CHAPTER 34 - the trap

It was night time and it seemed that the team had long day. The team looked battered from the training. The team went back to their dorms as they were about to enter, Azari called out to Nica. Nica answered the call and asked "what's up?" . Azari just smiled and said " I wanna take you out on a date to this good place". Nica blushing stuttering " dddd..aaa.ttt.e!!' Inzo bluntly asked Azari " what are you scheming, it's hard to imagine someone asking a person they've known for 5 seconds out". Azari smiling replied by saying " well it takes 5 seconds to fall inlove, even if that person doesn't reciprocate its still love". Nica said " don't mind Inzo he's always moody I'll love to accompany you. But I hope it's not too far." Azari said "it's right here in school so let's go". Inzo( getting in the dorm) said " I diot don't forget my warning if you don't wanna die get away from the witch" (closingthe door).

Azari walking with Nica asked" what warning was that about ". Nica said " it's nothing the dude always says the dumbest and brooding things ever so don't pay attention ". Walking Nica was curious about the place they were going. He also smiled because it was his first time being with a girl. Azari playfully asked about where Nica train of thoughts are and is he thinking they might do the deed. Nica blushing dismissed the notion saying he was wondering how much they have to walk. Azari smirking said wait no longer , there was a big house infront of them. Azari asked nica to enter (Aw struck) Nica asked " isn't that my line ". Azari joked saying " this is my location so yeah , gentlemen first ". Nica laughed and said " I'll take the offer my lady "( taking a step inside ). As soon as he entered the door closed. Nica was shocked but didn't have a chance to process what was happening, he fell into a trap door. As soon as he woke up he was surrounded by large scorpions , snakes and creepy dolls.

Azari outside talked with his brother saying " be ready to take the body any seconds. After his death Father will remove the seal and bring peace to demon kind ". Santos follows his sister words and stood outside , anticipating the time to get in and remove the dead .Inside nica was swarmed by thousands of scorpions ,snakes and creepy dolls. Nica knew he could fight using his powers but something was disrupting him from doing so. While searching for something to use to fight he found a knife and he knew that Inzo gave him this . He regretted not listening to his advice judging by the number of monsters he knew he would be lucky to survive.

It's been two days and Nica hasn't been found so his friends and squad mates were worried. Both groups decided to go to the Last person that saw Nica. The went to Azari trying to figure out what happened to Nica. Azari wondered why the came to her. Inzo said" figuring you the last person who saw him . Even to go as far as asking for a date and then he ended up disappearing isn't normal Thing ". Azari (crying crocodile tears) said " yes I asked him and it's the biggest mistake of my life. He tried to misbehave with me so I'm mad at him and glad his missing". Then Azari ran away crying, Inzo asked" who's buying this?" , kotou said" well the seller was convincing and I might buy it ". Inzo said" let's split up search for him separately " they all agreed.

Azari went to Santos and asked if Nica is dead yet. Santos said "no , using my power wich are animal related I have a spy monitoring his health so no". Azari said" 2 days without food he'll die but for the mean time let's catch another sealer". Santos asked Azari to be wary because people are still suspicious if she made a move she'll be found out. Azari said she doesn't care she can get rid of the evidence using her status. Now it's time to hunt some prey. Santos asked who is the other sealer. Azari said it's jay the person who's always with Nica. Azari said " I used poison and fear for the first sealer, the second sealer I'm going to use torture and fear". Santos laughed and said "you know that you're scary ". Azari smiling said " I'll do anything to see father's dream come true and I'm not incompetent like you brother".

Kotou and jay were walking together and talking about their time on earth. Kotou asked " why do everyone in movies when they reach somewhere they say there it is?" Jay said " they're just letting you know the destination ." Kotou laughed saying " your stupid we have eyes and he isn't telling us he telling his group. He have to do that or he'll be breaking the fourth wall , like they don't see it too." Jay to be wife arrives and kotou noticing the made an excuse and went away. Jay suddenly noticing her arrival cursed kotou in his brain saying he wishes for him to be beaten by 1000 women. All of a sudden kotou while walking caught a cold having a dark premonition , he immediately prayed for bad luck to go . Jay was uncomfortable and didn't know what to say to her. He first thought to say" it's not you it's you, you're too ugly and literally a demon for us to mingle ." He immediately scrapped that thought knowing the wrath of the principle. So he devised a plan to be scum so he asked Alicia if they can do the did right here in the Forrest. Alicia showed no emotions and just said " I know you're my fiance but if you ever think I'm that type of woman I'll kill you." Jay scared said " i was joking love ." A voice came out saying " wow the man being dominated before marriage harsh but I couldn't expect more from a wimp." Trent appeared and asked jay to come with him. Earlier before this meeting happened Trent was introduced to Santos by Azari. Azari said" an enemy of an enemy is a friend and to seal the deal the enemy dreams of becoming a king's guard. So brother I introduce you to the piece that'll trap another sealer ." Jay scornful asked why would he go with him. Trent says he knows where Nica is and if he wants to see him he'd better be prepared to go. Jay agreed , then said he and Alicia are a package deal. They all went together .

Alicia was blushing asking herself if jay really meant all that what he said. Jay was thinking that he can use Alicia as a meat shield and she won't mind cause she's a demon she has no emotion. Jay thought if this leads to death atleast he won't have to marry a demon and be free From sin , after walking a comfortable distance in the school premises Trent said that they've arrived. Jay saw nothing but a clear field he was about to ask something but a trap got activated and he fell with Alicia. Trent looks back on the earlier talk with Azari. Azari told him about where an underground dungeon is located and how to activate it. Trent asked how does Azari know every secret in the school premises. Azari said she's royalty plus her family been going at the school for ages and he read all the books about the details of the school. Trent then smiles knowing his at the right side plus his dream will be fulfilled
