Year 153, Record #756
The individuals called ‘Hizen’ and ‘Meissen’ successfully returned to us yesterday afternoon.
It seems that His Eminence’s experiment was only a partial success, as Meissen’s former memories apparently remain locked in their subconscious mind. Nevertheless, they have already made great progress with their Flyer and Founder abilities, and His Eminence is currently working to repair their 0-Servant partner. I predict that the two of them will become will become valuable allies to us in the future.
Recently, Our Lord invited His Eminence to meet with Her at the Nebula Access Shrine— in and of itself, this is not abnormal. As the founder of the POOL and a notable figure even in his past life, His Eminence has a particularly familiar relationship with Her, and they have met many times before. However, considering the timing...immediately after Meissen’s disruption of the Worm, and the revelation of their particularly diverting method of air-travel— which has not gone unnoticed among the citizenry— I fear that She may not have summoned His Eminence for just any ordinary meeting.
I have decided not to tell him about this until after the wedding. I would rather not give him cause for alarm just yet….If my suspicions are correct, however, our ‘vanguard of chaos’ may be our only remaining hope. The time of secrecy is drawing to a close...and only drastic action will keep us from being ensnared in our own web of lies.

I discussed this with Meissen earlier today, by asking them about their plans for the future. They related to me that they had become enamored with the ‘Dis-Ordered World’ underneath the East Crown, especially after their most recent, longer stay there during their return to the city. So I suggested to them that it might be beneficial to create a larger one, deep enough underground to protect its citizens from harmful Nebula signals like CDY101-9.
Meissen seemed receptive to the idea, although they admitted that their Founder powers were not yet developed enough for the task. They decided that they would wait until Hizen had recovered, ask for his opinion, and return to the Dis-Ordered World to get more feedback on the idea, all the while continuing to hone their skills. Of this, I approved.
...At times, I see aspects of my past self within them: in their love of community, the effervescent joy in their facial display...and in their unwavering devotion to their own ‘superior’. I hope that the challenges they face will not diminish those qualities, and that one day they will find the peace and self-fulfillment that I have. With fewer regrets, of course, and with still brighter hopes.
Take flight, Servant. And I will watch over you, with great anticipation.
