“God damn, that is what the fuck I’m talking about,” Elizabeth said as she stood up. It was either that outburst or a literal explosion of dangerous Energy-laced Skills.
The twenty-four hours in the Meditation were well spent, to say the least. Alas, for reasons Elizabeth couldn’t control, she could not continue. She didn’t lack the time, as she had spent less than five hours in the Meditation Chamber under time distortion. Nor did she lack the means, as she had hundreds of Twinkling Comet Marked Tickets to spare.
Instead, it was one of her internal residents throwing a fit that threw a wrench in her most productive cultivation session.
“You fucking piece of shit, idiot host!” Lisa’s voice shook the Spiritual Sea around her domain in Elizabeth’s Soul Land.
Her voice was threatening the line between screech and wail as she said, “I spend my Essence on helping your shitty cultivation and this is how you repay me? You’ve been ignoring my motherfucking needs for weeks bitch, and I’m fucking hungry!”
“Tsk,” Elizabeth winced at the pain she felt from the back of her shoulder. She touched the burning spot of skin near her Mark of the Godslayer and responded to her grumpy fiendish incarnation, “Alright, alright. I’ll do the Death Substation Trial before anything else.”
“Are you testing me right now?” Lisa dangerously intoned, “I’ll fucking kill you if you don’t shape up eventually…”
[Innate Skills:

Current Effect: …You can persist through about two weeks before feeling the urge to kill. After a month and a half of chastity from Death, you die outright.]
“Yeah, yeah. Whatever,” Elizabeth dismissed her after a quick check of her Innate Skill.
She didn’t have to listen to her incarnation, death was still a ways away. However, Lisa had a point.
Elizabeth thought, ‘She’s kind of annoying and I’d rather not deal with this right now. But she has done a lot for me up until now. She’s been cooperative and even helpful, her foul mouth aside…’
“You know what? If I don’t get a proper Death-type Cultivation Method by the end of the Death Substation Trial, I’ll spend one of my rewards on one. Just for you,” Elizabeth grumbled at Lisa.
As her Cultivation Base rose, she would need to spend more time on cultivating to further progress. It wouldn’t serve her well to let this problem continue; consequently, steadily progressing in the field of Death was of high priority.
Thus, Elizabeth returned to the round room. She could have easily taken care of getting her bi-monthly Death fix by spending a single Yellow or Grey Twinkling Comet Ticket and absorbing Death Energies in the Meditation Chamber. However, if there was even a chance that she could get a Death-type Cultivation Method by progressing through the Death Substation Trial, she would opt for that first.
Upon returning to the round room, Elizabeth spotted Yrre meditating by the center of the room, but in the end, she didn’t bother her.
She quietly walked into the open door labeled “Death,” and temporarily grew confused as the room remained as white and empty as it was initially, even after the seconds passed.
[Foundation Trial of Death
Convert as many pocket dimensions to wastelands of Death as quickly as possible. Performance will be graded on the time taken to complete the task or where you stand at the point of the Trial concluding.
Time Remaining: 23H 59M 59S]
“You mean…” Elizabeth stopped as she answered her own question before it could even be asked.
The white room eroded away at just the slightest exposure of her Death True Qi, revealing underneath what looked to be a slightly less barren, yet still plain, white room.
In the second pocket dimension, hiding underneath the first, there was the occasional bump in the otherwise plain white floor. Though, Elizabeth didn’t bother to study the changes as the second, third, fourth, and so on iterations of the pocket dimensions melted without the slightest resistance against her Death True Qi.
“Hmm?” Elizabeth felt one of her brows subconsciously rise as she detected a foreign energy by the tenth time her Death True Qi consumed the increasingly-complex white room. This foreign energy escalated in intensity, from being hardly detectable to a resistance-worthy threat to her Death True Qi, in a matter of seconds.
However, before it could become too much of a problem, Elizabeth stopped herself. A smug look plagued her face as she found what she was looking for.

“And so it begins,” Elizabeth said.
She concluded her initial meditation on the Cultivation Method and Skill she had acquired from reaching the twenty-fifth pocket dimension and was ready to make the most out of the challenges before her. The only thing that changed was the method she used to advance.
With Life Reversal, Elizabeth no longer needed to go through the process of converting her True Qi into Death Qi to corrode the environment around her. Instead, the skill would convert the existing Energies around her to Death.
“Hahaha,” Elizabeth laughed upon discovering an exploit of the Life Reversal Skill.
“This is so fucking broken, it’s not even funny,” She said, feeling her Cultivation slowly start to increase.
As a Cultivator following the Extreme Perfection Path, the foundation she had built up in the Mortal Realm was displaying its latent potential as it was able to instantly absorb all the Energies she had converted to Death.
After she hit her limit, upon reaching the 28th iteration of the pocket dimension, yet another unbelievable convenience presented itself to her.
“Up until the twenty-fifth iteration, these pocket dimensions only carried with them pure Life Energies. Now, there are some Elemental Energies being added into the mix as the pocket dimension continues to develop into more and more of a forest environment,” She mumbled, smirking in self-content.
“With all these Energies autonomously being regenerated faster than I can convert them, I have an endless source of Death Qi to supplement my cultivation,” She concluded.
She thought, ‘It's almost too good to be true.’
“Heh, almost,” she muttered before focusing on developing her abilities.
With over twenty-three hours to go and one of the best possible cultivation methods to tackle the Death Substation Trial, Elizabeth's progress put her performance in the Water Substation Trial to shame.
Unassisted, she took to improving her Understanding of Death with talent one would expect out of Excellent Tier Affinity. Yet, that dwarfed the absurdity Elizabeth displayed after she managed to placate Lisa.
“Oi, watching your poor control is seriously depressing me,” Lisa said. Elizabeth had only been practicing for three hours by that point.
“Why don’t you hand over the controls and watch how a pro does it?” Lisa added.
“Sure,” Elizabeth rolled her eyes, “teach me your ways, great master…”
With the literal blink of her eyes, she handed over the figurative controls to her body over to Lisa, sat back atop the Stargazer Lily holding the embodiment of her Death Cultivation within her Soul Land, and watched as Lisa boosted her cultivation like an auto-clicker to an idle game.
…
“I guess this is where we part,” Sun said as he looked at Jiuu, Liam, and Kirun.
“Dude…” Liam stared at Sun in disbelief, “What the hell was that?!”
Less than a minute ago, their group had been in the middle of studying the texts covering the walls in the third instance of the Yang Trial and in the next, Sun erupted with a potent enough Yang Qi to inspire fear in his Foundation Collapse Stage companions. With the pulse of his Yang Qi, the path to the fourth instance of the Yang Trial opened.
“Was that…” Kirun looked at Jiuu in bewilderment. She thought she knew what it was that Sun just displayed, yet didn’t dare believe it was possible for someone in the Transcendent Foundation Stage.
“Sun, did you just comprehend a Profound Truth?” Jiuu asked, fearful of the implications that would arise if that were indeed the case.
Instead of immediately issuing a verbal response, Sun first held out his hand and watched as wisps of Yang Flames gradually shifted from red to orange, yellow, and stopped between a mix of light green and blue. Solar light sparkling within the flames, horrifying all those present from how potent and pure it was. Yet, even Sun who spawned the flames felt no heat on the surface of his palm.
“I guess this means my Understanding of Yang has reached such a level with regards to the Concept of Enrichment that I’ve learned a Profound Truth,” Sun said. His tone, a mix of appreciation and calm.
“But that’s impossible!” A shrill voice rapidly drew closer.
“A Transcendent Foundation Stage brat has no right to learn a Profound Truth before me! Especially not human filth like you!”
To the group’s dismay, the source of the outrage was a Core Formation expert.
Originally, the elderly Cultivator had left the group alone with just a scoff of derision. But that was before Sun had unwittingly shattered his pride. Whereas Sun had passed the third instance of the Yang Trial in less than a day, the Core Formation elder had been stranded in the room for years.
Before Jiuu could get a word in, a gale of Yang-type Air Qi was sent blasting towards Sun. This was the full-force attack of a Core Formation Stage Cultivator, yet Sun remained unnaturally calm. He merely narrowed his eyes and pointed with his finger.
Shing!
A streak of Pure Yang cut through the gale like a hot knife through butter. Concealed within the Pure Yang was an ember of the same Pure Yang Flames Sun had shown earlier and upon contact with the Core Formation expert’s unguarded body, its effect was exaggerated.
Soundlessly, the ember seemed to phase through the Core Formation expert's body. A couple tense moments later and heat that could only naturally come from the stars began to expel from the elder's extremities.
“Ack—” The Core Formation elder, was left on his knees, leaking blood from all his facial orifices as he entered a coughing fit.
“Behave yourself,” Sun coldly said. “You may have a higher Cultivation Base than me and perhaps hold hundreds of times more energy in your Dantian, but that means nothing if my Yang Qi is thousands of times purer than yours.”
The only reason he didn’t instantly kill his assailant was out of respect for both his Agrian companions and Elizabeth as the Agrian Shaman Priestess.
He said, “Now get out before I decide your mistake shouldn’t be forgiven.” His piercing black eyes left little to the imagination of what he would do if the Core Formation elder didn’t take the hint.
