Day 4
I’ve prepared the mana cages. I’m just about ready to set out. This should be a good catch. According to Mel there were around four confirmed species in the mouth of the cave.
Wow. I think I've found the slime gold mine. There were so many Slimes. I couldn’t find any more than four different types, however the cave was coated with slime bodies. There must be a queen slime inside that dungeon. For now here’s a list of my captures.
Blue Slime x7
Red Slime x3
Moss Slime x3
Earth Slime x1
In case someone who has no idea about Slimes picks up this log, I might as well give a basic explanation about each type. Currently there is little knowledge on Slimes or their habits but i’ll give you a list of all known species of slime.
Basic Types: Slimes with no elemental attributes
Blue Slime - The most common type of slime. Known for their high Physical Damage Resistance, and their low Magic Damage Resistance. Can reproduce with any type of slime. Production by blue slime, Royal Slime, Queen Slime, Large Blue Slime, and Goliath Blue Slime.
Red Slime - The second most common type of slime. Known for their high Magic Damage Resistance, and their low Physical Damage Resistance. Can reproduce with any type of slime. Production by Red Slime, Royal Slime, Queen Slime, Large Red Slime, and Goliath Red Slime.
Gray Slime - Very rare type of slime. Known for their both high Physical and Magic Damage Resistance. Can reproduce with Gray Slime, and Royal Slime. Production unknown.
Typically F to D rank.
Elemental Types: Slimes made from a single element of their environment
Too many to list.
Each elemental slime holds the attribute of the element they absorbed. Fire Slimes Burn. Ice Slimes are cold. Ect…
Unauthorized use of content: if you find this story on Amazon, report the violation.
Typically D to C rank.
Combination Types: Slimes made from multiple attributes or elements
Again too many to list however they typically consist of combinations of basic types and elemental types like Red Fire Slime or Water Earth Slime. Both of which have their individual advantages against different enemies.
Typically C to B rank.
Item Type - Combination types that are considered a failure.
Typically share multiple attributes of an item with a weak ability. C rank at highest. Certain Item types are valued as crafting material. Examples include Iron Slime, Hammer Slime. Typically die soon after birth. Production method, Food source/Mixing of Combination types or Elemental types.
Variant Types: Slime with either Attributes or Elemental Attributes that show similar traits
Boost Slime - Slimes with a short lifespan but a huge core output. The core acceleration typically adds one level to the Slimes rank. (C -> C+) (B+ -> A) ect...
Large Slimes - Slime made from the combination of one hundred similar types of Slimes. Large Blue Slimes are the most common of these, however it has also been found to happen with elementals or rarely combination types. Can increase a Rank by three levels. (C -> B)(B -> A) ect...
Goliath Slimes - Slimes made from the combination of ten thousand similar types of Slimes or one hundred Large Slimes. Any basic Goliath found can be called an A ranked or higher. Elemental are S ranked and higher. And there has only been one case of a combination Goliath that was Ranked as a SSS to X Rank. Little else is known about Goliaths.
Spiked Slimes - Slimes whose membrane protrude spikes. Cores are best used for weapon types.
Unable to list others due to lack of data.
Unknown if applicable with Royal Types.
Royal Types: Slimes that produce other Slimes or protect those who do
Royal Slime Guards - Powerful Slimes that cannot reproduce. Made from the production of either Queen or King Slime. Ranks around C to B rank. Moderate resistance from both physical and magical damage.
King Slime - Powerful Slimes that can produce a small amount of Royal Slime Guards. Battle power is around B to A rank on its own, S rank when production of Royal Slime Guards is complete. Typically found near a queen Slime. Moderate resistance from both physical and magical damage.
Queen Slime - Week Slime that can produce large amounts of Basic or Elemental Slimes. Power is Ranked D to C. High damage resistance to both Magic and Physical Damage.
Unknown if able to have combination attributes.

Okay, for starters i'm going to attempt to create a Gray Slime. I think almost anyone who has any idea about slime reproduction could theories that you would need both a red and blue slime to make one. The main problem people had was the difficulty of having two different slime species to mix their core. To mix cores typically slimes would need to be of the same species, however I found that if one slime is in desperate need of food it would feast on its own kind. By doing this it would cause a forced mix of two different cores with the downside being that one of the Slimes would be destroyed. The only problem with this method is that once the slime consumed its own kind the core is extruded from its membrane. This is why I’ve gone through the effort of traveling deep into Chocry Kingdom.
A fungus known as Condensidosi is prominent in this area. It's only found within this forest and areas with very low concentrations of mana. For some reason the amount of mana in this place remains constant allowing for magical creatures like Slime Queen to spawn into existence. The function of this fungus is similar to an Iron Skin potion if not a lot more potent. The level of toxins found within make it inedible to humans, monsters like Slimes on the other hand have a high level of poison resistance. I think you can understand where i'm going with this. I’ll continue the log after the first experiment.
