In the world of Hell, three friends - Jay, Nica, and Kotou - are  transported in hell by the ruler of hell for the seals in their bodies so the demons can rise again  and ridiculed for having only 1 unit of Diablo's Flame, the energy that powers demons. They're determined to survive the freshman competition at their school, where the losers will be expelled. Jay comes up with a plan for them to learn from their peers and teachers to increase their chances. As the tournament begins, Jay faces off against Alicia, the principal's daughter, in a intense match. Despite being outmatched, Jay uses his wit and resourcefulness to stay alive, but ends with a surprising move that leaves everyone in shock.
