Tell me your favorite moments or your most hated moments! There will be an editing pass before book 1 stubs and moves to amazon so all critique will be considered. Especially if anyone wants to reread the novel. We worked with a few beta readers and they had access to the entire book at once. Ultimately, they gave very different feedback, which led to some very interesting differences between their reactions and the RR audience reaction. I'm writing this on 9/2, and we've currently drafted about 80k words of book 2 which is about 35 chapters. So work is coming along nicely, and you can check out the patreon for more specific updates. Now for the slightly negative news. This book is gonna go on hiatus for a bit while we fix some problems/plotholes. As many have pointed out, Lightning Lord of Catgirls really isn't a comedy, it's much closer to a dark fantasy, with comedic moments intermingled. To lean into that some parts of book 2 need to be rewritten, and to do that the book needs to be largely finished. I'm not sure how long that will take tbh. Could be a couple of weeks, could be over a month.

Now for the schedule, I would ideally like to upload book 2 in October and finish uploading sometime after December or in December. Once book 2 is fully uploaded, i'll stub book 1 and move it to amazon + audible, if we can ever figure out a narrator. There is some discussion between myself and the kingofflounders about us just doing the narration ourselves, which we're exploring. But that'll take time. Which is also partially why this story is going on a temporary hiatus. we weren't really expecting success, and now that so many people have shown this book love, we've got to do our part to reciprocate and give the audience an equal amount of entertainment. ;)
