"You sure you're gonna be alright?" Hope kneels, laying a hand on her short companion's shoulder as they enter their room at the Robust Raven. Amadeo and Anna, despite their protests, stayed behind to attend the meeting at Gillian Vessar's home.
"Aye, Red, I'm ok. Just felt sick, that's all." The halfling barely looks at her, moving toward a bed and climbing up into it.
The devilkin watches him silently before pulling a chair up to the bed and sitting down. "Alright, little man. What's the real problem? Cause I know you were feeling perfectly fine until Lord Autumnsong came in. You looked like you'd seen a ghost."
"A ghost. If only that were it, then all my troubles would be over. No, it's not a ghost. It's far worse than that."
"What is it, then? Do you know him from somewhere?"
"Please don't ask this of me, Hope. It's the one story I can't bear to tell." He turns over, locking eyes with her. In the darkness of the room with no light around them, she barely notices how wet his cheeks appear.
She reaches a hand out, softly squeezing his shoulder. "Alright. I'll leave it until you're ready. Get some rest, ok?"
"Thank you. Go to the others, if you don't mind. I'd like to be alone for a while." He turns over, pulling the blanket up around him.
"I can do that." She stands up, pulling the chair back to the table, and goes to the door. Stopping for a moment, she turns back to look across the room at him. For a long few seconds, Hope considers staying. But her respect for his wishes wins out, and she opens the door, stepping through before closing it behind her.
Once Hope is out of the room, Tyrion takes a deep breath and wipes his eyes. "Alright. Time to go to work." He slips from the bed, stacking a few pillows together to form his basic size and shoving them under the blanket. "That'll do for now."
Moving to his pack, the halfling takes out a grappling hook and some rope before opening the window. "Ready for another run, my dear?" He ties the rope to the loop in the hook and steps out onto the window ledge as the moon slips out from behind the clouds. Kissing the hook, he takes a moment to gauge the jump, looking from the ground to the roof and across the way. "Right...Here we go." He swings the hook once, twice, three times before letting it fly. It soars through the air and clangs against the rooftop across the way, coming to rest at the edge and stopping against the gutter. He tugs the rope a few times to test it. "Snug as a bug."
Tyrion looks down to gauge the distance to the ground. "Twenty feet at most. We've got this, my dear." Taking a breath, he scoots himself off the edge, swinging through the air for a brief moment before his feet collide with the brick of the building next door. He waits for a few seconds, but does not feel himself slipping. "Good. Up we go." He begins climbing the rope, reaching the top with ease in just a few seconds. In the light of the street lamps, he easily spots his horned companion, walking leisurely back in the direction of the estate. For a brief moment, he rubs the bridge of his nose. "Summerwind, you dolt, you could have taken the ground level...Bah, too late to change it now." He eyes the direction she's heading, thinking over the course they took before in reverse order before nodding.

Undoing the hook from the roof, he checks the edges. Sheer drops mostly, and at thirty feet or more. He shakes his head and groans at the thought. "That'd hurt. Let's go for a little jog instead." He coils the rope up around his belt and hangs the hook on it before dashing across the roof. The buildings are so close that he easily leaps over the gaps, stopping only once he reaches the corner where two streets meet. Scanning the area, he spots a long rope spanning from one rooftop to another, currently quite full of other peoples' clothes. "You've got to be kidding me..." Seeing no other options, he sighs. "Ok. Here we go then."
Tyrion carefully slips down from the slanted roof, taking hold of the clothes' line. He wraps his hands and legs around it and slips under, moving down the line slowly but surely. Below, he can see Hope stop for a moment as a carriage rides through the street in front of her, continuing on her way and picking up the pace. Not watching where he's going leads the poor halfling to crawl headfirst into a long dress. "Gah!" He stops, one hand letting go and loosening his grip enough for the other to release.
Dangling in the air from his legs, he tightens his hold on the line and swings back and forth. "Come on..." His hold begins to loosen as he tries to grab the line. "Almost. Don't you-" He swings again, one foot coming undone. "-bloody fall!" He gives a mighty swing just as the other leg drops, grabbing the line with both hands. The violent shaking of the line from his antics causes much of the clothes to bounce, and a few garments even glide to the ground upon the light breeze in the air. "Good lad. Only halfway across now. Don't you dare slip, or you'll never heard the end of it."
He moves down the line more carefully, the reduced clothes in his way making the rest of the maneuver a little faster. As he reaches the other side, he hops down onto the ledge of another window. With a sigh, he pauses to take a breath. "Not far now. At least it's in the right direction."
After a few more minutes of roof hopping, he comes to a stop as he realizes where he's at. The tarps, laden with water, have fallen in on themselves, and the patch of hay and straw he used as a bedding have rotted from their time in the elements. Even his little stash of snacks is gone, probably stolen by critters or other people down on their luck. "Ha. My old hideaway."
Across the street sits the Margrave's house, and he takes a moment to enjoy the sight of the place. "If ever I retire from this life..." He shakes his head. "Right. Like that'll ever happen." Watching the front door, he spots Hope approaching. "Ha! Got here before you, Red."
The devilkin knocks on the door and steps in when it opens. Tyrion sits with his back to the low wall of the roof. "Rest up, Summerwind. We'll see where the good Lord Autumnsong goes when he comes out."
