I checked what fell from the Waterfall Leopard first. I found that he dropped a level 15 Uncommon Shoes, it wasn't anything great. It's stats was at least 4 times as useful as my level 3 Common Shoes, and it had the weird name...
Falling Shoes (Uncommon)
Requirements:
Level: 15
AGI: 25
DEX:10
Stats:
Movement Speed: 5 (You gain 1 movement speed every 5 AGI, while the base movement speed while running for every character is 150)
AGI : 3
Special Ability for Falling Shoes: You can fall from any waterfall using this shoes!
I don't know if the creator of this item was on drugs or what, but this special ability is dumb... Can't I just jump? Why would I need this shoes? Unless it actually slip people and force them to fall to their death!
I looked and there was another drop, which was shining. I looked at it, and found that it was actually a Rare drop! My first Rare drop! It was considered a 'weapon', which was a glove with claws on them. I read the stats and was shock, it looked cool!
Waterfall's Discipline (Rare)
Requirements:
Level: 5
AGI: 20
STR: 5
Stats:
Atk: 16
AGI: 10
Attack Speed: 3 (Increases by 1 everytime you put 4 AGI points in your stats, starts at 2 when AGI is 0)
Special Ability: 20% chance to cause you enemy to bleed. (Bleed, making the target bleed make them lose 1% of their health each second for 5 seconds, might differ in value depending on the enemy's stats.)
Special Ability: 10% chance to Hit twice while attacking once.
It was so amazing! I am the happiest... I just need to make my stats suitable for it!
I then looked toward the items that dropped from the silver chest to find a rusty book. I grabbed it and it was actually an active skill!
Arrows of Magic (Active Skill) (Rare) (Upgradable until Epic)
Cost: 3MP
This skill allow you to shoot your bow or crossbow without needing real arrows. Can be used with arrows to give a buff to the damage dealt.
Now, this is a really helpful skill! If I got it while hunting those Angry Bulls, I am pretty sure I would have never came here!
After using the Skill Book and gaining the skill, an old man scared me saying "Hoo, you killed the Waterfall Leopard! You must be a strong adventurer! Would you mine trying a small trial?"
I looked at the old man trying to see his level, but to my shock, his stats were like this
Old man
Lv??
I won't lie it freaked me out, since his level is hidden he is probably one strong old man. I said after thinking for a minute "What do I gain from the trial?"
He replied "You are a promising young man, so I will give you a choice. I will let you choose on what difficulty you want to take the trial on, as for the prizes, they are secret!"
I smiled at him with full confidence and said "Can I try the hardest difficulty?... Ahhh Also, do you have Mana Potions? I lost my way from the village, and I didn't even remember where it is! or what is the village's name!"
Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
He started laughing "I can sell you Low Mana Potions, 20 copper coins each, deal?"
I nodded at him and said "I will buy 5! Here is 100 copper coins!"
He took the copper coins, smirked, then gave me the Low Mana Potions and said "Do you need Low Health Potions too?"
I said "How much?", he replied "30 each!"
I said "give me 2, here is 60 copper coins!"
The old man said "Thank you for the patronage!"
I was happy to finally get my first potions so I said "No problem!" with the biggest smile I could give.
He nodded and said "It will start now! Prepare yourself!"
I nodded at him, I was excited to see what trial it was. Just as it started, the world disappeared, and I entered to a strange world that is painted red. So many skeletons started rising, all of the using daggers as weapons, and were level 4 just like me!
I took out my Horn Crossbow and started firing randomly at them. The trial was finally named.
Trial of Resolve (Hell)
Kill 10,000 Thief Skeletons to clear this trial!
3/10,000
I was shocked... They want me to kill 10,000... I killed 3 already and got no EXP at all! The reward better be worth it, otherwise I will be a really unlucky one!
I continued using my Arrows of Magic. When I feel like I am being caught or my MP is depleting, I run far away to drink a mana potion, or just to keep myself away from them. This continued until I had no mana potions left. I still needed to kill more than 8,000 Skeletons!
Since I was moving around them in a circle, I started grabbing the daggers that the dead Skeletons drop, and then started throwing them at the Skeletons, dealing decent damage, even if it was not a 1 hit kill like my arrows, it was still good enough to complete the mission.
I spent 6 hours of doing the same thing over and over again! It was so boring, but I am finally done! The reward better be worth it! Ah... I also got my Passive Skill upgraded near the end!
Lucky Miss! /Lucky Strike! (Uncommon) (Upgradable until Mythical)
When an enemy attacks you or cast a skill on you, there are 10% additional chance for that attack to miss. There is a 10% additional chance that your attacks will hit their target!
NEW! Lucky Draw!: When receiving any kind of reward/drop, there is a 0.005% chance to get a better reward/drop.
'The new part of the skill was amazing... Even if the percentage was small, it was still amazing. If it only activates when I receive this reward!'
I got out of the of the red world, just to see the old man smiling at me. I said "I passed the trial! Do I get the reward now?"
He started clapping and said "An outstanding adventurer like you deserve the highest prize! But before I give you the prize, can you hear this old man's story?"
I nodded, and wished there was popcorn to eat while listening to him.
He started speaking. "2000 years ago a great war occurred between the Light Church, and the Undead Dragon Lord Iteirras. In that war, me and my friend High Holy Paladin Robert were the only people with the Job 'Holy Paladin'. In our holy war against the Undead Dragon Lord, we fought with glory and never backed down, until the moment High Holy Paladin Robert, my dearest friend, backstabbed me! With my death, a lot more people were sacrificed in the fight, and those skeletons that you fought were once my comrades."
It was just too much for me to take... So many questions came to my mind, but I kept them to myself and kept on listening.
The old man continued "I found myself stuck here under this Waterfall after being backstabbed by Robert. At first I didn't know the reason of my existence, but after sometime I understood! The Light Church is going the wrong way, and I need to find a successor to take my Job as the Holy Paladin of the Light Church. At first I thought that you were fit to be only my successor, but after seeing your resolve, I understood that you are destined to be so much more!"
-Lucky Draw Activated!-
"Here is a Holy Paladin Class Change Token, and here is Demon Hunter Class Change Token!"
"I will also give you my inheritance, which is a set can only be worn by Holy Paladins, and will not be dropped as long as it is on you!"
I bowed a little and said "Thank you old man, I will try my best to return the Light Church to the right way!"
He smiled at me then disappeared.
I grabbed the Tokens and the new armor set, also the weird old book. It was time to check their stats! Looks like I struck gold!
