Chapter 18 - squad 1 first mission
Nica , Jay and kotou at the cafeteria talking about their training. Nica complaining that he's made to run 5000 laps around the school , kotou laughing says he saw that and asked is he trying to win a marathon or he trying to get strong. Jay says that's nothing because he's the punching bag of that grandpa and he uses the excuse of making me stronger by sparring with me , kotou commented by saying that's why you're black and blue I honestly thought that was make up . Kotou asked jay if his wife is okay with him being here instead of sitting next to her?. Jay says she's not my wife you idiot and why would he wanna see her , kotou trying to comfort his friend says you still embarrassed about your one minute strike but you shouldn't be coz you just gotta praise your wife for being talented in some places. Jay ticked of says how many times does he have to say he and Alicia haven't slept together yet and even if they did he would last longer , kotou asked is that so call her up and kiss her infront of us to show that there's no problem between you guys. Jay accepted the challenge and called Alicia over .Alicia walked straight to jay and asked shyly what did he need , Jay took her and kissed her , realizing what he did jay said he did not just fall for that and kotou just smiled and said you fell right into my trap so do you admit that you love her. Alicia embarrassed said if this what her husband wanted he should've just told her privately and she wouldn't have any problems or maybe her husband wanted to show the whole school their love he kissed jay on the chick and left.
Jay petrified asked who am I did I just what happened I'm staying in hell forever I just kissed a grandma he hurried to the toilet to throw up. Kotou said as Jay's running to the toilet you can't runaway from love. In the schools speaker the principle wanted to call a meeting of squard 1 and Nica hurried over there. All the freshman members of squard 1 was present including the teacher the principle explained that he called them here to give them their mission of escorting the famous merchant of spectra region . Nica asked what's the spectra region the principle surprised said you know that there are 12 demon lord right Nica agreed, the principle continued to say each of them control a region like this one their academy is at is called ignis region there's also Aurora region, Fontaine region, Greenleaf region, violight region, chrystalia region, illusio region, Terrera region, pugillis region, cragspur region,yaksha region and Avia region .Nica where does the ruler of hell live in these region , the principle explained that the ruler of hells domain is in the center of all 12 region and his region is called Valora. So squard 1 will accompany a demon merchant from Fontaine region to return back home. Squard 1 accepted the mission them along with the teacher Levesque went on the road and accompanied the merchant. Inzo asking Levesque why he accompanied them even though this is an escorting mission Levesque said you may meet some holy beast or other demons from enemy regions and that Inzo doesn't worry after they become second years he won't accompany them anymore.

Nica wondered why aren't they using wyvern to travel instead of walking , Levesque said that would be a waste in school resources and anyways if an assassin wanted to kill the person were escorting he'll shoot him down and we would be high up and not see the perpetrator. Levesque asking the excellent demon his name the demon introduced himself as hideyoshi and that may squard 1 take care of him. As they're walking Inzo and Nica are arguing about if a monster shows up who would kill it first Nica saying himself coz look at him he doesn't lack anything, Inzo commented and said yes you don't lack anything but a brain and power anyways weaklings aren't supposed to talk in the presence of absolute power. Maya laughed, Nica embarrassed asked Maya are you taking his side and besides his sure all Inzo is all talk no action. Levesque told the pair to stop squabbling there's a holy beast up ahead more precisely a holy unicorn.
