“Samantha! Your turn!” Brandon called out, trying to hide a wide grin.
They did loose the previous round and even if they lost another one it wouldn’t matter since now the challenger was a girl. This was a win-win situation, because if Barbra picked a guy, he wouldn’t be able to fight because of Samantha’s particularly large nature’s gifts, but if she picked one of the few girls from their side, it would be a chick fight and no matter who won or lost because of the spectacle the expedition would’ve been successful right after it began!
‘Two chicks with sticks – that might be every man’s dream!’ Brandon thought inwardly drooling.
Samantha was as surprised as the rest when she got called out, but if the senior brother ordered, she kind of had to comply. She looked at the older girl sitting next to both her seniors and waited who’ll she call out to be her opponent, but what Barbra said made her furrow brows in displeasure while Brandon almost chocked on his own saliva.
“Just where do you think you’re going? Lost Leo! You haven’t lost yet! Continue!” Barbra said with a straight face.
Truth to be said, she pitied the little guy after the last match, but now he was definitely the only one who could stand up to the girl. Obviously Brandon picked the competitor against whom no normal guy could fight, but she knew Leo could sometimes kick even her if she wasn’t careful enough. She simply had no choice!
Hearing Barbra’s order Leo’s countenance darkened. Even in the poor lighting of the bonfire one could notice him angrily mumbling something. His opponent noticed that as well.
Actually he wasn’t upset – he barely heard the instructions. His attention was captured by the two large and round things Samantha carried into his field of vision. Somehow the shadow cast by the fire created an illusion of them slightly swaying and finally Leo realized Jack was right – the bigger the better!
‘Maybe I should even make it a rule?’ Leo asked himself.
Just like the rest Samantha saw him mumbling and took a step closer asking, “Did you say something?”
Leo, still lost somewhere in thoughts automatically blurted out, “Would you like a towel?”
Obviously the maiden had no clue what the boy’s occupation in the Voodoo sect once was. What she heard was that the haughty kid offered her to throw in the towel and give up.
“You wish!” She snorted and kicked him in the face. With her blood boiling she even forgot they had to fight with the wooden fake-swords.
But Barbra was right, Leo had plenty of experience fighting with her, well, in that particular case it was more like running away. Now Samantha’s foot approached his nose just the way Barbra’s kick’s oftentimes did and purely out of habit he rolled away.
“I really do!” He said with a smile.
There were no improper thoughts behind it. He simply liked the idea of drying those huge things with a soft towel, but Samantha finally realized why Barbra insisted on punishing this little rascal. He was a total pervert!
Unfortunately that pervert turned out to be as slippery as an eel. It didn’t take long for Samantha to run out of breath and even though she tried really hard, there was no way to get to the bastard. He dodged, rolled and jumped as if he didn’t have a tough fight just a moment ago. She seriously began to question whether her fellow disciple ever actually hit him with that stick.
The last thought gave her idea. She rushed over to the place Adrian dropped his stick after passing out and now she finally had a chance. Within the span of few breaths she managed to hit Leo’s shoulder and leg and all she had to do was to persist until she landed a clean hit on his head.
Barbra obviously understood that as well and only because there was the honor of the Sacred Order on the line she angrily barked, “You idiot! Would you mind to retaliate?”
The male part of the crowd did mind since they really didn’t want this thing to end. All the swaying and jumping Samantha’s gifts were doing made every guy intoxicated. Some weaker even got nosebleeds, but didn’t bother with that because this was a view they would not be able to enjoy for the second time. During the daytime they had to act like proper gentlemen, but now in the dark no one really saw what they stared at, especially since the fight was so intense.
Leo, of course, heard Barbra cursing him, but was stuck with dilemma already for a while. He couldn’t hit a girl in the face – this much he was certain of after once hitting Barbra. He also couldn’t punch her belly – what if he hit the boobies on accident and damaged the beautiful things?
But then he realized – there was a part of a body where getting hit didn’t really matter and after another evasive roll his palm heavily landed on Samantha’s butt.
A loud smack reverberated through the night and the relaxed crowd immediately turned dead silent.

Brandon looked at Barbra in surprise. She did know the kid would do this, did she? Maybe the girl was in some kinky stuff?
Meanwhile Samantha’s countenance turned dark red. With a shout ‘die, bastard!’ she jumped at Leo, but the boy realized he finally got a hang of it. Every evasive jump or roll ended with a loud smack on her bottom and after ninth or tenth, Samantha suddenly threw the stick to the side and ran away – probably to die from shame in her tent.
Leo didn’t know how exactly, but it seemed he won the second round and finally could take a breather. He sat down right where he stood and tried to catch his breath while every youth looked at him with envy and every female disciple with deep hate.
“Three out of five?” Barbra’s sudden question surprised Brandon once again. He had long lost count how many times he got shocked within one evening, but he had to agree – it turned out to be a good one indeed.
“Sure!” He quickly recovered, immediately realizing Barbra’s intent.
It finally became clear why she picked on the kid and he thanked heavens he never tried any sleazy stuff with her. Actually, if he managed to properly punish the boy, he might even score some bonus points!
Then he got another idea – what if the Sword Mountain won the next two fights, but offered a draw in the name of a friendship between two sects? It was hard to imagine that the upcoming time in this mortal world would be boring with this girl at his side!
“Curtis!” Brandon resolutely shouted, “You’re next!”
Everyone from the Sword Mountain looked at him in surprise. They knew they had to protect their dignity, but calling out a guy at the Qi gathering stage was a bit underhanded. Even Jasper slightly wrinkled nose in displeasure, but then guessed Brandon’s intention and widely grinned.
Curtis, on the other hand didn’t care. He knew Brandon well and that he would be rewarded if his performance was good. He immediately picked up the stick Samantha dropped and went up to Leo.
“Still gonna fight?” He asked.
Leo looked at the young man towering above him and gulped in fear.
In the light of the bonfire the guy looked like a blood demon from hell, but just before Leo was about to answer, hateful Barbra loudly said, “Of course, he will. The disciples of the Sacred Order never give up! Go, Lost Leo! Show them!”
‘Why don’t you just die, b*tch!’ Leo cursed to himself while slowly standing up.
But then he got a brilliant idea. He just had to let the guy hit him on the head and then pass out! The next morning the other sect’s disciples would catch him up on the events that followed and that was it!
Leo’s wide grin made even Curtis uneasy. Was this little guy some kind of devil’s incarnation? What was that with his tenacity? A moment ago he was out of breath, but now stood right in front of him full of smiles! Probably this was how he got the others – first make them feel at ease and then strike where it hurts.
He knew Adrian’s skills. They had exchanged pointers before and Curtis had to agree the guy was quite good. The kid knocking him out certainly pointed that he was not as simple as he looked. And how he dealt with Samantha? He clearly had the ability to easily win, but he went and humiliated the girl!
Suddenly Curtis felt a burst of anger rising from within. This little f*cker needed to be punished! This is why Brandon called him! Of course, just because he was much stronger didn’t mean he was going to be careless.
Leo had no clue what went on in Curtis’s mind. All he saw was how the big guy’s expression darkened to the point it couldn’t get any blacker. But then instead of simply hitting him on the head, the guy lowered his posture and began to slowly pace around as if trying to figure out where to hit.
If anything, this was the night Leo learned there were many people in the world who were sick in the head. First Barbra, then the other sadists. And now this big guy.
And then a realization struck him like a horse carriage driving over an unaware chicken! No, these people were not at fault! There was the guy who sat near Barbra with the pretty sword at his side! He was the one who brought the bad luck to everyone!
Leo knew his father was wise, but once again it was proven by the real life events. Rule number one – ‘There are no auspicious days! Everyone who claims otherwise brings bad luck and has to die!’. First captain Bobier, then the sect master of the Voodoo sect and now this guy, whatever his name was. They all brought bad luck to the people around them!
Fortunately Leo had an amazing father who once taught him the important stuff. He knew what he had to do next, although wasn’t sure how exactly it was supposed to go.
For some reason the moment Leo looked at him with a strange smile, Brandon felt chills run down his spine. Something was really wrong with the kid! No wonder Barbra tried to deal with him the whole time! Maybe he was one of those freaks who never actually cultivated, but thanks to the natural toughness could go head to head with masters! And even if he was so little he was already a pervert!
What happened next confirmed Brandon’s suspicions.
Apparently Curtis also felt the boy was not simple. He approached him carefully, looking for an opening, but from what it looked like there were too many obvious traps. Damn, the boy was good! Turns out he played the poor Adrian from the very start!
Fortunately Curtis didn’t intent to prolong this psychological battle, with perfectly executed footwork he arrived at the boy’s side, but his unavoidable slash missed by hearth’s with when the hateful kid pretended to trip and fall over. The next moment like a lightning he kicked with both legs upwards … right between Curtis’s …
The scene was already dead silent and the only things that disturbed the night were the gusts of wind and crackling sound of the bonfire, but at this moment the spectators of both sexes could swear they heard another distinct sound of something breaking … something that made their hearts skip a beat.
“Uwuuu …” Curtis whimpered and fell first to his knees and then on the side while holding his most precious part.
Purely out of instinct the male audience also grabbed their crotches either to protect them or to verify everything was still there. The girls, on the other hand, paled in fright – this was not something that was easily repairable.
“Ups … my bad!” The little devil jumped on his feet and happily went back to his spot at the bonfire on the way throwing a peculiar look towards Brandon.
At this point the group from the Sword Mountain realized this guy had guessed their leader’s intention and clearly showed there was no messing with him.
Leo did feel slightly lightheaded. At first the big guy moved around in a strange way, but then suddenly appeared right next to him. Purely out off fright he tripped and afterwards tried to push the opponent away, but unfortunately hit the ‘soft spot’. From his own experience Leo knew how painful it was – senior sister Barbra had kicked him in the nuts quite a few times, therefore he politely apologized and left the scene before anyone ordered him to fight again.
After all he had to make plans. Killing a Foundation establishment stage swordsman was not an easy task.
