Blood had filled his eyes and mouth, leading him to only be able to see blurry images of all that was going on.

He tried to move his legs, but his legs had already given out. The only thing that attached him to consciousness was the sheer amount of willpower he possessed.

"Heh. I thought this was going to be a walk in the park," scoffed Nox as he reclined on the throne.

The man and the monster stared at each other.

The minotaur struck the ground with its axe.

Leaving the weapon embedded in the ground, the monster made its way toward Nox.

It puffed up its chest as it walked proudly toward Nox. In its little mind, the victor had already been decided.

'Hahh… Is it pitying me? Leaving behind his weapon, it is confident in his own strength and underestimates mine,' thought Nox, 'Anyway, it's a good thing. I don't have much arcane left. This fight needs to end!'

Considering his state, he would obviously lose if he drew out this battle any longer. He only had a few more chances left.

Mustering all his courage and strength, he forced himself to get up on his shivering legs.

Nox was afraid. But, the fear he felt was much less than his longing to meet his parents.

He understood and accepted the painfully obvious fact that he couldn't beat the monster in terms of strength, agility, and skills.

However, the young man was confident that he could win.

Why was he confident? It was because he had no other choice than to be victorious. At this moment, if he lost here, then he would lose everything.

As he slowly approached the minotaur, the moon dagger flew back to Nox.

"Grrr!" growled the monster as it crouched, readying itself to charge at its opponent.

He changed his direction and sauntered towards the nearby pillar. The pace he walked at was slow. It was like he was crawling.

Every time the man moved, he felt immense pain in his already worn-out legs.

On reaching the pillar, he turned back towards the minotaur and raised his dagger, taunting it.

Enraged by the taunt of a weaker being such as Nox, the minotaur pushed his legs against the ground, launching himself toward the man.

Like a rampaging bull, the monster sprinted on all four limbs, using its horns as weapons to shred anything that came in its way.

As the monster closed the distance between them, Nox mumbled, "Anatomical Liberation."

Using his enhanced speed, Nox disappeared from where he was standing. But the monster couldn't halt its charge and crashed into the pillar.

The entire pillar collapsed, leading to the formation of a huge cloud of dust. A giant piece of the broken pillar fell on top of the minotaur. However, it was easily able to fling it away with a swipe of its huge hand.

"Didn't your mother teach you not to be overconfident?" A voice whispered from behind the monster's ear.

In the next instant, a dagger pierced the monster's right eye.

ROAARRRR!!!!!!

The minotaur shrieked in pain as it swung its fist behind it. But its assailant had already disappeared. It took out the dagger which pierced its eye and threw it away.

"Weakness sight," whispered Nox, using his mana to sense the objects around and move swiftly even in the dust cloud.

However, every time he moved, all he wanted to do was yell in pain.

'There it is!' rejoiced Nox as the skill showed him the weak point of the monster's impenetrable armour, the centre of the chest plate.

His dagger couldn't pierce the armour, but still, he could rely on his own body to crush it.

Hiding amongst the cloud of dust, Nox appeared in front of the monster. Channelling all the arcane in his body to his fist, Nox punched the centre of the armour with his whole strength.

A considerable dent appeared in the armour.

'A few more strikes would be enough,' thought Nox, disappearing back into the dust cloud.

The minotaur was engulfed in its rage. How dare a lowly human dare to attack it?

The monster clapped his hands, dissipating the cloud of dust using the wind pressure.

It held out its hand, and its axe unstuck itself from the floor, making its way back to its master.

The monster whiffed the air, using its acute sense of smell to find the location of its opponent.

The minotaur was able to pinpoint the human's location behind a pillar. The monster rushed to the pillar, reading its huge axe.

It got behind the pillar and swung its axe.

But, it stopped.

There was no human behind the pillar. The only thing there was a black tracksuit, which was hung on a fang, lodged in the wall.

The minotaur was taken aback.

Suddenly, the minotaur heard the sound of rubble from behind its back. It turned its head around to investigate the sound.

Bang!!

The sound of flesh crashing into metal echoed throughout the room.

"The 'Shadow Morph' skill is really useful," mumbled Nox, driving his fist into the huge dent which had formed in the middle of the armour.

Since all of Nox's armour was in transparent mode, his bare body was evident. He was covered in blood, sweat, and bruises from his head to his waist.

The minotaur swung its axe at Nox once again.

But this time, Nox was able to sidestep to the right, dodging the weapon.

Enveloping his left hand in arcane, Nox repeatedly punched the armour's weak spot.

This time, the entire chest plate shattered, leaving the monster vulnerable.

It roared at the top of its voice. It had never been so humiliated before.

With a quick movement, its right hand tightly grasped Nox's neck.

Nox punched the monster's hand repeatedly, but it was of no use. Finally, he kicked its face, but it barely flinched.

"Shit!" exclaimed Nox.

Nox tried to summon his dagger back, but it did not return.

After all, the dagger could only make its way back to its user if it was thrown by the user. But, this time, it was the minotaur who had last thrown the dagger.

"Aghh!!" He was starting to lose consciousness.

[The moon dagger has noticed that its master is in distress!]

[The moon dagger has returned to its master's hands!]

Suddenly, Nox's dagger came back into his hands. Even though Nox couldn't use his skill to summon his dagger back, his dagger still had an ego and could perform some actions on its own.

Using his dagger, the man struck the other eye of the minotaur, blinding it.

Instantly, the monster lost its grip on Nox and fell to the floor, yelling in anger and pain.

Unable to stand up on his legs, Nox fell on top of the monster.

Nox's body felt as if it had been paralysed. After all, Nox had exerted himself more than he ever did before.

"I still need to kill it," mumbled Nox, barely able to stay awake.

He moved his hand to the monster's chest, where its heart was supposed to be. Strangely, the chest's skin was softer than any other part of the monster's body.

"Die," smirked Nox, activating the skill, 'Arcane Dagger'.
