
It wasn't clear to him at all.
"What do you mean I brought it to this world?".
He looked at Noah anxiously before continuing.
"The void being is a creature made from negative human emotions and actions. It's only purpose is to kill whoever summoned it . And it will keep hunting down the person no matter where he goes until...."
Noah heart skipped a beat, sweat buds were already forming on his forehead. Hunt him down? Kill him?. Is that why it was after him yesterday.
"But how, I don't remember summoning a demon" Noah said shaking
"It's not a demon, the void being is a creature formed by humans themselves. Maybe you accidentally summoned one unknowingly".
"No, no ,no ,no, this can't be happening. So you're telling me that I am the target of a man eating creature.".
He turned his back to Noah , walking away .
Noah called out immediately, with his hands stretched out.
"Please wait, give me a clue. I don't understand any of this. None of this makes any sense. Void being? This is the first time I have heard of it."
He stopped, not turning back as he spoke.
"It can also be summoned through a combined ritual where as in a person that knows he is not strong enough can combine the ritual increasing their odd of beating the void being"
Noah stared at him, closely paying attention to not miss a single detail.
" Defeating the void being gives the person an unimaginable amount of power , but only if you can actually beat it. It's not really an easy task".
Noah's mind flashed back to when he was punched by it. He could still remember the excruciating pain he felt .
"But I didn't do any ritual, I don't even think I know how to". Noah replied trying to clear things out.
Then the word combined ritual made Noah realize maybe he was unintentionally added to the ritual.
"Can you be added to the ritual without your consent whatsoever?". He asked hoping to hear no.
"Yes , you can but the person must be someone close , someone you trust".
"Then who could have done this?!" He said out loud, panicking now.
He looked at Noah with a piercing stare , one that delved deep into his very soul
"Think Noah, is there anything you think that might relate to this".
Then suddenly Noah gasped in realization. He remembered.....................................................
.....................
As the final bell rang, signaling the end of yet another tedious school day, Noah felt a surge of relief wash over him.
He couldn't wait to escape the confines of the high school walls and retreat to the comfort of his own home.

He quickly packed up his book and shoved it into his back pack. Just as he turned to leave, however, his best friend, Ceasser appeared out of nowhere, enthusiasm radiating from his every pore.
"Hey, Noah! Guess what? There's a party happening this weekend, and you've got to come!" Ceaser exclaimed, his eyes brimming with excitement.
Noah couldn't help but feel a sense of dread wash over him at the mere mention of a party. Parties were not his scene, and he preferred the quiet solitude of his room over the chaotic energy of a social gathering any day.
He sighed heavily before responding
"I don't know, Ceaser. Parties aren't really my thing," Noah hesitantly replied, trying to find a polite way to decline the invitation. Ceaser's face fell, disappointment etched across his features.
"But wait, hear me out," Ceaser pleaded, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"Rumor has it that May will be there. You know, your crush since forever?"
At the mention of May's name, Noah's heart skipped a beat. His crush on her had been a closely guarded secret, buried deep within his heart.
The mere thought of seeing her at the party caused a flurry of conflicting emotions to collide within him.
Noah nervously chewed on his lower lip, contemplating Ceaser's proposition. On one hand, the idea of finally mustering up the courage to ask May out, surrounded by the support of friends, made his heart flutter with hope.
On the other hand, he had never attended a party before, and the thought of navigating through the unknown social landscape made him anxious.
After what seemed like an eternity of internal struggle, Noah sighed, his resolve wavering. "Alright, fine. I'll go," he finally conceded, much to Ceaser's delight.
Perhaps attending this party would provide him with the perfect opportunity to forge a connection with May, to inch closer to turning his dreams into reality.
As the weekend approached, Noah's nerves soared. He did his best to calm the butterflies flitting within his stomach, reassuring himself that this would be a night destined for memories and growth. The hours leading up to the party felt like an eternity as he contemplated countless scenarios and conversations that might occur.
He came to the party wearing a white hoodie and slim fitted pair of black jeans. He wanted to go with something simple.
Stepping into the pulsating heart of the party, Noah's senses were immediately overwhelmed.
He couldn't find Ceaser anywhere.
The air buzzed with the sounds of laughter, music, and carefree banter. Anxiety gripped him, threatening to pull him back into the familiar comfort zone of his introverted self. But then he saw her, a beacon of radiance in the crowd, and his worries melted away.
Summoning a newfound courage, Noah took a deep breath and weaved his way through the maze of people towards May. As he approached her, his heart thundered within his chest, threatening to expose his deepest desires. But he knew that this was his moment, his chance to take a step outside his comfort zone and embrace vulnerability.
And so, with a trembling voice and a nervous smile,
"Hi May. How's the party?".
The music were loud so she couldn't quite hear what he said since he spoke in a low tone.
"What?".
He repeated the words he said , only louder this time.
"Ohhh, the party's going great. I didn't know you like parties, that's surprising". She teased him , while taking little sips from her plastic cup of alcohol
He saw this a perfect opportunity to really get to know May and he wasn't going to miss it.
"Uhmmm, it's getting really noisy with the music and all, so I was wondering if we could go somewhere more quiet you know"
Months of longing culminated in this single moment, and he silently prayed for a positive response. May's eyes lit up with surprise and a hint of curiosity, and she agreed to his invitation.
He was taking a huge risk here ,but he was prepared for the worst after all she was the only reason why he came to this party in the first place.
She paused looking at him, smiling innocently. "Sure, if you say so".
They got to the backyard of the house were the noise was less. They were few people outside, mostly making out but that didn't bother Noah.
As the night progressed and Noah found himself immersed in conversations and laughter, he realized that attending this party had been the right decision after all.
He wasn't sure whether it was the alcohol she had just but she was really opening up to him. Every word from her mouth was sincere and that made Noah attraction for her skyrocket.
Under the moon casted light, her blue eyes and dark hair were what caught his attention most about her. She looked really beautiful.
Till he heard a voice from behind, cutting short their conversation , just as Noah's heart began to flutter with the possibility of something more, their intimate moment was abruptly shattered.
A shadow cast over the backyard, and turned around to find Raphael, the school's bully towering above him.
"What are you doing with my girl? "He barked
Noah had no idea Raphael was her boyfriend , a personification of everything Noah despised – arrogance, aggression, and a complete lack of empathy.
A venomous sneer adorned the Raphael face as he recognized the Noah's vulnerability and discomfort in social situations.
It was evident that his presence alone was enough to embarrass and humiliate him. He seized this moment to assert his dominance, relishing in the power he held over his "inferior" peer.
"What are you doing here freak? Are you a pervert who now goes after people's girlfriend?". He said wearing a nasty grin on his face.
Noah was mute with his head to the ground.
With each cruel word uttered, Noah felt his heart shatter into a million irreparable pieces.
This was not what he had in mind for tonight.
The embarrassment washed over him, painting his cheeks crimson and tarnishing his self-esteem. In that moment, he felt smaller than ever before, invisible to the world around him.
As Noah tried to gather the remnants of his shattered confidence, he looked towards May, desperate for a sliver of support or understanding.
To his surprise, she had resolved to take action.
"That's enough Raph, you were drinking with your buddies and he was just keeping me company".
With a determination that matched her unwavering spirit, she pleaded with Noah to leave this toxic environment, recognizing the pain in his eyes.
"Yeah, walk away you freak. I can't imagine a person dumb enough to invite you to their party."
Then grabbing May's ass and pulling her close to him , giving her a passionate kiss with no regards to how that would make Noah feel.
He wanted to make sure Noah knows his place and someone as gorgeous as May can never settle for someone like him.
In a daze,May followed him back into the house , leaving him standing behind.
The air outside around him felt cold and he couldn't help but feel a mixture of heartbreak. Though gratitude for the May who saw past his introversion and noticed how much emotional pain he was in and decided to step in to end it.
Left all alone in the aftermath, Noah couldn't help but replay the night's events in his mind. He was now a solitary figure, drowning in the sea of heartbreak. The party continued in his absence, unaware of the emotional turmoil that had unraveled his spirit. And as
the night grew darker, he realized that sometimes, even the most cherished moments can be cruelly snatched away, leaving a bittersweet taste in their wake.
